Latar Belakang Masalah : Menurut WHO Anak adalah dihitung sejak seseorang
di dalam kandungan samai dengan usia 19 tahun dan menurut UUD RI Nomor 35
tahun 2014 pasal 1 ayat 1 tentang anak adalah seseorang yang belum berusia 18
tahun, termasuk anak yang masih dalam kandungan anak usia dini merupakan
sebuah dunia yang tidak terlepas dari bermain dan juga berbagai alat permainan
anak-anak. Permainan merupakan salah satu cara yang tepat untuk
mengembangkan berbagai keterampilan anak, baik dari segi kognitif, afektif,
maupun psikomotorik sesuai dengan tahap usianya. Permainan yang menarik
dapat dijadikan media bagi anak untuk belajar banyak dari laporan tahunan Dinas
Kesehatan Kota Gorontalo Tahun 2021, bahwa dengan usia 1-5 tahun berjumlah
11.273 jiwa yang terdiri dari 6.590 anak perempuan dan anak laki-laki sebanyak
4.683.
Hasil : Terapi bermain meronce merangsang motorik halus yaitu otot-otot kecil melalui
gerakan tangan dan mata ketika anak diberikan lembaran yang diwarnai sehingga terjadi
peningkatan perkembangan motorik halus anak.
Background of the Problem: According to WHO, a child is counted from the time a
person is in the womb to the age of 19 years and according to the Indonesian
Constitution Number 35 of 2014 Article 1 paragraph 1 concerning a child is someone
who is not yet 18 years old, including children who are still in the womb. can not be
separated from playing and also various children's play tools. Games are one of the
right ways to develop children's various skills, both in terms of cognitive, affective,
and psychomotor according to their age stage. Interesting games can be used as a
medium for children to learn a lot from the annual report of the Gorontalo City Health
Office in 2021, that with the age of 1-5 years there are 11,273 people consisting of
6,590 girls and 4,683 boys.
Purpose : To find out how the application of the meronce game to the fine motor
development of preschool children in Al-Khairat Kindergarten
Methods: This study directs the author to review how the description of the
application of meronce play therapy in preschool children aged 5 years to determine
motor development.
Results: Meronce play therapy stimulates fine motor skills, namely small muscles
through hand and eye movements when children are given colored sheets so that there
is an increase in children's fine motor development.
Conclusion: Meronce play therapy can improve fine motor development so that it
can be applied to children aged 5 years at Al-Khairat Kindergarten, Gorontalo City.
