MENGGUNAKAN METODE SORTASI

ABSTRAK

Sebuah proses industri yang kompleks dengan jumlah produksi yang besar, memerlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat
bekerja dan mengontrol seluruh proses produksi agar hasil produksi dan kualitas produk sesuai dengan yang
diharapkan produsen. Maka dari itu dibuatlah sistem otomasi yang dirancang untuk mengontrol proses produksi
dengan baik dan benar. Perangkat yang digunakan pada sistem otomasi adalah Programmable Logic Controller
(PLC) yang merupakan perangkat elektronik yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan proses produksi agar lebih
efisien dan berkualitas. PLC selalu didampingi oleh Human Machine Interface (HMI) yang merupakan sistem tatap
muka antara sistem industri yang dikontrol oleh PLC dangan operator yang menjalankan sistem industri tersebut.
PLC yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu menggunkan PLC Mega V.1 yang deprogram menggunakan outseal
studio, untuk sensor yang digunakanj yaitu menggunakan sensor proximity untuk mendeteksi benda atau permukaan
yang didepannya. PLC digunakan sebagai media pengontrol utama daalam sistem yang dibuat. Sistem akan
berjalan ketika push button ditekan. Setelah konveyor berjalan membawa kemasan maka akan melewati sensor
pendeteksi ukuran terlebih dahulu. Setelah sudah terdeteksi kemudian kemasan menuju proses pengisian produk.
Dihitung dengan ukuran kemasan masing masing. Setelah produk diisi maka kemasan akan berjalan untuk proses
tutup kemasan. Kemudian setelah kemasan ditutup yaitu konveyor berjalan kembali sampai kemasan terdeteksi oleh
sensor finish. Sistem akan berhenti ketika push button stop ditekan.

ABSTRAK

a complex industrial process with a large amount of production, requires a system that can work and control the
entire production process so that the production results and product quality in accordance with the manufacturer's
expectations. Therefore, automation system is made designed to control the production process properly and
correctly. The device used in automation system is Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) which is an electronic
device used to control the production process to be more efficient and quality. PLC is always accompanied by
Human Machine Interface (HMI) which is a face-to-face system between industrial systems controlled by PLC and
operators who run the industrial system. PLC used in the research is using PLC MEGA V.1 that deprogram using
outseal studio, for sensors used that is using proximity sensors to detect objects or surfaces in front of it. PLC is used
as the main controlling media in the system created. The system will run when the push button is pressed. Once the
conveyor is running carrying the packaging it will pass through the size detection sensor first. Once it has been
detected then the packaging goes to the product filling process. Calculated by the size of each package. After the
product is filled, the packaging will run for the packaging cap process. Then after the packaging is closed i.e. the
conveyor runs back until the packaging is detected by the finish sensor. The system stops when the push button stop
is pressed.
