PENGARUH PENERAPAN TEORI BELAJAR VAN HIELE

TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI
SIFAT-SIFAT BANGUN DATAR KELAS IV

Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah salah satunya apakah

ada pengaruh penerapan teori elajar Van Hiele terhadap hasil belajar
siswa pada materi pokok Sifat-Sifat Bangun Datar di Kelas IV Sekolah
Dasar? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil
belajar matematika siswa pada materi pokok Sifat-Sifat Bangun Datar
melalui penerapan Teori Belajar Van Hiele di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen
(experimental research). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa
kelas IV SDN 1 Kolono dan seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 15 Laonti, dengan
kelas eskperimen yang berjumlah 15 siswa, terdiri dari 7 laki-laki dan 8
perempuan. Sedangkan kelas kontrol berjumlah 13 siswa, terdiri dari 7
laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes
pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
meliputi statistic deskriptif, analisis N-gain uji normalitas, uji homogenitas
dan uji beda rata-rata. Hasil uji kelas eksperimen rata-rata N-gain 0.333
dengan kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol 0.246 dengan kategori sedang.
Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian uji normalitas disimpulkan data
berdistribusi normal dan hasil uji homogenitas di simpulkan varians data
homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji sample t-test nilai p-value <
α atau 0.000 < 0.05, maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh
teori belajar van hiele. Sedangkan pada model konvensional di peroleh
nilai p-value < α atau 0.000 < 0.05 maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa
terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil uji beda rata-
rata di peroleh nilai p-value ˃ α atau 0.208 ˃ 0.05 maka dapat di
simpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan model pembelajaran van hiele dan
konvensional. Namun di lihat dari secara rata-rata lebih meningkat atau
berpengaruh menggunakan teori belajar van hiele.

The formulation of the problem in this study is one of them is there

any effect of applying Van Hiele's learning theory to student learning
outcomes in the subject matter of Flat Shape Properties in Grade IV
Elementary Schools? The purpose of this study was to determine the
effect of students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject matter of
Flat Shape Properties through the application of Van Hiele's Learning
Theory in grade IV of Elementary School. This research uses a type of
quasi-experimental research (experimental research). The subjects in this
study were all fourth grade students at SDN 1 Kolono and all fourth grade
students at SDN 15 Laonti, with an experimental class of 15 students,
consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. Meanwhile, the control class consisted of
13 students, consisting of 7 boys and 6 girls. The data collection technique
uses multiple choice tests. Data analysis techniques used in this study
include descriptive statistics, N-gain analysis, normality test, homogeneity
test and average difference test. The test results for the experimental
class average N-gain 0.333 in the medium category and the control class
0.246 in the moderate category. Based on the data from the research
results of the normality test, it was concluded that the data were normally
distributed and the homogeneity test results concluded that the variance of
the data was homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test using the
sample t-test for p-value <α or 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there
is an influence of van Hiele's learning theory. Whereas in the conventional
model, a p-value <α or 0.000 <0.05 is obtained, it can be concluded that
there is an influence of the conventional learning model. The results of the
average difference test obtained a p-value of ˃ α or 0.208 ˃ 0.05, so it can
be concluded that there is no difference between the van Hiele and
conventional learning models. But in terms of the average increase or
influence using van Hiele's learning theory.
