One of Method to evaluate the bridge can be done by using capacity analysis. It
is Rating Factor analysis. Rating factor analysis carried out by comparing the residual
strength of the bridge after serving the dead load by load traffic. From the results of the
Rating Factor Analysis, it can be done by evaluating the capacity of the bridge which is
the value of the allowable live load in accordance with the ability of the bridge. In this
Final Project, case studies taken from Congot II Bridge which forms of a simple beam
bridge pre-stressed concrete structure with three spans (30 m, 40 m and 30 m) by simply
reviewing the upper structure of the bridge such as floor plate, bridge beams, and
diaphragm beams. Data taken from the bridge picture working plan and as built drawing
prepared by the Planning and Oversight SKNVT Perencanaan dan Pengawasan Jalan dan
Jembatan DIY. Rating Factor calculation analysis based on the draft of Bridge Building
Guidelines for Determining the Value of Bridge Capacities from Dirjen Bina Marga by
analyzing the daily conditions (inventory) and special conditions (operating). Loading
analysis conducted with reference to the RSNI T-02-2005 (Standar Pembebanan untuk
Jembatan) while the analysis of bridge longitudinal section refers to the RSNI T-12-2004
(Perencanaan Struktur Beton untuk Jembatan). Calculation of support reaction due to the
loading can be calculated by the method of M.Pigeaud for the floor plate components and
with SAP2000 for the bridge beam and diaphragm beam components.
From the Rating Factor analysis, we got Rating Factor Values of the bridge
components. For the components of the vehicle floor plate, the biggest Rating Factor
value of the bending moment is 4,029, and the smallest is 3,101. For shearing force
obtained a value of 1,336. On the bridge beam components, based on the inventory rating
factor, the biggest value of the bending moment is 3,341 and the smallest is 2,958, the
biggest value of the shearing force is 3,002 and the smallest is 2,203. Based on the
operating factor, the biggest value of the bending moment is 9,383 and the smallest value
of 8,583, while the biggest value of the shearing force is 4,118 and the smallest is 2,322.
In the diaphragm beam components, based on inventory rating factor, the biggest value
of the bending moment is 11.620,3 and the smallest is 2.099, the biggest value of the
shearing force is 1.406,8 and smallest is 47,649. Based on the operating rating factor,
the biggest value of the bending moment is 259.005,4 and the smallest value is 2,194, the
biggest value of the shearing force is 333,617 and smallest is 12,915. So it can be
concluded that all components observed have the ability of longitudinal section that can
withstand the loading from traffic load given as indicated by the rating factor > 1. So
that, we have the results of the upper structure evaluation Congot II Bridge is able to
serve the traffic loading on a daily or special conditions of traffic load.
