 DEFINISI

TEKS DISKUSI
Teks diskusi adalah wacana tulis yang
membicarakan dua pendapat yang berbeda,
yakni pendapat di sisi pendukung dan
pendapat di sisi lawan. Sebagai hasil dari
kedua pendapat yang berbeda tersebut
kedua pihak bertukar pikiran tentang topik
yang sedang dibicarakan dalam bentuk
diskusi.

1. Teks diskusi terdiri atas
a. isu,
b. argumen pendukung (pro),
c. argumen penentang (kontra), dan
d. kesimpulan.
2. Teks diskusi berisi informasi yang
cenderung bersifat informative dan
argumentatif.

TEKS DISKUSI
1. ISU
Pada bagian isu ini dibicarakan tentang topik
atau masalah yang ingin dibahas lebih lanjut
pada diskusi.

2. ARGUMEN PENDUKUNG (PRO)

Pada bagian argumen pendukung, yang
menjadi pokok bahasan mencakupi
pembahasan topik yang searah, setuju, dan
bersifat mendukung topik yang menjadi
4 bahasan dalam diskusi.

3. ARGUMEN PENENTANG
(KONTRA)
Bagian argumen penentang
merupakan kebalikan dari argumen
pendukung. Bagian ini berisi
pembahasan yang bertolak belakang
dan menentang topik yang menjadi
bahan perbincangan pada teks.

4. KESIMPULAN
Bagian kesimpulan berisi
kesimpulan dan saran mengenai
topik yang telah dibahas dalam
diskusi. Pernyataan tidak memiliki
tendensi kepada suatu pihak dan
merupakan jalan tengah dari isu
yang didiskusikan.

 TUJUAN

TEKS DISKUSI
Teks ini bertujuan mencari titik temu
yang telah mencapai kesepakatan,
mufakat antara dua belah pihak atas
topik yang menjadi pokok bahasan
mereka dengan cara berdiskusi.

1. Menggunakan kata penghubung
perlawanan, seperti ‘tetapi’, ‘namun’,
‘sedangkan’, dan lain sebagainya.
2. Menggunakan modalitas, yakni
ungkapan yang mengacu kepada bentuk
bahasa yang bermakna kemungkinan
dan fakta.
