8. SEISO reserves the right to search and/or screen
SEISO in positions designated as “Safety
Sensitive”, for Drugs and Alcohol before entering
SEISO or, engaging in SEISO business, or
operating SEISO’s
9. Random Testing shall be done on all designated
“Safety Sensitive Personnel”. Each “Safety
Sensitive Person” shall be tested at least once in
any one calendar year.
10. SEISO reserves the right to search and/or screen
any person on the crew that SEISO suspects has a
Drug or Alcohol problem or is involved in an
incident where the effects of drugs and or alcohol
could possibly be a cause or partial cause of the
incident.
11. Prior written consent must be obtained from any
person who is to be screened. Failure to give
written consent for a screen by the person will be
cause for disciplinary action, up to and including
termination, removal from SEISO’s premises and
operations.
12. A positive screen on an employee will be cause
for disciplinary action, up to and including
termination.
The testing for Drugs and Alcohol procedure is:
The analysis is carried out through a urine test to
detect any reactive drug and alcohol element(s).

8. SEISO berhak mencari dan menyeleksi
karyawan SEISO yang bekerja pada bagian
pekerjaan yang bersifat “Safety Sensistive”
dalam kaitannya dengan keterlibatan
penggunaan minuman keras dan obat terlarang,
sebelum memasuki lokasi kerja SEISO, pada
saat mengoperasikan peralatan SEISO
9. Pengujian secara acak harus dilakukan pada
seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada bidang
kerja yang bersifat “Safety Sensistive”.
Setidaknya dalam setahun, setiap pekerja
harus sudah melalui satu kali pengujian.
10. SEISO berhak untuk mencari dan memeriksa
setiap personil kru yang diduga memiliki
masalah penggunaan minuman keras atau obat
terlarang, atau terlibat dalam kegiatan yang
berhubungan dengan obat-obat terlarang atau
minuman keras.
11. Sebelum melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap
seseorang, buatlah surat persetujuan yang
disetujui oleh yang bersangkutan. Apabila
orang tidak disetujui dalam tulisan untuk
diperiksa maka akan mendapatkan sanksi
disiplin, termasuk pemecatan (PHK) dan
dipindahkan dari wilayah kerja dan operasi
SEISO, maka pembuatan surat persetujuan
harus dibatalkan.
12. Hasil pemeriksaan yang membuktikan adanya
pelanggaran yang dilakukan karyawan apabila
hasilnya positif , akan berakibat dikenai sanksi
disiplin, termasuk pemecatan (PHK).
Prosedur pengujian keterlibatan penggunaan
minuma keras dan obat terlarang, adalah
sebagai berikut :

The urine sample will be taken generally under the
control of the doctor or paramedic, using clean
sterilized bottles and witnessed generally by a HSE
Officer. Each bottle will be clearly identified with a
control number. The person being tested will be given
that number for his own reference.
The method of testing is the Screening/Filter and
Confirmation Test.
The Screening Method or Filter test is conducted by a
“rapid test”. This device is a dipstick which when
dipped into the urine causes a stripe to appear (either
positive or negative). The process takes 5 minutes.
Further tests need to be done on any positive reading
by means of a “Rapid Screen” device or further can be
conducted at reference hospital
If for any reason the rapid testing equipment is not
available, shall use the approved Laboratorium in
Surabaya or any approved testing facility
Contoh urine akan diambil di bawah pengawasan
dokter/paramedis, dengan menggunakan botol
steril dan disaksikan pula oleh petugas HSE.
Setiap botol harus mudah diidentifikasi dengan
cara menggunakan nomor kontrol. Orang yang
telah diambil sampel urinnya, diberikan nomor
tersebut sabagai referensi
Metode pengujian yang dilakukan adalah “Uji
Penyaringan/Filter dan Konformasi”.
Metode penyaringan atau filter dilakukan dengan
pengujian “secara cepat”. Alat yang dipakai
adalah berupa batang celup yang apabila
dicelupkan ke dalam contoh urin, akan muncul
garis/strip yang menerangkan apakah urin
tersebut positif mengandung alkohol atau zat
terlarang, atau tidak (negatif). Pengujian dengan
cara ini memerlukan waktu sekitar 5 menit.
Pengujian selanjutnya yang diperlukan untuk
menindak lanjuti hasil pembacaan yang “positif”
adalah dengan menggunakan alat “Rapid
Screen” atau pengujian dapat dilakukan dirumah
sakit rujukan.
