1. Tujuan/Objective
Pembuatan Prosedur Pengoperasian Boiler ini bertujuan untuk menjadi pegangan bagi
operator dalam mengoperasikan dan merawat Pesawat Uap (Boiler) dengan benar
sehingga diperoleh pengoperasian yang efektif, efisien, produktif dan lebih terjaminnnya
keselamatan kerja.
Preparation of Boiler Operating Procedures aims to become a handle for the operator to
operate and maintain the aircraft Steam (Boiler) correctly in order to obtain the
operation of an effective, efficient, productive and more terjaminnnya safety.

2. Ruang Lingkup/Scope
Prosedur Pengoperasian Boiler diterapkan bagi Staff Mechanical & Electrical khususnya
Operator Boiler dalam melakukan pengoperasian boiler. Yang dimaksud boiler adalah
ketel uap dan alat-alat lainnya yang dengan langsung atau tidak langsung berhubungan
dengan suatu ketel uap dan dipergunakan untuk bekerja sama untuk menghasilkan uap
dengan tekanan lebih besar dari udara luar sesuai dengan yang diinginkan dan
dipergunakan di luar pesawat itu sendiri.

3. Penanggung Jawab/Accountability
3.1. Penanggung jawab supervisi pelaksanaan prosedur ini adalah Supervisor/Ass
Mechanical & Electrical.
Responsible for supervising the implementation of this procedure is the Supervisor /
Asst Mechanical & Electrical.
3.2. Penanggung jawab langsung adalah Operator Boiler sebagai pelaksana
pengoperasian Boiler.
Responsible for direct Boiler Operators as the executor of the operation of boilers.

4. Langkah Kerja/Procedure
4.1 Prosedur pengoperasian Boiler
4.1 Boiler Operating Procedure

4.1.1 Boiler dioperasikan apabila proses produksi berlangsung.

Boiler is operated when the production process takes place.
4.1.2 Boiler boleh dioperasikan apabila hasil pengecekan pada Formulir
Pemeriksaan Harian Boiler Unit menunjukkan hasil LOLOS dan mendapat
verifikasi dari Kepala Departemen Technical & Maintenance.

Boilers may be operated if the results of checks on Form Daily Boiler

Inspection Unit shows the results of escape and get verification from the Head
of the Department of Technical & Maintenance.
4.1.3 Pengoperasian boiler diikuti dengan pengisian Formulir Daftar Periksa
Operasi Boiler.
Operation of the boiler followed by filling Form Boiler Operation Checklist.
4.1.4 Boiler boleh dioperasikan apabila telah memiliki Akta Ijin Operasi Pemakaian
dari Dinas Pengawasan Keselamatan Kerja.
Boilers may be operated if it has a Deed of Operating Permit Use of Work
Safety Supervision Department.
4.1.5 Pengoperasian dilakukan oleh Operator Boiler dengan kualifikasi minimal
telah memiliki Surat Ijin Melayani Pesawat Uap (Operator Boiler) kelas II
(dua) atau dalam pengawasan Operator Boiler Kelas I (satu).

have driver's license Aircraft Serving Steam (Boiler Operator) class II (two)
or in the supervision of the Boiler Operator Class I (one).
4.1.6 Operasi boiler dilaksanakan mulai pukul 07.00 WIB, atau ada kebijakan lain.

4.1.7 Boiler dan area sekitarnya dalam kondisi bersih dan telah dilakukan
Preventive Maintenance yang memadai.

4.1.8 Dilakukan pengecekan terhadap alat-alat perlengkapan (appendages) tentang
jumlah, kondisi dan unjuk kerjanya.

4.1.9 Dilarang mengubah setting dari katup pengaman (safety valve) atau saklar
tekan (pressure switch) tanpa sepengetahuan dari Kepala Departemen
Technical & Maintenance.
Prohibited to change the setting of safety valve (safety valve) or press the
switch (pressure switch) without the knowledge of the Head of the Department
of Technical & Maintenance.

4.1.10 Yang terpenting sebelum pengoperasian boiler adalah pengecekan atau

pemeriksaan saluran gelas duga (Water Level Gauge) air boiler, dimana harus
tidak boleh tersumbat dan dapat dengan jelas terlihat penunjukannya.

4.1.11 Air boiler dalam batas normal yang telah ditentukan dan dalam pengisian
kembali harus selalu dalam batas mormal bila boiler dioperasikan.

4.1.12 Ketersediaan air pengisi cukup dan telah melewati proses pengolahan (water
treatment) sehingga aman bagi boiler dan produk.

4.1.13 Burner dalam kondisi bersih dan ketersediaan bahan bakar cukup.

4.1.14 Bila terjadi kegagalan penyalaan sampai 5 (lima) kali, segera lapor kepada
Kepala Departemen T&M atau Plant Manager untuk diambil langkah-langkah
selanjutnya.

4.1.15 Dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap boiler dan alat kelengkapannya secara
menyeluruh untuk mengetahui kemungkinan adanya bagian-bagian yang
macet atau bocor setelah boiler beroperasi setiap jam sekaligus pengisian
Daftar Periksa Operasi Boiler.

4.1.16 Segera matikan pembakaran apabila dijumpai hal-hal yang tidak wajar dan
membahayakan serta segera laporkan ke Kepala Departemen T&M atau Plant
Manager.

Immediately turn off combustion encountered when things are unnatural and
dangerous and immediately report to the Head of Department T & M or Plant
Manager.
4.1.17 Penyambungan uap dari boiler ke instalasi beban dilakukan dengan hati-hati
dan pelan untuk menghindari terbawanya air oleh uap dan menghindari
terjadinya panas dan tekanan kejut pada instalasi pipa tersebut.

4.1.18 Penyampaian (blow down) untuk membuang endapan sedimen atau lumpur dari
boiler dilakukan satu kali dalam interval waktu maksimal 3 jam sekali.

4.2 Prosedur Perawatan Boiler

4.2.1 Perawatan dilakukan berdasarkan Preventive Maintenance Schedule yang telah

dibuat dan diikuti dengan pengisian formulir service record.

4.2.2 Pembetulan atau reparasi dilakukan setelah mendapat ijin dari Direksi terhadap
gambar rencana dan diawasi oleh ahli atau pegawai pengawas yang ditunjuk.

designated supervisor.
4.2.3 Pembakaran selalu diusahakan agar secara merata, sesuai dengan tujuan
ekonomis dan menjauhkan akses pembakaran dan apabila nyala api kurang baik
serta suhu dapur menurun adakan pemerikasaan guna menghasilkan akumulasi
pembakaran yang baik.

4.2.5 Kedudukan permukaan air dalam boiler yang terbaik adalah selalu dalam rata-
rata sewaktu boiler beroperasi.

4.2.6 Apabila terjadi pembuihan yang hebat saat boiler beroperasi, maka dilakukan
pembersihan atau pengurasan air boiler.

4.2.7 Sangat tidak dibenarkan apabila pada air dalam boiler terdapat minyak.

4.2.8 Dilakukan pengambilan sample air boiler untuk dilakukan analisa laboratorium
minimal satu bulan sekali.

4.2.9 Pengeluaran air dari boiler dilakukan bila air telah benar-benar dingin untuk
menghindari melekatnya kerak-kerak.

4.2.10 Pembersihan boiler dilakukan setelah pemutusan hubungan boiler dengan
perlengkapan lainnya benar-benar sempurna dan dipastikan tersediannya

dan lobang lainnya dan penerangan yang cukup dengan listrik tegangan rendah
maksimal 50 volt dan kabel jenis SRMI, serta lampu harus memiliki pelindung
dan alat pemegang.

4.2.12 Pastikan tidak ada peralatan atau perkakas luar yang masih tertinggal dalam
boiler sebelum boiler ditutup setelah perbaikan atau perawatan.

4.2.13 Boiler yang tidak dipakai dalam peroide yang lama, diusahakan air selalu hangat
dengan pemanasan yang rutin.
