CHAPTER IV

“ COME TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY, PLEASE ! “

KOMPETENSI DASAR :
1.1 Mensyukuri kesempatan dapat mempelajari Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa
pengantar komunikasi internasional yang diwujudkan dalam semangat belajar.
2.1 Menunjukan perilaku santun dan peduli dalam melaksanakan komunikasi
interpersonal dengan guru dan teman.
3.4 Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teksinteraksi
interpersonal lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan menyuruh, mengajak,
meminta izin serta menanggapinya, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
4.4 Menyusun teks interaksi interpersonal lisan dan tulis sangat pendek dan sederhana
yang melibatkan tindakan menyuruh, mengajak, meminta izin dan menanggapinya
dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang
benar dan sesuai dengan konteks.

TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN :
Setelah kegiatan pembelajaran, Peserta Didik diharapkan dapat :
1. Mengidentifikasi fungsi social, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi
interpersonal lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan yang menyuruh, mengajak,
meminta izin serta menanggapinya sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya;
2. Mengidentifikasi ungkapan menyuruh, mengajak, meminta izin serta menanggapinya
dalam Bahasa Inggris;
3. Membuat percakapan pendek yang menggunakan ungkapan menyuruh, mengajak,
meminta izin serta responnya dalam Bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan konteks;
4. Mempraktekkan percakapan pendek menggunakan ungkapan menyuruh, mengajak,
meminta izin serta responnya dalam Bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan konteks.

MATERI PEMBELAJARAN :
Materi pada unit ini adalah Invitation, giving instruction / imperative, dan asking and giving
permission.

FUNGSI SOSIAL :
1. Menyuruh , mengajak, meminta izin;
2. Serta menanggapinya, untuk menjaga hubungan interpersonal dengan guru dan teman.

GIVING INSTRUCTION and PROHIBITIONS :


To give intructions is an expression to ask someone to do something , and a statement that
describes how to do something or an order / command.
- Don’t Smoking! ( Jangan merokok )
- Open the door, please! ( Tolong buka pintu. )
- Don’t be lazy! ( jangan malas! )
- Stand up please ! ( tolong berdiri ! )
- Sweep the floor! ( Tolong sapu lantai itu! )

ASK FOR PERMISSION :


To ask for permissions is an expression to ask someone to do something, with making polite
request
- May I wash my hand, please! ( boleh saya cuci tangan )
- Can I use your pen ? ( Boleh saya menggunakan pulpenmu ? )
- May I use the paper to wrap my gift? ( bolehkah saya menggunakan kertas – kertas itu
untuk membungku kadoku?

- Would you mind if I left this class? ( kamu tidak keberatan jika saya meninggalkan
