Increasing the number of people who are not in line with the improvement in the
quality of their population will only be a burden on the government in carrying out
development. Family Planning Program (KB) is one of the government's efforts to reduce
the rate of population growth. Besides being expected to reduce population growth, family
planning is also expected to improve the quality of Indonesia's population. Therefore the
existence of good cooperation between the government and the community is very much
needed for the implementation of the program. Community participation is the key to
implementing a government program. Community participation can be either active or
passive participation. The involvement of the community from the planning stage to the
evaluation phase is useful to see the suitability of the program with community needs. This
paper aims to analyze the level of community participation in the Family Planning
Program (KB) and identify the factors that influence the community in participating in the
Family Planning Program (KB). Writing method used by collecting secondary data in the
form of books, theses, or journals to become the next reference for writing.
