Memberikan penjelasan tentang tata cara
pelaksanaan mengoperasikan dump truck
yang benar dan akurat serta bekerja
dengan aman dan benar.

Saat memeriksa radiator, periksa
ketinggian air pada reservoir nya. Jika
tidak dilengkapi reservoir, periksa
radiator jika mesin sudah dingin,
gunakan majun waktu membuka /
menutup tutup radiator, putar sedikit
dan tahan, biarkan tekanan dalam
radiator hilang, baru buka tutupnya.
Jangan membuka radiator dengan
kaki. Jika terpaksa harus membuka
bagian mesin yang panas, gunakan
sarung tangan kulit.
5.2.7. Hati – hati saat memeriksa elektrolit
baterai, gunakan senter, jangan
memakai api terbuka (korek api,
pemantik rokok dsb).
5.2.8. Sebelum mesin dihidupkan,
perhatikan kondisi sekitar, transmisi
harus netral, klakson 1x, tunggu 15
detik, atur bukaan gas rendah,
hidupkan mesin.
5.2.9. Periksa panel-panel indikator, atur
putaran mesin dan uji fungsi alat- alat
kerja.
5.2.10. Periksa dan pastikan fungsi
emergency brake, dan sistem
pneumatik bekerja sempurna.
5.3. Naik Turun Unit
Bersihkan dulu anak tangga dan
pegangan tangga dari lumpur, grease
atau kotoran penyebab licin lainnya.

5.2.4. When opening/closing cabin watch the
fingers, hand and balance
5.2.5. When check machine, watch the finger
and hand position, be careful in narrow

5.2.6. Be careful at hot engine parts (turbo,
exhaust, radiator). When checking
radiator, check the water level on the
reservoir. If not completed with
reservoir, check the radiator if the
engine cold, use advance time to
open/close radiator cap, turn a little and
hold up, let the pressure in radiator go,
then open the cap. Don’t open the
radiator with foot. If forced should open
the part of hot engine, use leather
gloves.
5.2.7. Be careful when checking battery
electrolyte, use flashlight, do not use
open flames (matches, cigarette
lighters, etc.)
5.2.8. Before start the engine, pay attention to
the surrounding conditions,
transmission must neutral, horn 1 time,
wait 15 seconds, set low throttle, turn
on the engine.
5.2.9. Check the indicator panels, set the
engine speed and test the function of
the work tools
5.2.10. Check and ensure the function of
emergency brake, and pneumatic
system work perfectly
5.3.Up and down units
Clean up first the stairs and banister from
mud, grease and other slippery dirt.

5.4. Operasi Kosongan
5.4.1. Agar tangan / kaki tidak terjepit
waktu menutup pintu, usahakan
gunakan satu tangan untuk menarik
handle pintu dan tangan yang lain
berpegangan pada kursi, pastikan
kedua kaki sudah berpijak di lantai
kabin, jangan membanting pintu
kabin, tutuplah dengan perlahan
namun pasti.
5.4.2. Selama berada dalam kabin, sabuk
pengaman harus selalu dipakai,
demikian juga helm jika perlu. Atur
posisi kursi agar nyaman.
Kelalaian pada waktu operasi bisa
mengakibatkan tabrakan, unit terguling atau
senggolan, maka hal-hal berikut ini harus
dipatuhi:
5.4.3. Sebelum pekerjaan dimulai, pastikan
operator mengetahui lokasi dan
pekerjaan yang harus dilakukan.
Diskusikan dengan pengawas.
5.4.4. Jika daerah operasi merupakan
daerah baru buat operator, maka jika
perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan terlebih
dulu, diskusikan dengan pengawas.
5.4.5. Pada dump truck dengan kemudi
sebelah kiri dan berjalan di jalur kiri,
operator harus lebih hati-hati terutama
waktu berpapasan, kurangi kecepatan.
5.4.6. Kecepatan maksimum truk dalam
kondisi kosongan atau muatan adalah
40 km/jam dalam keadaan normal.
Sebelum memasuki turunan / tanjakan,
periksa kerja sistem rem. Jika jarum indikator
tekanan angin turun terlalu cepat, hentikan
operasi. Agar tidak menabrak pada saat
mengoperasikan unit, maka diharuskan
mematuhi aturan isyarat bunyi klakson yang

discuss with the supervisor
5.4.5. In a dump truck with left steering and
driving in the left lane, operator must be
careful especially when they meet,

5.4.6. Speed maximum truck in empty
condition or payload is 40km/hour

Before enter the descant/incline, check brake
system work. If the wind pressure indicator
needle drops to fast, stop operation. So as not
to crash while operating the unit, then it is
required to comply with the following
prescribed horn signaling rules:
5.4.7. One length before starting the engine
5.4.8. Twice short before moving
5.4.9. Three short times before back off, or
use reverse alarm

dengan mengatur transmisi dan
kecepatan.
5.4.12. Jangan mengemudi dengan
mengubah kecepatan atau arah yang
mendadak.
5.4.13. Ikuti petunjuk pengoperasian alat
dengan benar.
Jika pandangan terhalang atau cuaca buruk,
hentikan unit, parkirlah di tempat yang aman,
ikuti instruksi pengawas.
Jika mengoperasikan unit malam hari, harus
memperhatikan:
5.4.14. Semua lampu operasi harus dalam
keadaan baik dan dinyalakan.
5.4.15. Hati – hati karena tinggi relatif obyek
di atas tanah malam hari bisa
berbeda dibandingkan dengan siang
hari.
5.5. Mengisi Muatan
Saat memasuki daerah pengisian muatan,
perhatikan:
5.5.1. Berikan klakson atau sinyal lampu
pada alat loading atau alat berat lain
yang ada, pastikan operatornya
mengetahui keberadaan unit (gunakan
radio kontak untuk berkomunikasi
dengan operator alat loading).
5.5.2. Amati pula keberadaan orang atau

5.5.Fill in load
When entering the charging area pay attention
to:
5.5.1. Give a horn or light signal at loading
equipment or other existing heavy
equipment, ensure the operator know
where the unit is (use contact radio to
communicate with loading equipment
operator)
5.5.2. Also observe the presence of people or

kendaraan ringan lainnya.
5.5.3. Operator harus bisa mengamati
seluruh kegiatan pemuatan dari
depan.
5.5.4. Jangan parkir untuk mengantri hingga
tidak bisa melihat alat loading
5.5.5. Perhatikan titik pemuatan, jika kurang
rata atau membahayakan, mintalah
alat loading atau dozer untuk
mempersiapkannya dahulu.
5.5.6. Jika ada unit lain yang sedang diisi,
antrilah pada jarak dan lokasi yang
aman.
5.5.7. Ikuti pola antrian dan manuver
pengisian.
5.5.8. Jika truk di depan sudah selesai diisi,
mulailah manuver, mundurlah ke titik
pemuatan, jika bucket alat loading
sudah siap menggantung dan
operator alat loading memberikan
sinyal klakson, mundurlah ke titik
pemuatan, dan berhenti jika operator
alat loading memberikan sinyal
klakson (perhatikan pula melalui kaca
spion), atau dump body diisi muatan
oleh alat loading.
5.5.9. Sebelum bergerak mundur, amati
keadaan di belakang dengan melihat
kaca spion, atau ikuti aba-aba
pemandu jika ada. Mundurlah dengan
perlahan dan hati - hati.
5.5.10. Usahakan truk dihentikan dalam
keadaan rata dan stabil. Agar operator
tidak terjatuh dan cedera maka pada
saat unit sedang diisi, operator truk
dilarang keluar kabin operator.
5.6. Bongkar Muatan
Semua aturan pada operasi diberlakukan
pula pada saat mengoperasikan unit dengan
membawa muatan, yaitu:
5.6.1. Unit dengan keadaan bermuatan
akan mengakibatkan titik berat unit

5.5.3. Operator must be able to observe the
whole loading activities from the front

uneven or dangerous, ask loading
equipment or dozer to prepare it first
5.5.6. If there are other unit which is being fill,
queue in safe distance and location
5.5.7. Follow the queueing patterns and filling
maneuvers
5.5.8. If the truck in front has been filled, start
the maneuvers, back off to the loading
point, if bucket of loading equipment
ready to hang and loading equipment
give horn signal, back of to the loading
point, and stop if the loading equipment
operator give horn signal (also pay
attention to rearview mirror), or dump
body filled with payload by equipment

5.5.9. Before moving backward, observe the
situation behind by look at the rearview
mirror, or follow the instruction of guide
if any. Back slowly and carefully
5.5.10. Try to stop the truck in flat and stable
condition. So that the operator does not
fall and get injured when the unit is
filled, truck operator is prohibited
leaving the operator cabin
5.6.Unloading
All rules on the operation also apply during on
operate the unit with payload, that is:
5.6.1. Unit with in loaded condition that will be
resulting in the point of gravity of the
unit rising upwards, so that reduce the

jika memasuki tikungan,
persimpangan atau alat berat lain.
5.6.6. Kurangi kecepatan sebelum
memasuki turunan / tanjakan, periksa
kerja sistem rem. Jika jarum indikator
tekanan angin turun terlalu cepat,
hentikan operasi.
5.6.7. Semua lampu operasi harus dalam
keadaan baik dan dinyalakan.
5.6.8. Hati-hati karena tinggi relatif obyek
di atas tanah malam hari bisa
berbeda dibandingkan dengan siang
hari.

ini harus diikuti:
5.7.8. Naikkan dump body untuk
menumpahkan muatan secukupnya.
5.7.9. Jika semua muatan sudah
ditumpahkan, turunkan dump body
dalam keadaan unit berhenti.
5.7.10. Hati-hati terhadap kabel yang
menggantung.
5.7.11. Jika muatan terhalang oleh tumpukan,
majukan unit perlahan lurus ke depan,
jika muatan sudah ditumpahkan
semua, berhenti dan turunkan dump
body. Jangan menurunkan dump body
saat unit berjalan karena akan
merusak mekanisme dump body area
penumpahan biasanya amat berdebu,
maka manuver truk harus dilakukan
dengan perlahan dan hati – hati.
Komunikasi yang baik dengan dozer
dan truk lain bisa dilakukan dengan
isyarat klakson atau lampu.
Penumpahan di crusher bisa mengakibatkan
tabrakan, terhadap fasilitas crusher, untuk
menghindarinya maka perhatikan:
5.7.12. Perhatikan area penumpahan di
crusher, terutama dari kemungkinan
adanya orang atau kendaraan ringan

move the unit straight forward, if

lower the dump body. Don’t lower the

mechanism of dump body, the
shedding area is usually dusty, so
maneuver truck must carry out slowly
and carefully. Good communication
with dozer and others truck can be
carry out by horn or lights signals
Spillage in the crusher could result in a
collision with the crusher facility, to avoid that,
so pay attention to:
5.7.12. Watch the shedding area in crusher,
especially existing people or others

5.7.13. Follow the procedure of shedding in
crusher that applicable, obey the traffic
rules, observe the guiding light in the
crusher
5.7.14. At the times backward, check both of

5.7.13. Ikuti prosedur penumpahan di crusher

unit, amati lampu penuntun di crusher.
5.7.14. Pada waktu mundur, periksa kedua
kaca spion dengan seksama, jangan
teruskan manuver jika terdapat
kendaraan ringan atau unit lain berada
di lajur manuver unit. Crusher
biasanya dilengkapi dengan stopping
block, atur posisi unit hingga tepat
tegak lurus stopping block.
5.7.15. Naikkan dump body cukup untuk
menumpahkan seluruh muatan,
setelah seluruh muatan ditumpahkan,
turunkan dump body sebelum
meninggalkan crusher.
5.7.16. Jika lokasi penumpahan kotor dan
perlu dibersihkan, beritahu operator
crusher atau pengawas
5.8. Parkir dan Manuver
5.8.1. Carilah tempat yang datar dan aman.
5.8.2. Saat manuver perhatikan bagian
belakang, terutama daerah blind spot
unit atau alat lain yang parkir atau
bangunan di kiri kanan unit.
5.8.3. Setelah berhenti sempurna dan lurus,
aktifkan rem parkir, biarkan mesin idle
±`5 menit dan matikan mesin, cabut
kunci kontak.
5.8.4. Jika parkir dilakukan tidak di lokasi
yang ditentukan (darurat) maka
tempatkan rambu darurat 25 meter di
depan dan belakang unit.
5.8.5. Lampu kecil harus dihidupkan.
5.9. Tangani Keadaan Darurat
5.9.1. Jika unit terguling, konsentrasikan
pada kemudi, jangan panik, jangan
mencoba melepas seat belt atau
melompat keluar dari kabin.
5.9.2. Jika mesin mati saat di tanjakan,

5.9.Handle emergency
5.9.1. If the unit rolled, focus on the rudder,
don’t be panic, don’t try to let go the
seat belt or jump out from cabin
5.9.2. If the engine off when inclined, activate
parking and emergency brake if the unit

kemiringan kecil (30 derajat) terhadap
bundwall.
5.9.3. Jika unit amblas pada HD, maju
sedikit, ayunkan mundur, maksimum
tiga kali, jika tidak berhasil minta
bantuan alat penarik lain.
5.9.4. Jika timbul api / asap, arahkan unit
ke tempat aman, jika mungkin,
aktifkan rem parkir dan rem darurat.
Identifikasi sumber api, jika nyala api
kecil dan tidak terlalu besar gunakan
APAR untuk memadamkan api dari
luar
5.9.5. Aktifkan segera sistem pemadam
otomatis jika tersedia.
5.9.6. Ikuti tata cara penanganan keadaan
darurat.
