Percepatan konstan
This result states that the velocity of a particle at some time t equals the
vector sum of its initial velocity vi and the additional velocity at acquired in
the time t as a result of constant acceleration.
Percepatan konstan
The parabolic path of a projectile that leaves the origin with a velocity vi . The
velocity vector v changes with time in both magnitude and direction. This change is
the result of acceleration in the negative y direction. The x component of velocity
remains constant in time because there is no acceleration along the horizontal
direction. The y component of velocity is zero at the peak of the path.
• What happens when several forces act simultaneously on an object? In this case, the object
accelerates only if the net force acting on it is not equal to zero.
• The net force acting on an object is defined as the vector sum of all forces acting on the object.
(We sometimes refer to the net force as the total force, the resultant force, or the unbalanced
force.)
• If the net force exerted on an object is zero, the acceleration of the object is zero and its
velocity remains constant.
• If the net force acting on the object is zero, the object either remains at rest or continues to
move with constant velocity.
• When the velocity of an object is constant (including when the object is at rest), the
• object is said to be in equilibrium.

Hukum Newton
Hukum Newton I
konstan.
F = 0 dan a = 0
Hukum Newton II
F = Ma
Hukum Newton III
F12 = - F21

Contoh
A hockey puck having a mass of 0.30 kg slides on the horizontal, frictionless surface
of an ice rink. Two hockey sticks strike the puck simultaneously, exerting the forces
on the puck shown in Figure . The force F1 has a magnitude of 5.0 N, and the force
F2 has a magnitude of 8.0 N. Determine both the magnitude and the direction of the
puck’s acceleration.

A traffic light weighing 122 N hangs from a cable tied to two other cables fastened to
a support, as in Figure 5.10a. The upper cables make angles of 37.0° and 53.0° with
the horizontal. These upper cables are not as strong as the vertical cable, and will
break if the tension in them exceeds 100 N. Will the traffic light remain hanging in
this situation, or will one of the cables break?

passes over a frictionless pulley of negligible mass. The block lies on a frictionless
incline of angle . Find the magnitude of the acceleration of the two objects and

Energi Potensial

The calculation becomes especially simple if the force acting on the
particle is constant.
In many physical situations, we shall use what is called the impulse approximation,
in which we assume that one of the forces exerted on a particle acts for a short
time but is much greater than any other force present.

Percepatan :
What we now require is a mathematical solution to Equation that is, a function x(t) that satisfies this
second-order differential equation. This is a mathematical representation of the position of the
particle as a function of time. We seek a function x(t) whose second derivative is the same as the
original function with a negative sign and multiplied by 2. The trigonometric functions sine and
cosine exhibit this behavior, so we can build a solution around one or both of these. The following
cosine function is a solution to the differential equation:

• The parameters A,, and are constants of the motion. In order to give physical significance
to these constants, it is convenient to form a graphical representation of the motion by
plotting x as a function of t.
• First, note that A, called the amplitude of the motion, is simply the maximum value of the
position of the particle in either the positive or negative x direction.
• The constant is called the angular frequency, and has units of rad/s. It is a measure of how
rapidly the oscillations are occurring—the more oscillations per unit time, the higher is the
value of .
• The angular frequency is

when the retarding force is small, the oscillatory character of the
motion is preserved but the amplitude decreases in time, with the
result that the motion ultimately ceases. Any system that behaves
in this way is known as a damped oscillator. The dashed blue lines
in Figure, which define the envelope of the oscillatory curve,
represent the exponential factor in Equation 15.32. This envelope
shows that the amplitude decays exponentially withtime.

Dinamika Fluida
1. Steady atau laminar, jika setiap partikel mengikuti lintasan licin sehingga lintasan
dari partikel yang berbeda tidak saling berpotongan. Aliran steady, kecapatan
2. Turbulent merupakan aliran irregular.
W.Widanarto
W. Widanarto Fisika Dasar I 103
Viskositas
