 ETIKA
Secara etimologi, kata etika berasal dari bahasa Yunani “Ethos” yang berarti adat;kebiasaan;
adab,;watak; kesusilaan. Sedangkan secara terminologi, etika adalah suatu ajaran yang
berbicara tentang baik dan buruknya yang menjadi ukuran baik buruknya atau dengan istilah
lain ajaran tentang kebaikan dan keburukan, yang menyangkut peri kehidupan manusia
dalam hubungannya dengan Tuhan, sesama manusia, dan alam.
 MORAL
Secara etimologi, kata moral berasal dari bahasa Latin“Mos” bentuk jamaknya “Mores”,
yang artinya adalah tata-cara atau adat-istiadat. Secara terminologi, suatu istilah yang
digunakan untuk menentukan batas-batas dari sifat, perangai, kehendak, pendapat atau
perbuatan yang secara layak dapat dikatakan benar, salah, baik atau buruk.
 AKHLAQ
Secara etimologi, kata akhlaq berasal dari bahasa Arab yang merupakan bentuk jamak dari
kata khuluqun (‫خ ٌـُق‬
‫ ) ُ ل‬yang berarti budi pekerti; perangai; watak; atau tabiat. Secara
terminologi, akhlak ialah sifat yang tertanam di dalam diri seorang manusia yang bisa
mengeluarkan sesuatu dengan senang dan mudah tanpa adanya suatu pemikiran dan paksaan.

 Al-Qur’an
Dan sesungguhnya Engkau (Muhammad) benar-benar berbudi pekerti yang luhur. (Q.S. Al-Qalam ayat 4)

 Hadits
Dari Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda, “Siapa saja yang
beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir, hendaklah ia berkata baik atau diam. Siapa saja yang beriman kepada
Allah dan hari akhir, hendaklah ia memuliakan tetangganya. Siapa saja yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari

 DALIL MORAL
 Al-Qur’an
Maka berkat rahmat Allah engkau (Muhammad) berlaku lemah lembut terhadap mereka. Sekiranya engkau
bersikap keras dan berhati kasar, tentulah mereka menjauhkan diri dari sekitarmu. Karena itu maafkanlah
mereka dan mohonkanlah ampunan untuk mereka, dan bermusyawarahlah dengan mereka dalam urusan itu.
Kemudian, apabila engkau telah membulatkan tekad, maka bertawakallah kepada Allah. Sungguh, Allah
mencintai orang yang bertawakal kepadanya. (Q.S. Al-Imran ayat 159)

 Hadits
“Nabi SAW bersabda saat haji wada’, ‘Maukah kalian kuberitahu pengertian mukmin? Mukmin adalah
orang yang memastikan dirinya memberi rasa aman untuk jiwa dan harta orang lain. Sementara muslim ialah
orang yang memastikan ucapan dan tindakannya tidak menyakiti orang lain. Sedangkan mujahid adalah
orang yang bersungguh-sungguh dalam keta’atan kepada Allah SWT. Sedangkan orang yang berhijrah
(muhajir) ialah orang yang meninggalkan kesalahan dan dosa.”

 Al-Qur’an
Sesungguhnya telah ada pada (diri) Rasulullah itu suri teladan yang baik bagimu (yaitu) bagi orang yang
mengharap (rahmat) Allah dan (kedatangan) hari kiamat dan dia banyak menyebut Allah.
(Q.S Al-Ahzab ayat 21)

 Hadits
Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda :
“Sesungguhnya di antara orang-orang yang paling aku cintai dan paling dekat tempat duduknya pada hari
kiamat denganku yaitu orang-orang yang paling baik akhlaknya.” (H.R. Tirmidzi)

Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda :

“Aku adalah penjamin sebuah rumah di sekitar taman (Surga) bagi seseorang yang meniggalkan perdebatan
walaupun ia benar, penjamin rumah ditengah Surga bagi orang yang meninggalkan dusta walaupun ia
bercanda, juga menjadi penjamin sebuah rumah di Surga paling atas bagi orang yang memiliki akhlak yang
baik.”
(H.R. Abu Dawud)
