 KENAKALAN REMAJA
Kenakalan remaja adalah semua perilaku yang menyimpang dari
norma-norma hukum pidana yang dilakukan oleh remaja. Perilaku tersebut
akan merugikan dirinya sendiri dan orang-orang di sekitarnya. Para ahli
pendidikan sependapat bahwa remaja adalah mereka yang berusia 13-18
tahun. Pada usia tersebut, seseorang sudah melampaui masa kanak-kanak,
namun masih belum cukup matang untuk dapat dikatakan dewasa. Ia berada
pada masa transisi. Masalah kenakalan remaja mulai mendapat perhatian
masyarakat secara khusus sejak terbentuknya peradilan untuk anak-anak
nakal (juvenile court) pada 1899 di illinois, amerika serikat.

atau penolakan terhadap eksistensi anak, bisa menjadi penyebab terjadinya kenakalan
remaja.

UPAYA MENGATASI KENAKALAN REMAJA
1. Kegagalan mencapai identitas peran dan lemahnya kontrol diri bisa dicegah atau
diatasi dengan prinsip keteladanan. Remaja harus bisa mendapatkan sebanyak
mungkin figur orang-orang dewasa yang telah melampaui masa remajanya dengan
baik juga mereka yang berhasil memperbaiki diri setelah sebelumnya gagal pada
tahap ini.
2. Adanya motivasi dari keluarga, guru, teman sebaya untuk melakukan point pertama.
3. Kemauan orang tua untuk membenahi kondisi keluarga sehingga tercipta keluarga
yang harmonis, komunikatif, dan nyaman bagi remaja.
4. Remaja dididik untuk pandai memilih teman dan lingkungan yang baik serta orang tua
memberi arahan dengan siapa dan di komunitas mana remaja harus bergaul.
5. Remaja membentuk ketahanan diri agar tidak mudah terpengaruh jika ternyata teman
sebaya atau komunitas yang ada tidak sesuai dengan harapan.

Stress pada Remaja
Masa remaja adalah masa transisi atau peralihan dari anak-anak menuju
dewasa yang di dalamnya mencakup kematangan mental,emosional,
sosial, dan juga fisik. Kepribadian remaja sangat ditentukan oleh faktor
lingkungan tempat dia tinggal, apakah mendukung dia menjadi pribadi
yang lebih baik atau bahkan sebaliknya.
 Faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan
emosi remaja:
• perubahan jasmani
• perubahan pola interaksi dengan orangtua
• perubahan pola interaksi dengan teman sebaya
• adanya perubahan pandangan luar
• perubahan interaksi dengan sekolah
• Stress merupakan perasaan yang dialami oleh seorang individu saat
menghadapi situasi yang tertekan. Salah satu faktor penyebab
tingkat stress anak remaja saat ini adalah karena mereka mengalami
kesulitan saat harus belajar di rumah akibat pandemi. Mereka
beranggapan bahwa dengan sistem daring ini, pembelajaran menjadi
kurang efektif untuk dilaksanakan.
• Dari survei yang dilakukan KPAI, sebanyak 79,9 % anak
berpendapat bahwa interaksi berkurang dan guru hanya memberikan
tugas berat saja sehingga anak mengalami peningkatan stress dan
20,1 % yang menganggap adanya interaksi dalam proses
pembelajaran.
• Menurut WHO, stress yang muncul selama masa pandemi COVID-19 bisa
berupa rasa takut dan cemas mengenai kesehatan diri dan kesehatan
orang terdekatnya, pola tidur/pola makan berubah, sulit berkonsentrasi,
hingga menggunakan obat-obatan/ narkoba.
• Berbagai bentuk perubahan yang terjadi saat ini akibat COVID-19
berdampak pada segala aspek bagi perkembangan remaja seperti
menjalankan kelas online/daring, tidak bisa bertemu teman-temannya
untuk sementara waktu, bermain, lebih sering bermain gadget, adanya
perubahan dalam rutinitas orangtuanya yang bekerja di rumah (WFH)
juga mempengaruhi keseharian anak-anak remaja.
Self Talk adalah salah satu teknik yang
termasuk ke dalam terapi kognitif. SelfTalk
adalah dialog individu pada dirinya sendiri
dimana menafsirkan perasaan dan
persepsinya,serta mengatur dan mengubah
keyakinannya serta juga memberikan intruksi
dan penguatan bagi dirinya. Self Talk

self talk positif akan memunculkan self talk negatif merupakan

emosi yang positif dengan cara pernyataan irasional individu
memerintahkan dirinya sendiri yang menyebabkan emosinya
untuk bersikap konstruktif terganggu
• Self talk negatif akan mempengaruhi seseorang menjadi diri yang
pesimis,tidak percaya diri, dan sifat lainnya yang tidak mengubahnya
menjadi
pribadi yang baik. Kata-kata yang termasuk self talk negatif misalnya,

“aku bodoh!”, “aku tidak bisa melakukan ini”, “aku takut”, dsb.
• Sedangkan, self talk positif adalah perkataan dalam diri seseorang
yang bisa membantunya untuk tenang saat menghadapi suatu keadaan.
Perkataan tersebut akan meningkatkan kepercayaan dirinya sehingga
tidak akan memperburuk situasi. Bentuk pernyataannya misalnya,
“aku bisa!”, “aku harus semangat!”, aku berani!”, dan kata-kata
penyemangat lainnya yang bisa mendukung kondisi mentalnya tetap
stabil.
1. Tahapan pertama : tahap ini, remaja akan
dibantu untuk bisa memahami mengapa
pemikirannya menjadi irasional dan
bagaimana dia bisa menjadi irasional.
2. Tahap kedua : bentuk pikiran mereka yang
negatif dapat dirubah dan diperbaiki
menjadi pikiran yang positif. Anak akan
diajarkan untuk bisa membedakan pikiran
irasionalnya menggunakan pernyataan
positif tersebut yang untuk menentukan
tujuan rasionalnya.
3. Tahap kedtiga : terus mengembangkan
pikiran-pikiran rasionalnya dengan kalimat
yang lebih positif sehingga mereka tidak lagi
terjebak dengan pikiran negatifnya sendiri.
Pada tahap terakhir, anak akan terus
melatih diri untuk semakin berpikiran positif
dan mengontrol pikiran irasionalnya agar
tidak mengganggu kehidupan
