● Kepemilikan dapat juga diartikan dengan hak milik, dan dalam bahasa Arab disebut
sebagai haq mali, yaitu hak-hak yang terkait kehartaan dan manfaat, atau
penguasaan terhadap sesuatu yang dimiliki (harta)
● Kepemilikan merupakan salah satu dari karakteristik (ciri khas) kebebasan yang
dimiliki Islam. Islam mengakui adanya kepemilikan individu karena Islam adalah
agama yang menghargai fitrah, kemerdekaan dan kemanusiaan.

Divide ownership into three:
1. Individual ownership (al-milkiyah al-fardiyah) such as: work work, inheritance, grants,
gifts.
2. Public Ownership (al-milkiyah al-'âmmah) such as: public facilities, mining materials
and natural resources whose nature prevents them from being owned by individuals.
3. State ownership (al-milkiyah ad-dawlah) is the property of all Muslims, while its
management is the authority and mandate of the state, so that the state can use it for the
benefit of its people.
