 Latar Belakang
• Badan pusat statistik (2016) : Terjadi penurunan produksi
selada pada tahun 2015
• Impor selada pada tahun 2015 sebesar 21,1 ton

• Upaya peningkatan produksi selada dengan hidroponik

sebagai alternatif dari kurangnya lahan akibat alih fungsi.

• Bawang merah mengandung auksin dan giberelin yang

dapat memicu pertumbuhan selada merah secara
optimal.

• Setiap media tanam memiliki daya ikat nutrisi dan ruang

pori berbeda, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi sistem
metabolisme tanaman.
 RUMUSAN MASALAH
1. Bagaimana interaksi antara konsentrasi ZPT bawang merah dan

macam media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman
selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa) dengan sistem
hidroponik substrat ?
2. Bagaimana pengaruh konsentrasi ZPT bawang merah terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa)
dengan sistem hidroponik substrat ?
3. Media tanam manakah yang memberikan pengaruh terbaik
terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa L.
Var crispa) dengan sistem hidroponik substrat ?

TUJUAN

02 1. Untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya interaksi antara konsentrasi

ZPT bawang merah dan media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan
hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa).
2. Untuk mengetahui konsentrasi terbaik ZPT bawang merah
terhadap ….hasil dan pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah
(Lactuca sativa L. …Var crispa).
3. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan
dan hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa).
 MANFAAT.

Manfaat dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan
pengetahuan mengenai konsentrasi ZPT bawang merah dan media tanam
terbaik, sehingga ke depannya dapat diimplementasikan dalam
melakukan budidaya selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa) oleh
petani dalam mengoptimalkan produksi selada merah (Lactuca sativa L.
Var crispa).
HIPOTESIS

04 1. Diduga terjadi interaksi antara media tanam dan ZPT bawang merah terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. Var crispa).
2. Diduga semakin tinggi konsentrasi ZPT bawang merah memberikan pengaruh
semakin tinggi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada merah (Lactuca sativa
L. Var crispa).
3. Diduga pemberian ZPT bawang merah pada media tanam berbeda (Lactuca
sativa L. Var crispa) berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada
merah.
 Tempat dan Waktu Rancangan Penelitian

Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di Rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan adalah

greenhouse yang berada di desa Oro – Oro Ombo, rancangan rancangan petak terbagi (RPT) / Split Plot
Design dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL).
Batu, Malang, dengan waktu mulai pada bulan
Maret sampai dengan bulan Mei 2021 Petak utama adalah konsentrasi ekstrak bawang
merah yang terdiri atas :

P0 = Konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 0 %
Alat
P1 = Konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 50 %
Rangkaian instalasi hidroponik DFT, netpot, TDS P2 = Konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 70 %
P3 = Konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 90 %
meter, pH meter, pompa air, blender, kain, timbangan
analitik, gelas ukur, cutter, bak air, bak semaian, laptop, Anak petak adalah macam media substrat yang meliputi :
dan alat tulis.
M1 = Media substrat cocopeat
Bahan M2 = Media substrat moss
M3 = Media substrat rockwool
Rockwool, cocopeat, moss, air, nutrisi AB mix,
benih selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. var. Crispa),
bawang merah, H₃PO₄.
