SIMPLE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
Grammar
The present continuous tense is used to talk about events/ happenings that are being done at the
moment ( at the time we speak) or at the certain moments.
The sentence pattern is
Subject + to be + V-1 ing + Object/Adverb
= positive form
Subject + to be + not + V1 ing + Object/Adverb
= negative form
To be + subject + V-1 ing + Object/Adverb
= interrogative form
Adverb of time are : now, this time, at the moment, at present, this semester, this week, etc.
For example :

Keep all miniature SIM cards out or the reach of small children
The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful
when handling, inserting or removing the card.
Before installing the SIM card, always make sure that the phone is switched off and you can
then remove the battery.
With the back of the phone facing you, press the release button. Slide and lift the back cover off
the phone in the direction of the arrows.
Lift the battery out of the phone, the bottom part first.
Insert the SIM card into the phone. Make sure that the SIM card is positioned correctly and that
the golden contact area on the card is facing downwards.
Replace the battery.
Replace the back cover. Make sure that the locking catches on the sides of the covers go in the
notches on the phone.
