ABSTRAK Lego
Kecemasan yang muncul pada anak dapat dikurangi dengan diberikan terapi bermain
pada saat perawatan dirumah sakit. Pemilihan lego sebagai salah satu permainan edukatif
karena dapat berperan dalam kecerdasan dan motorik halus anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain lego terhadap penurunan tingkat
kecemasan hospitalisasi pada anak usia prasekolah (3-6 tahun) di Ruang Anak RSUD
Blambangan Banyuwangi.
Desain penelitian menggunakan desain pre experimental one group pre-post test.
Yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh terapi bermain lego terhadap penurunan
tingkat kecemasan hospitalisasi pada anak usia prasekolah (3-6 tahun) di ruang anak.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien anak usia (3-6 tahun) yang dirawat inap. Sampel
sejumlah 28 anak dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data diperoleh dari lembar observasi,
kemudian dilakukan scoring, tabulating, dan uji statistik menggunakan frank wilcoxon
denagn p value < 0,05.
Anxiety that appears in children can be reduced by given play therapy at the time of
hospital treatment. The selection of lego as one of the educative game because it can play a
role in intelligence and fine motor child. The purpose of this study was to determine the
effect of lego playing therapy on the decrease of hospitalization anxiety level in preschool
children (3-6 years) in Children Room of RSUD Blambangan Banyuwangi.
The research design used pre experimental one group pre-post test. It aims to identify
the effect of lego playing therapy on decreasing anxiety levels of hospitalization in
preschoolers (3-6 years) in the child's room. The population in this study were patients aged
(3-6 years) who were hospitalized. A sample of 28 children with consecutive sampling
technique. Data obtained from the observation sheet, then performed scoring, tabulating, and
statistical tests using frank wilcoxon denagn p value <0.05.
The results showed that all preschool-age children in the children's room prior to play
therapy experienced moderate anxiety level of 12 children (43%) and after playing therapy
experienced a mild anxiety level of 22 children (79%). Based on Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test
results, it is known that there is influence of play therapy lego to decrease hospitalization
anxiety level in preschool children (3-6 years) because p value smaller dadi 0.05 0.000. Thus
it can be deduced that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.
Provision of lego playing therapy can be applied as one of the interventions that make
it easier for health workers to perform their duties for children in the hospital. So the child
still feel happy like the atmosphere at home and the impact of hospitalization can be
prevented.
