BAB I
PENDAHULUAN
fi=fi….(1.1)
Semakin tinggi massa
jenis suatu benda,maka semkain besar pula massa setiap molekulnya. (Chemurgy,
2017)
Dengan rumus: ρ=m/v
Ket: ρ = Massa jenis (kg/m³)
M = massa (kg)
V = volume (m³)
Viskositas cairan : Persamaan Poiseuille
F=η A x v /L
V :volumecairan
η: viskositas cairan
t : waktu
r : jari-jari tabung kapiler denganpanjang L
P : tekanan
ΔTb=m .kb
Dimana: ∆Tb= kenaikan titik didih
m=molalitaslarutan
Kb= konstanta titikbekupelarut

5.1. Suitable (and unsuitable) extinguishingmedia
Suitable extinguishing media : Quick-acting ABC powder extinguisher. Quick-acting BC powder extinguisher. Quick-acting class
B foam extinguisher. Quick-acting CO2 extinguisher. Class B foam (alcohol-resistant). Water spray
if puddle cannot expand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Water (quick-acting extinguisher, reel); risk of puddle expansion. Water; risk of puddle
expansion.
5.2. Specific hazards arising from the chemical
Fire hazard : DIRECT FIRE HAZARD. Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Gas/vapor flammable with air
within explosion limits. INDIRECT FIRE HAZARD. May be ignited by sparks.
Explosion hazard : DIRECT EXPLOSION HAZARD. Gas/vapour explosive with air within explosion limits.
INDIRECT EXPLOSION HAZARD. may be ignited by sparks. Reactions with explosion
hazards: see "Reactivity Hazard".
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire : Upon combustion: CO and CO2 are formed.
Protection during firefighting : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
6.2. Environmentalprecautions
Prevent soil and water pollution. Prevent spreading in sewers.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaningup
For containment : Contain released substance, pump into suitable containers. Plug the leak, cut off the supply. Dam up
the liquid spill. Try to reduce evaporation. Measure the concentration of the explosive gas-air mixture.
Dilute combustible/toxic gases/vapours with water spray. Take account of toxic/corrosive precipitation
water. Provide equipment/receptacles with earthing. Do not use compressed air for pumping over
spills.
Methods for cleaning up : Take up liquid spill into a non combustible material e.g.: sand, earth, vermiculite slaked lime or soda
ash. Scoop absorbed substance into closing containers. Carefully collect the spill/leftovers.
Damaged/cooled tanks must be emptied. Do not use compressed air for pumping over spills. Clean
contaminated surfaces with an excess of water. Take collected spill
to manufacturer/competent authority. Wash clothing and equipment after handling.
