Deskripsi Mata : As the name suggests, Intensive Reading Course focuses on reading texts intensively i.e. thoroughly with clear goals, e.g. answering
Kuliah comprehension questions, studying the vocabulary, and learning subject matter. The instruction in this IR course focuses on both
understanding the content and on reading strategies/ skills. Metacognition on the strategies is nurtured.
To enhance reading fluency, students taking this course are encouraged to take Readtheory exercises as an outclass activity. At the
end of the semester the students should submit a short video explaining a reading strategy/ skill and the sample of application.
Adjustment and/ or variation of topic/ readings/ activities may be found in different classes.
