PERSONAL PROTECTIVE
EQUIPMENT
WEEK 3

1. Semua karyawan harus membiasakan diri mereka dengan penggunaan peralatan keselamatan kerja
All employees have to familiarize themselves with, where and how safety equipment is to be used.
2. Seluruh tempat kerja adalah daerah wajib menggunakan helm dan kaca mata keselamatan kerja.
Kacamata keselamatan harus dilengkapi dengan perisai samping.
The entire site is a hard hat and safety spectacle area. Safety spectacles to be fitted with side
shields.
3. Alat pelindung mata dan wajah harus digunakan untuk semua pekerjaan dimana dapat timbul cedera
pada mata atau wajah.
Eye and face protective system must be used for all operations where there exist the potential for eye
or face injury.
4. Sepatu bot kulit yang kuat dan mempunyai pelindung mpada untuk jari kaki harus selalu dipakai.
Sturdy leather work boots are to be worn at all time.
5. Semua pekerja harus melapor kepada supervisornya bila Alat Pelindung Dirinya rusak atau hilang.
Workers must report lost or damaged Personal Protective Equipment to their supervisor.
6. Pelindung pendengaran yang layak dan telah disetujui harus disediakan oleh subkontaktor dan digunakan
oleh semua pekerja ditempat yang tingkat kebisingannya sama dengan atau lebih dari 85 dBA.
Suitable and approved bearing protection must be provided by subcontractor and worn by employees
enganged in activities where the noise level equals or exceed 85 dBA.
7. Celana panjang harus dipakai setiap saat. Tidak diperbolehkan memakai kemeja tanpa lengan, lengan baju
harus menutupi kedua bahu.
Long pants must be worn at all times. Shirts without sleeves are not permitted, sleeves must cover over
the shoulders.
8. Pelindung pernapasan harus disediakan oleh subkontraktor ditempat dimana terjadi kemungkinan
terhirupnya gas atau uap beracun oleh pekerja.
Where there exist the potential for inhalation of toxic vapours or gases by any employee, the
subcontractor must provide respiratory protection.
9. Sabuk pengaman juga wajib digunakan untuk pekerjaan yang dilakukan pada ketinggian 2 meter diatas
permukaan tanah, kecuali jika pekerjaan tersebut dilakukan diatas platform kerja yang aman atau
disediakan alat pelindung jatuh lainnya.
The use of safety belts is mandatory for any work being carried out 2 meters above ground level, unless
work is being carried out from a safe, work platform or alternative fall protection is provided.
10. Subkontraktor harus menyediakan sarung tangan untuk semua pekerja yang bekerja ditempat yang
mengandung resiko cedera pada tangan.
Subcontractors are to provide suitable hand protection for all employees enganged in activities where
injuries to hands can occur.
11. Semua karyawan tidak diperbolehkan memulai pekerjaan sebelum mengenakan alat pelindung diri yang
memadai.
Employees shall not commence work until proper protective equipment is worn.
12. Subkontraktor bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan pelatihan pemakaian dan perawatan yang benar
untuk alat pelindung diri kepada karyawannya.
Subcontractors shall be responsible to train their employees on the correct use and maintenance of
personal protective equipment.

Bila hal tersebut diatas tidak dilaksanakan maka Departemen Keselamatan Kerja (Safety) akan mencatat
nama dan nomer pegawai anda dan menyerahkan kepada pihak managemen untuk diambil tindakan
disipliner.

and Submit it to management for disciplinary action.
