I spent my last summer holiday in Seoul, South Korea. I went there with my friends.

went to Seoul by train and checked in to the hotel I already booked. I decided to take a rest for a
while. At night, I went to Hongdae, a famous district in South Korea. I went to eat traditional
Korean food. On the next day, I went to the Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Museum. I also
went to learn how to make Kimchi and see the scenery of Seoul from Seoul Tower. I went back to the
hotel at 10 PM and immediately went to sleep.
I spent my last day in Myeongdong and bought some stuffs and souvenirs for my family and
friends. I also ate the street food there. I went to the airport at 3 PM because my flight was at 5 PM.
I had a fantastic experience in South Korea and made wonderful memory with my friends. It was a
great trip.

Visiting My Village
Last month, I and my family went to Banyumas which was located in Central Java, Indonesia. We
drove a car. I enjoyed the journey all day long although it took 2 days to get there. We were fun, my
brother made some jokes all day. My father told us some stories on the way. My mother slept in the
back seat.
My first day in my village, I visited my siblings and friends. We are welcomed with happiness.
When I saw my parents, they cried because they looked so happy to meet up their families. The next
day, I, my brother, my cousin and my nephew went to a popular place in Purwokerto. It was called
“Baturaden”. That was a favorite spot in Purwokerto. We enjoyed local specialty food as a culinary.
I was satisfied and so were they. Next, I took a photo with traditional music musicians.
My brother, my cousin and my nephew enjoy the view of other visitors. They took a photo with
their style as I did. In the evening, we were back home. And did other private activities, such as
made a conversation, told the story and made a joke.
The day after tomorrow, my cousin had a ceremony to say thanks to God for blessing their son. It
was called “Nazar”. When the parents had a promise for something and it was realized. They had to
make a traditional ceremony. I watched that traditional ceremony and took their photograph.
For the last show, we were entertained by “Ebeg”. It was traditional art. The player danced through
traditional music and they were handled by the spirit. It was scary, but it was fun and entertaining.
Time run so fast because the next day was our last day in the village. So I took the last photo to
bring it home. They were my family and still family until the last breath in this world.
Finally, we had to go home and brought a love experience from family. Yaps… that was the hardest
part.

On the third day, I went to the Korean Demilitarized Zone or DMZ. DMZ is a
border barrier that divides South Korea and North Korea. I also went to Dora
Observatory. From here, we can see how North Korea look like through binoculars.
I spent the 4th day walking around Myeondong and buy some stuff and souvenirs
for my family and friends. I went to the airport at 3 PM since my flight is at 5 PM.
I have a fantastic experience in South Korea, especially get to see directly how the
Korean Peninsula is. It's a great trip.

Spiderman
I was dreaming of being super hero when I was a teenager. I imagined myself as
Spiderman.
One day, when I was fishing at the river I was bitten by a spider and luckily I was not dying.
At first I felt cold for 24 hours and I was alone in my room. Nobody knew about it. I didn’t tell
my family because I was afraid they would angry with me. After that, something had happened
in my body and I still did not recognize it. I lived as I did usually, went to school, go home,
eating, doing some activities and so on.
I realized at the first time that I had a superpower was when I was getting an accident. I rode
a motor cycle and suddenly there was a bus crashed me. I bounced out of the road and my motor
cycle was totally broken. But at that case, I did not feel any hurt. There was no blood out of my
body. I was angry at that time because the bus did not stop and escaped. I run after it and I
didn’t know why I could run so fast and jump so high.
I jumped to the back of the bus and climbed it like a spider. I went to the front, stooped the
bus and took the driver out of the bus door. I knew that I was no more normal human being. I
did nothing more to the bus driver. I went back home and decided the next action to do after
that.I did nothing like the Spiderman at the movie that help people to catch the criminals. I was
an opportunist super hero. I was afraid of killing people so that I hide my power from anybody
else. I used my power only when I or my family and friends got into dangerous.

The Proclamation of Indonesian Independence was read at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, 17 August
1945.
The declaration marked the start of the diplomatic and armed resistance of the Indonesian
National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians, until the
latter officially acknowledged Indonesia’s independence in 1949. The Netherlands declared that they
had decided to accept de facto 17 August 1945 as Indonesia’s independence date. The United
Nations, who mediated in the conflict, formally acknowledge the date of independence as 27

The document was signed by Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta, who were appointed president and
vice-president respectively the following day.

Holiday at Home
Last thursday was my day off. I didn’t go anywhere. I just stay at home for two weeks to did the
same activities routinely, over and over again. I felt that was the worst day I have ever passed.
I woke up earlier and did subuh prayer. After that, I had breakfast with my family in the
morning. At 08.00 am, I turned on computer and played many games. Not felt, it was 10.00 o’clock,
I rushed to take a bath to freshen my body.Then, I watched my favorite TV programs until it almost
midday. At 01.00 pm, I went to bathroom to ablution and immediately did zuhur prayer. Then, I had
lunch and helped my mother to clean the house.Because I was tired, I felt asleep on the couch.
Unexpectedly, after waking up I had a guest who could cheer me up, my aunt came with her child. I
kept playing with my nieces until nightfall.
Although just a home holiday, at least to refresh my mind from the routine activities in the
office.
