PROSEDUR HELIKOPTER BANDARA SUPADIO PONTIANAK
1. INTRODUCTION.
 Aerodrome Control Service, Flight Information Service and Alerting Service is provided by Supadio Aerodrome
Control Tower (Supadio TWR) for arriving, departing and over flying helicopter within Supadio vicinity of
aerodrome. Outside Supadio vicinity of aerodrome within Pontianak Control Zone will be provided with
Approach Control Service, Flight Information Service and Alerting Service is provided by Pontianak Radar

 Helicopter Aiming Point on Supadio Airport on taxiway Alpha coordinate 00°08‘’39.15"S 109°24‘ 6.87"E

 Helicopter Entry and Holding Point on Supadio Airport as follows:

a. AMBANG with coordinates 00°07'39.28"S 109°25'29.26"E at distance 4.2 NM on radial 140º from ‘PNK’ VOR/DME .
b. TELUK with coordinates 00°09'17.23"S 109°25'51.07"E at distance 5.6 NM on radial 143º from ‘PNK’ VOR/DME.
c. RAYAN with coordinates 00°08'55.96"S 109°22'23.08"E at distance 4.2 NM on radial 181º from ‘PNK’ VOR/DME .

d. ESEMPE with coordinates 00°10'22.21"S 109°22'59.72"E at distance 5.6 NM on radial 175º from ‘PNK’ VOR/DME.

2. Departure Procedure.

a. Start-up clearance shall be issued by Supadio Tower on frequency 118.3/122.35 (SRY) MHz to helicopter on its
parking stand for all the purpose.
b. Upon request taxi clearance will be given by Supadio Tower to take- off position via:
- Air Taxi to Aiming Point, or
- Ground taxi (wheeled helicopter) to Runway Via Instructed Taxiway.
c. Take-off direction shall be suitable to runway in use, expect other direction requested by pilot and traffic
permitted.
d. Turn after take-off shall be made in accordance with the helicopter traffic circuit established for Supadio
airport. Take– off to the east destination shall be clearance using east helicopter traffic circuit and take -off to
the west destination shall be cleared using west helicopter traffic circuit (see attachment B).
e. Departure Helicopter within Pontianak Control Zone (radius 30 Nm from PNK VOR/DME) shall have taken
off approval given by Pontianak Radar on freq 119.0 123.0 (SRY) Mhz.Prior to departure shall inform to
Pontianak APP :
- Point of Departure and time
- intended altitude
- Destination
- Estimate time
- or any other pertinent information.
DEPARTURE HELICOPTER PROCEDURE
2. Departure Procedure.
f. Departure Helicopter within Supadio Tower shall have take off approval given by Supadio Tower on freq
118.3/122.35(SRY) Mhz. Prior to departure shall inform to Supadio Tower :
- Point of Departure and time
- intended altitude
- Destination
- Estimate time
- or any other pertinent information.
After departure Climb to circuit altitude, join to Helicopter Traffic Pattern / Circuit (if destination to
Supadio Airport) or as instructed by ATC.
g. Departure Helicopter within Jakarta Sector shall have taken off approval given by Pontianak Sector on freq
2851 Khz or see detail on AIP ENR 2. Prior to departure shall inform to Pontianak Sector :
- Point of Departure and time
- intended altitude
- Destination
- Estimate time
- or any other pertinent information.

• Departure Procedures from Supadio Airport using
Aiming Point Take off Direction Runway15 :
• Departing Helicopter to Northwest area, ESEMPE and
BINAR. After takeoff turn Right climb and maintain
altitude 500 feet to ESEMPE then proceed and
maintain altitude 1000 feet to BINAR, after BINAR
continued climb to intended altitude to destination
area or subject to ATC Clearance.
• Departing Helicopter to Northeast area, TELUK and
PUNDI. After takeoff turn Left climb and maintain
altitude 500 feet to TELUK then proceed and maintain
altitude 1000 feet to PUNDI, after PUNDI continued
climb to intended altitude to destination area or
subject to ATC Clearance.
• Departing Helicopter to Southwest area, RASAU. After
takeoff turn Right climb and maintain altitude 1000
feet to RASAU, after RASAU continued climb to
intended altitude to destination area or subject to ATC
Clearance.
• Departing Helicopter to Southeast area, RADAN. After
takeoff turn left climb and maintain altitude 1000 feet
to RADAN after RADAN continued climb to intended
altitude to destination area or subject to ATC
Clearance.

Departure Procedures from Supadio Airport using Aiming Point
Take off Direction runway 33:

1) Departing Helicopter to Northwest area, BINAR. After


takeoff turn left climb and maintain altitude 1000 feet
proceed to BINAR, after BINAR continued climb to
intended altitude to destination area or subject to ATC
Clearance.

2) Departing Helicopter to Northeast area, PUNDI. After


takeoff turn right climb and maintain altitude 1000 feet
proceed to PUNDI, after PUNDI continued climb to
intended altitude to destination area or subject to ATC
Clearance.

3) Departing Helicopter to Southwest area, RAYAN and


RASAU. After takeoff turn left climb and maintain altitude
500 feet to RAYAN then proceed and maintain altitude
1000 feet proceed to RASAU, after RASAU continued
climb to intended altitude to destination area or subject to
ATC Clearance.

4) Departing Helicopter to Southeast area, AMBANG and


RADAN, after takeoff turn right climb and maintain
altitude 500 feet to AMBANG then proceed and maintain
altitude 1000 feet proceed to RADAN after RADAN
continued climb to intended altitude to destination area or
subject to ATC Clearance.

RADIO FAILURE & EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
4. Radio Failure Procedure.
1. In the even of radio failure occurs, if Helicopter on the ground, shall not be cleared to depart.

2. If radio failure occurs while Helicopter in the air shall land at most suitable Helipad, Airstrip or Any Open Area, then send arrival
message to appropriate ATS Unit as soon as possible through the available telecommunication facilities.

3. Arriving helicopter traffic at Airport of Supadio from Northwest, Southwest shall follow Arrival Procedures, proceed to Helicopter
Entry / Holding Point RAYAN for runway 15 and ESEMPE for runway 33 , 1000 feet or below, observed traffics at the traffic circuit
then join the helicopter traffic pattern and orbiting, until clearance will be obtained by means of the appropriate light signal.

4. Arriving helicopter traffic at Airport of Supadio from Northeast, southeast shall followed Arrival Procedures, proceed to Helicopter
Entry / Holding Point AMBANG for runway 15 and TELUK for runway 33,1000 feet or below, observed traffics at the traffic circuit
then join the helicopter traffic pattern and orbiting, until clearance will be obtained by means of the appropriate light signal.

5. Emergency Procedure.

a. Helicopter known or believed to be in state of emergency, including being subjected to unlawful interference, shall be given priority over
other aircraft.
b. Whenever there is any indication of the occurrence of unlawful interference with a Helicopter, should be handled in accordance with the
procedures contained in ICAO Doc.4444-ATM/501 Procedures for Air Navigation Services Air Traffic management
