ABSTRACT
An umbrella is a holding object that is used to prevent rain from flushing one's body. It is also used to
create shadows and prevent sun exposure. Direct sun radiation can cause damage to human skin if exposed for
too long, so the need for the role of an umbrella for us. With technology we can create smart umbrella
innovations that can fly automatically over us by connecting umbrellas to mobile phones through a network that
can be accessed with platforms on Android. Smart umbrella is equipped with an electronic device where there is
a control system in it. This device is equipped with an input in the form of a sensor that is processed with a
control system, and the output is in the form of a fan movement that functions to fly following us. This umbrella
is an innovation that is useful to protect us from hot weather but not for rainy weather. When the flying umbrella
you want to use needs to be activated first then the device is connected to the application on the handphone so
that the umbrella can follow the user and can be controlled by the user.
