Diabetes
normal. Penyebab kenaikan darah gula darah tersebut menjadi landasan
pengelompokkan jenis Diabetes Melitus.

menghindari kemungkinan sakit ginjal.
Saat kerusakan ginjal terjadi, perlu tau cara bagaiman menanganinya agar keadaan
tidak memburuk dan kerusakan dapat diperbaiki. Twerdapat lima stadiu, lerusakan

Eka Yudha Chrisanto et al, (2020), Penyuluhan manfaat buah naga merah

COVID-19 pneumonia is a newly recognized illness that is spreading rapidly around the world and causes many disability
and deaths. Some diseases, for instance diabetes, is continuously suggested as a risk factor which contributes to the
severity and mortality of COVID-19. However, to date, there are no comprehensive studies aiming to explain the exact
relationship between diabetes and COVID-19. Thus, this study aims to summarize the evidence about diabetes and COVID-
19 outbreak through a systematic review and meta-analysis approach. The results of this study show that diabetes is a risk
factor – and contributes to the severity and mortality of patients with COVID-19. This paper also provides recommendations
and guidelines for which could be useful for prevention and treatment of diabetic patients affected by COVID-19.

The comorbidity of mental and physical disorders is a major challenge for health care worldwide. Its prevalence is increasing
and is likely to continue to grow due to the increase in life expectancy and a variety of other reasons. The comorbidity of
depression and diabetes can be seen as a prototypical example of mental/physical comorbidity. The prevalence of both
conditions is growing, and depression is twice as frequent in people with diabetes compared with those without diabetes.
Health services are by and large inadequately prepared to deal with comorbid depression and diabetes, and the increasing
specialization (and fragmentation) of medicine will probably make things worse. This paper reviews the epidemiology and
risk factors of the comorbidity of depression and diabetes and describes areas that should be given attention in order to
reduce problems arising as a result of the comorbidity of these two conditions.

Abstrak
Diabetes is one of the fastest growing diseases worldwide, projected to affect 693 million adults by 2045. Devastating
macrovascular complications (cardiovascular disease) and microvascular complications (such as diabetic kidney disease,
diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy) lead to increased mortality, blindness, kidney failure and an overall decreased quality of
life in individuals with diabetes. Clinical risk factors and glycaemic control alone cannot predict the development of vascular
complications; numerous genetic studies have demonstrated a clear genetic component to both diabetes and its
complications. Early research aimed at identifying genetic determinants of diabetes complications relied on familial linkage
analysis suited to strong-effect loci, candidate gene studies prone to false positives, and underpowered genome-wide
association studies limited by sample size. The explosion of new genomic datasets, both in terms of biobanks and
aggregation of worldwide cohorts, has more than doubled the number of genetic discoveries for both diabetes and diabetes
complications. We focus herein on genetic discoveries for diabetes and diabetes complications, empowered primarily
through genome-wide association studies, and emphasize the gaps in research for taking genomic discovery to the next
level.
