• Quality of conformance is the ability of a product, service, or
process to meet its design specifications. Design
specifications are an interpretation of what the customer
needs. Of course, a product having high quality of
conformance may still not be perceived by a customer as
being an acceptable product if the person who created the
design specifications did not correctly interpret what the
customer wanted.
• Kualitas kesesuaian adalah kemampuan suatu produk,
layanan, atau proses untuk memenuhi spesifikasi desainnya.
Spesifikasi desain merupakan interpretasi dari apa yang
dibutuhkan pelanggan. Tentu saja, produk yang memiliki
kualitas kesesuaian yang tinggi mungkin masih belum
dirasakan oleh pelanggan sebagai produk yang dapat
diterima jika orang yang membuat spesifikasi desain tidak
menafsirkan dengan tepat apa yang diinginkan pelanggan.
• Quality control (QC) is the process of detecting mistakes in
the production of products and delivery of services. It is a
process of ensuring that things meet their function
requirements, non-functional requirements and detailed
specifications. Quality control may test every product
produced and every service interaction. Alternatively, quality
control may test representative samples. The following are
common quality control terms.
• Kontrol kualitas adalah proses mendeteksi kesalahan dalam
produksi dan penyampaian layanan. Ini adalah proses untuk
memastikan bahwa hal-hal yang berkaitan memenuhi
persyaratan fungsinya, persyaratan non-fungsional dan
spesifikasi rinci. Kontrol kualitas dapat menguji setiap produk

• Quality assurance (QA) is the end-to-end
process of preventing mistakes in products and
services. This may encompass areas such as
organizational structure, processes, systems,
design, reliability engineering and human factors.
The following are common quality assurance
techniques and considerations.

conformance. If the vehicle were to have an
oversized engine that provides more torque
than necessary, it would have a low quality of
conformance, because including such an
engine would increase the price of the truck
and result in lower fuel economy.
• Manufacturing
A bicycle tire manufacturer tests every unit off a production line. When a
problem is found, it is escalated to quality assurance teams who investigate
and address the root cause of the nonconformance.
• Telecom
telecom company performs quality control with network testing tools that
evaluate quality factors such as latency. When an issue it found it is
escalated to incident management. Quality assurance teams follow up on
incidents to address persistent problems.
• Maintenance
A high speed train maintenance team performs quality control inspections of all
work to confirm it complies with maintenance procedures.
• Software
A software-as-a-service provider monitors services to ensure conformance
to service level agreements. Violations of SLA are escalated to service
management processes. The process of service management is monitored
by a quality assurance team that looks at overall process improvements.

memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut:

•Keseragaman mutu produk dari waktu ke
waktu· Untuk memperlancar pemasaran
•Memberi pedoman mutu kepada semua pihak
yang terlibat dengan komoditi

• What is the difference between the concepts
of design quality and conformance quality?
Quality of design is the quality which the producer or supplier is
intending to offer to the customer. When the producer is making the
quality of design of the product, he should take into consideration
the customer's requirements in order to satisfy them with fitness for
use of the product.

Quality of conformance is the level of the quality of product actually


produced and delivered through the production or service process
of the organization as per the specifications or design. When the
quality of a product entirely conforms to the specification (design),
the quality of conformance is deemed excellent.
