PENGERTIAN LINGKUNGAN
Secara sederhana, lingkungan adalah segala
sesuatu yang berada di sekitar kita, baik berupa
komponen biotik maupun komponen abiotik.
Kemudian, lingkungan yang terdiri dari sesama
manusia disebut lingkunan sosial, di
lingkungan inilah manusia berinteraksi satu
sama lain sehingga bisa membentuk
kepribadian seseorang.

PENGERTIAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP

Menurut UU No. 23 Tahun 1997, lingkungan hidup
adalah kesatuan ruang dengan semua benda dan
kesatuan makhluk hidup termaksuk di dalamnya
manusia dan perilakunya yang melangsungkan
perikehidupan dan kesejahteraan manusia serta
makhluk hidup lainnya.

Unsur-unsur lingkungan hidup terbagi atas tiga

● Unsur biotik, yaitu unsur lingkungan hidup yang terdiri dari

manusia, hewan, dan tumbuhan.

● Unsur sosial budaya, yaitu suatu unsur lingkungan yang dibuat

manusia yang di dalamnya memuat nilai, gagasan, dan cara

berperilaku sebagai makhluk sosial. Kehidupan masyarakat bisa

tertib berkat adanya sistem nilai dan norma yang diakui serta

ditaati oleh segenap anggota masyarakat.

● Unsur abiotik, yaitu unsur lingkungan hidup yang terdiri dari

benda-benda mati, seperti tanah, air, udara, suhu, dan lain-lain.

FAKTOR YANG MENYRBABKAN

● 1. Faktor Alam
KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP
● Kerusakan lingkungan hidup karena faktor alam terjadi karena adanya bencana alam, seperti banjir, gempa bumi, dan gunung meletus.
● 2. Banjir
● Selain karena ulah manusia, banjir juga dapat terjadi karena faktor alam, misalnya hujan yang terus-menerus. Curah hujan seperti ini akan membuat sungai
meluap atau membuat tanggul jebol karena tidak mampu lagi menampung debit air. Banjir yang sering terjadi saat musim penghujan dapat membuat bangunan
dan tempat tinggal makhluk hidup rusak, lapisan tanah yang subur hilang terbawa air, serta tanaman-tanaman rusak.
● 4. Gempa Bumi
● Gempa bumi terjadi karena adanya pergerakan lempeng bumi atau aktivitas gunung berapi dan dampaknya bergantung pada besarnya kekuatan gempa. Gempa
bumi akan mengakibatkan banyak bangunan yang roboh, terjadi tanah longsor, dan terputusnya jalur transportasi. Jika kekuatan gempa sangat besar,
kemungkinan akan menimbulkan tsunami.
● 5. Gunung Berapi Meletus
● Saat meletus, gunung berapi akan mengelurkan abu vulkanik, lahar, lava, uap panas, dan material lainnya yang dapat merusak lingkungan. Dampak dari letusan
tersebut dapat berlangsung lama bergantung pada besarnya kekuatan letusan, tetapi saat kembali normal, daerah yang terdampak letusan akan menjadi subur.
Letusan gunung berapi akan mengakibatkan gangguan pernapasan, gas beracun, kerusakan lingkungan, bahkan dapat mematikan lingkungan sekitar.
● 6. Faktor Manusia
● Selain faktor alam, faktor manusia juga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan hidup.
● 7. Membuang Sampah Sembarangan
● Saat ini, masih banyak orang yang membuang sampah sembarangan, terutama di sungai. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan banjir jika musim penghujan tiba.
● 8. Limbah Industri
● Limbah industri ini dapat berasal dari pabrik dan rumah tangga. Jika tidak dikelola dengan tepat, limbah-limbah tersebut akan merusak lingkungan hidup.
● 9. Menebang Hutan Secara Liar
● Saat ini, luas hutan di Indonesia semakin berkurang karena maraknya aksi penebangan liar. Hutan yang gundul tidak dapat meresap dan menahan aliran air hujan
sehingga dapat terjadi banjir dan longsor.
