I. TujuanPembelajaran
Melalui kegiatan pembelajaran dengan metode diskusi, tanya jawab, analisis, penugasan,
danpresentasi dengan pendekatan saintifik, peserta didik dapat membedakan (KD3),
menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi transaksional
lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait saran
dan tawaran, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya. (Perhatikan unsur kebahasaan
should, can). terampil (KD4) menyusun teks interaksi transaksional, lisan dan tulis, pendek
dan sederhana, yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait saran
dan tawaran, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan
yang benar sesuai konteks sehingga peserta didik dapat menghayati dan mengamalkan
ajaran agama yang dianutnya melalui belajar bahasa dan sastra Inggris, mengembangkan
sikap/ karakter jujur, peduli, dan bertanggung jawab serta dapat mengembangkan
kemampuan berpikir kritis, berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi, berkreasi (4C) dan
berliterasi

II. Kompetensi Dasar

3.1 Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi
transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta
informasi terkait saran dan tawaran, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
(Perhatikan unsur kebahasaan should, can).
4.1 Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional, lisan dan tulis, pendek dan sederhana,
yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait saran dan
tawaran, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur
kebahasaan yang benar sesuai konteks.

III. Indikator Pencapaian Kompetensi

3.1.1 Memilih dengan tepat ungkapan yang digunakan dalam tindakan memberi dan
meminta informasi terkait saran dan tawaran tentang permasalahan lingkungan
sekitar sekolah dengan benar sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
3.1.2 Mengemukakan respon dan pendapat secara tertulis dan lisan yang tepat terkait
tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi tentang saran dan tawaran tentang
permasalahan lingkungan sekitar sekolah dengan benar dengan tepat sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya.
4.1.1 Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional tulis pendek sederhana yang melibatkan
tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait saran dan tawaran tentang
permasalahan lingkungan sekitar sekolah dengan benar dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial (topic), struktur teks (expression of suggestion) dan unsur
kebahasaan (the use of modal should) yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan
konteksnya.
4.2.2 Menampilkan hasil susunan teks interaksi transaksional tulis pendek sederhana
dalam bentuk rekaman video pendek sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait saran dan tawaran tentang
permasalahan lingkungan sekitar sekolah dengan benar dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial (topic), struktur teks (expression of suggestion) dan unsur
kebahasaan (the use of modal should) yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan
konteksnya.
IV. Materi Pembelajaran
Fakta : Meminta dan memberi saran dan/atau tawaran
Konsep :

Suggesting
Suggesting means to give a suggestion that is to introduce or propose an idea or plan for
someone’s consideration. Suggestions are abstract and can be in form of solutions, advise,
plan, and idea. It can be accepted or refused.
a. Social Function (the purpose of the text)
To facilitate interpersonal communication between different people.
b. Generic structures of the text (text structure)
- Starting: start the conversation by giving greeting, suggestion or offering.
- Responding: give the response.
c. Language features
- The use of simple present tense, simple past tense, present perfect tense.
- The use of modal verbs should, have to, must, could, can, shall etc.
- The use of statement I think, I know etc.

Prinsip : Ungkapan-ungkapan yang digunakan dalam memberikan saran dan tawaran.

VII. Kegiatan Pembelajaran.


Pertemuan Pertama & Kedua
ALOKASI
KEGIATAN DESKRIPSI KEGIATAN

Pendahuluan -Menyiapkan peserta didik baik secara fisik maupun psikis 15 menit
dengan mengecek kehadiran setiap peserta didik dan berdoa
bersama.

-Mengulas kembali materi yang telah dipelajari pada


pertemuan sebelumnya dan memberikan pertanyaan yang
mengarah pada tujuan pelajaran yang hendak dicapai hari ini.

-Ice breaking.

-Peserta didik putarkan video berjudul Giving Advice dan


diminta untuk fokus untuk menjawab pertanyaan terkait
informasi yang ada dalam video.
Inti Mengamati dan Menanya 70 menit
1. Peserta didik bersama dengan teman sebangkunya
berdiskusi dan menjawab pertanyaan terkait video yang
telah ditayangkan.
2. Peserta didik kemudian diberikan contoh teks percakapan
tertulis yang ditayangkan di slide PPT dan juga diberikan
kesiswa dalam Students’ Worksheet.
3. Peserta didik diterangkan sedikit mengenai fungsi sosial,
struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan yang terdapat dalam
teks transaksional tulis dalam tindakan memberi dan
meminta saran tentang permasalahan lingkungan yang
terdapat di sekolah.
4. Peserta didik bersama dengan kelompok diminta untuk
menggaris bawahi informasi detail apa saja yang telah
mereka temukan selama berdiskusi bersama kelompok
(expressing and responding for suggestions dan kosa kata
sulit yang ditemukan dalam contoh dialog).
5. Peserta didik memperoleh kesempatan untuk bertanya
mengenai kesulitan yang dihadapi selama kegiatan
pembelajaran berlangsung. Jika peserta didik pasif dalam
bertanya, guru berikan pertanyaan balik seputar materi
yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya.

6. Peserta didik bersama dengan teman sebangkunya
diberikan worksheet terkait contoh dialog transaksional
tertulis tentang tindakan memberi dan meminta saran
beserta latihan soal untuk di diskusikan dan dikerjakan
bersama.
7. Perwakilan dari masing-masing kelompok akan ditunjuk
secara acak untuk mengutarakan hasil diskusinya dengan
teman sekelompoknya dan kemudian diberikan umpan
balik dan disiapkan untuk melakukan sebuah game.
Mengasosiasi
8. Game Give me your advice.
-Pada babak pertama, masing-masing peserta didik
diberikan sebuah Conditional Card yang
mendeskripsikan tentang masalah lingkungan yang
ada di sekolah.
-Setelah setiap peserta didik memiliki Conditional Card,
mereka kemudian diminta untuk mengecek setiap kartu
yang didapatkan oleh teman yang duduk disebelah kiri dan
kanannya serta menuliskan saran yang tepat untuk
mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan sekolah sesuai
dengan kartu yang didapatkan oleh teman tersebut.
-Permainan akan dimulai dengan menyuruh semua peserta
didik untuk berdiri melingkar dimana salah seorang peserta
didik diminta untuk memegang sebuah bola yang telah
disediakan oleh guru.
-Peserta didik kemudian diputarkan sebuah lagu oleh guru
dan bola kemudian beralih tangan dari satu peserta didik
kepada peserta didik yang lain.
-Ketika lagu di pause oleh guru, peserta didik yang
memegang bola diminta untuk menyatakan kondisi yang
tertulis dalam Conditional Card yang mereka perolah dan
teman yang ada di samping kiri maupun kanannya akan
memberikan sarannya sesuai dengan apa yang telah ditulis
sebelumnya.
9. Pada babak kedua, setiap peserta didik akan diberikan
sebuah kertas kosong dan diminta untuk menuliskan
kondisi maupun masalah yang ditemukan
dilingkungan sekolah yang benar-benar sedang terjadi
saat itu yang kira-kira membutuhkan saran dari
teman-temannya (waktu yang diberikan untuk menulis
kondisi tersebut hanya 5 menit).
-Permainan kemudian dilanjutkan saat guru mulai
memutarkan sebuah lagu.
-Hal yang berbeda pada babak ini adalah, peserta didik akan
melemparkan bolanya kesiapapun teman yang dia mau.
Dan teman yang mendapatkan bola bersamaan saat
dijedanya lagu, akan mengutarakan kondisi/masalah yang
telah dia tulis, dan dengan bebas menunjuk siapa saja
teman yang ingin dia tunjuk untuk memberikan saran
kepadanya.
-Teman yang terlalu lama memberikan saran atau saran yang
diberikan tidak masuk akal dan tidak diterima oleh semua
peserta didik, maka teman tersebut harus berdiri dan
berjoget ditengah lingkaran menyanyikan lagu berbahasa
Inggris.
10. Pada akhir permainan, peserta didik akan dibentuk
menjadi empat kelompok besar. Masing-masing kelompok
kemudian diminta untuk merancang sebuah teks
percakapan transaksional tertulis dari salah satu
permasalahan/kondisi yang terdapat dalam lingkungan
sekolah dihadapi oleh salah satu anggota group.
Mengomunikasikan
11. Setiap tim kemudian diminta untuk maju kedepan kelas
untuk melakukan role playing dialog dari teks yang sudah
mereka rancang.
Penutup 12. Guru memberikan evaluasi pembelajaran yang 5 menit
terdapat pada UKB 1
13. Apabila evaluasi belum selesai dikerjakan, peserta
didik dapat melanjutkan di rumah
14. Setelah selesai mengerjakan evaluasi tersebut, peserta
didik diharapkan dapat menjawab rubrik evaluasi
diri pada UKB 1
15. Peserta didik dan guru bersama-sama mengakhiri pelajaran
dengan berdo’a dan ditutup dengan salam
Catatan : Selama pembelajaran berlangsung, guru mengamati sikap siswa dalam
pembelajaran yang meliputi sikap: berpikir kritis, komunikasi, kolaborasi,
kreativitas, religius, nasionalisme, integritas, gotong royong dan mandiri

3. Remidial dan Pengayaan
