Going to the Ragunan zoo

Mr. and Mrs Anwar have two children. They are Tono and Sinta. Last Sunday they went to the Ragunan
Zoo. It is in South Jakarta.

There are many animals there. There are lions, elephants , crocodiles, bird, snakes, and others. Tono gave
some bananas and peanuts to the monkeys.

1. Reading ( membaca )

a. Membaca dilaksanakan perorangan secara bergiliran.

b. Ketika membaca perlu diperhatikan lafal / pengucapan,intonasi,dan kelancaran membaca.

2. Listening (Menyimak)

a. Bahan simakan ( wacana ) diperdengarkan kepada siswa melalui kaset atau suara penguji.

b. Pemahaman terhadap bahan / kata-kata yang disimaknya diuji dengan kemampuan menulis kata-
kata yang didiktekan penguji dengan benar.

3. Spekaing (Berbicara)

a. Berbicara / atau bercakap-cakap dilaksanakan perorangan secara bergiliran

b. Kemampuan berbicara diuji dengan menjawab pertanyaan penguji secara lengkap dan benar serta
lancar.

4. Writing ( menulis )

a. Menulis dilaksanakan secara perorangan dalam waktu yang bersamaan.

b. Kemampuan menulis diuji dengan menyusun kata-kata acak menjadi

kalimat yang benar.

John : What is the principal food of Indonesia?

Tom : Our principal food is rice.

John : Just only rice?

Tom : No, we eat it with some spice like meat, vegetable, and so on.

John : What do you eat here in Indonesia?

Tom : Sometime I also eat rice like fried rice, Soto, and meat balls.

John : So you are not a difficult person in eating.

Tom : Because they are also nice and many kinds I like it.

John : What time do you generally dinner?

Tom : I usually have dinner at seven thirty.

John : Will you dinner with me tonight?

Tom : Thank you, where will we meet?

John : I will be waiting for you at home.

Tom : Okey. I will pick you up.

II. READING

Read this text loudly!

Long time ago, people only had traditional transportation to go to other place. The transportations are
horses, cows, and carts. This transportation couldn’t move fast. So, they needed long time to move to
another place.

Nowadays, they use modern transportation to move, such as car, motorcycle, train and bus, this
transportation is faster than the traditional one. It can also carry many people.

There are three kinds of transportation people may use. They are water transportation, air
transportation, and land transportation. The examples of water transportation are ship, canoe, and boat.
Air transportation such as plane and helicopter. While land transportation are car, train, bus, etc.

Kriteria penilaian ujian bahasa inggris

1. Speaking

a. Kelancaran : 44-50

b. Pronunciation : 44-50

Total nilai : kelancaran + pronunciation / 2

2. Reading

a. Intonasi : 44-50

b. Pronunciation : 44-50

Total nilai : intonasi + pronunciation / 2

Total nilai ujian bahasa inggris : total nilai speaking + total nilai reading / 2
