B.14. Memasukkan / Cabut sucker rod
Pemompaan reguler dilakukan melalui anulus untuk
mempertahankan tekanan hidrostatik di atas tekanan
reservoir sehingga mencegah sumur flowing
cmenabut / memasukkan sucker rod. Untuk jenis
insert pump, standing valve hanya dapat dipasang
bersama sucjer rod. Oleh karena itu, metode yang
sama seperti di atas dapat digunakan
Untuk prosedur dan mitigiasi wellcontrol, polish rod
dijadikan sebagai kick joint atau FOSV dengan
koneksi x-over ke rod BOPE akan disiapkan di rig
sebelum mencabut / memasukkan sucker rod,. Dua
metode penutupan sumur:
1. Turunkan kick joint dan tutup
a. Siapkan polish rod
b. Jika terjadi kick, angkat polish rod dan
hubungkan ke sucker rod
c. Turunkan polish rod dan kemudian tutup rod
BOP terhadap polish rod
2. Putuskan sambungan dan shut in well
a. Hentikan pemompaan dari sisi anulus,
alihkan aliran dari annulus
membuka outlet casing
mengurangi laju aliran yang keluar dari tubig
dan memungkinkan kru rig untuk bekerja di
sekitar wellhead
b. Longgarkan sambungan sucker rod pertama
degan yang kedua
c. Tutup rod BOPE dan turunkan sucker rod
sehingga bagian atas sucker rod bisa duduk
di batang BOPE
d. Buka sucker rod yang pertama
e. Pasang FOSV dalam posisi terbuka dengan
koneksi crossover ke rod BOPE
f. Tutup FOSV

B.14. Running / Pulling sucker rod
Regular pumping is conducted through the
annulus to maintain the hydrostatic pressure
saat above reservoir pressure thus preventing the well
from flowing while pulling/running sucker rod(s).
In other case, for insert pump operation type of
wells, standing valve could only be installed along
with the sucker rod trip. Therefore, the same
method as above is adopted.
For well control procedures and mitigation, a
polished rod as kick joint or FOSV with connection
x-over to rod BOPE will be prepared on the rig site
prior to pulling/running sucker rod(s). Two
methods of shut in the wells:
1. Lower kick joint and close
a. Prepare polished rod
b. If kick happened, pick up the polished rod
and connect it to sucker rod string
c. Lower the polished rod and then close the
rod BOP against polished rod
2. Break connection and shut in well
a. Stop pumping fluids from annulus side,
dengan divert the flow from annulus by opening
valve untuk side outlet casing valves to reduce flow
rate coming out from tubing side allowing
rig crew to work around wellhead
b. Loose the connection from 1st to 2nd joint
sucker rod
c. Close rod BOPE and lower down the sucker
rod so the top profile of sucker rod could
sit on the rod BOPE
d. Break out the 1st joint of sucker rod
connection
e. Stab in the FOSV in open position with a
connection crossover onto rod BOPE
f. Close FOSV
