Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of students' writing skills. The proof is seen
from the students' writing achievement where students are less skilled in writing
their ideas. The problem in this case, research is "how to use, evaluate to see
achievement, and learning constraints". by using discovery learning strategies
with audiovisual media?” This study aims to investigate the use, evaluation to see
achievement, and learning constraints by using audiovisual discovery strategies to
improve writing skills in developing saga stories. Discovery learning strategy is a
learning theory which is defined as a learning process that occurs when students
are not presented with lessons in their final form, but are expected to organize
themselves. Discovery occurs when individuals are involved, especially in using
their mental processes to find some concepts and principles. Discovery is done
through observation. , classification, measurement, prediction, determination and
inference. The method used is descriptive method. The technique used is an
indirect technique, namely observation and learning documentation.
