ABSTRACT
The success of the learning process is inseparable from the teacher's ability to apply
creative and innovative learning models in order to provide a stimulus to students to be
more active in the learning process. The teacher-centered teaching and learning process
has an impact on students not having motivation to learn and has an impact on low
student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the increase in learning
outcomes on knowledge and skills by using knowledge and skills guided inquiry learning
model. Through literature study, this article describes a guided inquiry learning model to
foster knowledge and skills. Data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively by
analyzing and identifying scientific articles to produce more informative summaries. The
results of the literature study show that the guided inquiry learning model can foster
students' knowledge and skills. The guided inquiry learning model has advantages that
enable students to develop intellectual abilities, communicate, and solve problems. The
Guided Inquiry learning model combined with learning media and strategies can provide
a significant increase in student activity.
