interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis pendek dan sederhana yang melibatkan

dalam teks ilmiah, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya, sehingga
peserta didik dapat menghayati dan mengamalkan ajaran agama yang
dianutnya, mengembangkan sikap jujur, peduli, dan bertanggung jawab,
serta dapat

Konsep dan teori dalam UKBM ini sangat menarik. Marilah kita terlebih
dahulu membaca Buku Bahasa Inggris Kelas XI yang dicetak oleh Kementrian
Pendidikan Nasional revisi tahun 2017 pada halaman 104-105. Untuk
memperkaya materi, kita juga bisa membaca dan berlatih dengan bantuan

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:

the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence
the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)
the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is
dropped)

1) Petunjuk Umum UKBM
a) Melalui UKBM ini kita akan mengembangkan kemampuan menggunkan
passive voice dalam meminta dan memberi informasi
keadaan/tindakan/kejadian tanpa perlu menyebutkan pelakunya dalam
teks ilmiah. Ada beberapa kegiatan berfikir yang akan kita lakukan
dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya adalah menganalisis sebuah teks ilmiah
berbentuk explanation, mendiskusikan language feature yang ada di teks
tersebut serta anda akan mengumpulkan informasi terkait dengan
penyusunan sebuah teks explanation. UKBM ini mendorong kita bekerja
secara teliti dan kreatif, karenanya dibutuhkan kesabaran, ketekunan dan
kreatifitas dalam menyelesaikan tugas dalam kegiatan ini.
b) Baca dan pahami UKBM ini dan perkaya pengetahuan dan materi
melalui buku Bahasa Inggris Kelas X karya Makhrukh Basir yang
diterbitkan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional edisi revisi tahun
2017. Buku bacaan dan sumber belajar lain yang bisa membantu anda

Ghania : This year the world is shocked by the refugees’ crisis. At the time the
number of refugees from Middle East, particularly Syria, is flooding
Europe.
Yuki : Why is Europe flooded by Syrian Refugees?
Ghania : Forced by the civil war and other problems in their home country, Syrians
are looking for places to continue their lives peacefully. Unfortunately,
many countries are not prepared to hold up that many refuges at once.
This causes severe problems such as hunger, illness, even deaths.
