Abstract
For more than a century, laboratory experiences have been purported to promote central science
education goals including the enhancement of students' understanding of concepts in science and its
applications; scientific practical skills and problem solving abilities; scientific ‘habits of mind’ understanding
of how science and scientists work; interest and motivation. As the scientist generally used lab tools to help
facilitate each practice activity. Terrestrial Ecology one of many course that needs lab tools in the practice.
General tool as usual as used in the laboratory such Soil Tester for analyze soil , Soil Thermometer for
measure the temperature, Lux Meter for measure the intensity of light, etc. And the laborant must be know
about the name’s tool, how it works, and how to use the tools. Because this is very important when the laborant
do field practice. Each tools has the different and spesific function, and some tools use cutting-edge technology
that make the easy way for user.
