Stakeholders and Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

Stakeholders dan KPI’s adalah dua

komponen penting dalam peningkatan
mutu pada Proyek dan Organisasi/
Perusahaan Konstruksi
Stakeholders

organisasi
 Secara sederhana Freeman (1984) mendefinisikan
stakeholders sebagai: Principle of Who or What really
counts (prinsip terkait siapa dan apa yang benar-benar
penting/diperhitungkan)
Stakeholders

Organisasi (perusahaan-proyek)
tidak hanya berfikir atau
memperkirakan ekspektasi/interest
apa dari stakeholders, tetapi juga
berfikir pengaruh apa yang dapat
diberikan oleh stakeholders kepada
organisasi

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

 KPI adalah instrumen untuk mengukur kinerja

perusahaan
Industry sejak 1998
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

 KPI Working Group (2000) states:

The purpose of the KPIs is to enable measurement of

project and organisational performance throughout
the construction industry. This information can then
be used for benchmarking purposes, and will be a
key component of any organisation’s move towards
achieving best practice
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Formulasi Awal KPI’s Konstruksi:

People KPI’s
Construction Product KPI’s
Environmental KPI’s
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Cook (1999), M41 10KPI’s:

 Seven are applied on a project-by-project basis:
 Construction cost;
 Construction time;
 Cost predictability;
 Time predictability;
 Defects;
 Product satisfaction; and
 Customer satisfaction.
 Three indicators look at Company performance:
 Profitability;
 Productivity; and
 Safety

KPI’s Used by..?

KPIs be used throughout the construction industry

by all parties, including clients, designers,
consultants, contractors and subcontractors
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

The Key previously stated Performance Indicators are

known as the ‘headline KPIs’
 Operational Indicators
Operational Indicators relate to specific aspects of a construction
company’s activities and should enable senior management to
identify and focus on specific areas for improvements
 Diagnostic Indicators
Diagnostic indicators provide information on why certain
changes may have occurred in the headline or operational indicators;
they are useful in analysing areas for improvement in more detail;
This enables a construction company to efficiently and effectively
focus its limited organisational resources
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

1. Project indicator: construction cost

2. Project indicator: construction time
3. Project indicator: cost predictability
4. Project indicator: time predictability
5. Project indicators: defects
6. & 7. Project indicators: products and service
satisfaction
8. Company indicator: profi tability
9. Company indicator: productivity
10. Company indicator: safety
