berulang ulang

suggest, so perhaps we should…..
DENISE : So, to sum up-I think we are all aware, that some urgent work does
need to be done, and we will need to work on a longer term plan form a
major red.
Denise : Well, if there’s no more discussion-we’ll put it to a vote.
recommending that tenders be called for the urgent work needed.

dibutuhkan.
Denise : All those in favour? Semuanya setuju?
Denise : All those against? Semuanya menolak?
Denise : Then that’s agreed. Any other business?
Kalau begitu. Semua setuju ada lagi
yang perlu dibicarakan?
Denise : Then we’ll close the meeting. Thank you everyone. The

Lalu kita akan menutup rapat ini. Terimakasih semuanya.
Teacher: Did you notice the different parts of that introduction by the
chairperson? Apakah anda memperhatikan bagian yang berbeda dari
kata pengantar dari pemimpin rapat?
First, she thanked people for attending the meeting. Even thought it
may be their job- it’s good practice to thank people for attending.
Pertama, dia berterimakasih pada yang menghadiri rapat. Walaupun
mungkin
First of all, thank you everyone for attending at short notice.
Peserta Ucapkan kembali
Pertama, terimakasih pada semuanya telah menghadiri pengumuman
singkat ini.
Denise: The Chair should state the objective of the meeting. In this
case it is to discuss a proposal, an to reach a decision. A proposal is
simply a more formal word for a suggestion- but it is usually a
detailed suggestion, in a written form.

objective of a meeting….
anda? Denise says ‘without further ado, I’d like to open it up
for discussion.’ Denise mengatakan “tanpa ada kesulitan
lebih jauh, saya akan membuka diskusi.”
Without further ado ‘just means without any more procedure.
We’re going to discuss it straight a way. Then she says “I’d like to
open it up for discussion,.”
It’ refers to the proposal she has just outlined.
tambahan lagi. Kita akan harus berdiskusi . Kemudian dia
mengatakan” saya akan memulai diskusi” it berkaitan pada
proposal yang baru saja diibuat garis besarnya.
Denise invites Tan to start the discussion. Let’s practice a few phrases for asking
someone to speak
Another job for the Chair is to summarize the discussion – that is concisely state the
main points made during the meeting.
So, to sum up – I think we are all aware that some urgent works does need to be
done, and we will need to work on a longer term plan for a major refit.
Denise summarizes the main points from the discussion. To
introduce this she could use various phrase – practice these:

Evan Rahman:
Before I begin the report, I’d like to get some
ideas from you all. How do you feel about rural
sales in your sales districts? I suggest we go
round the table first to get all of your input.
Andin:
In my opinion, we have been focusing too
much on urban customers and their needs.
The way I see things, we need to return to our
rural base by developing an advertising
campaign to focus on their particular needs.
Budiana:
I’m afraid I can’t agree with you. I think rural customers
want to feel as important as our customers living in cities. I
suggest we give our rural sales teams more help with
advanced customer information reporting.
Saya pikir
pelanggan pedesaan ingin merasa sama pentingnya dengan
pelanggan kami yang tinggal di kota-kota . Saya sarankan kita
memberikan tim penjualan pedesaan kita bantuan lebih lanjut
dengan melaporkan informasi pelanggan canggih)

teams better customer information reporting.
