Secara psikomotorik: mata kuliah ini bertujuan
meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam
penulisan artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan dalam
prosiding atau penerbit yang bereputasi. Artikel
berkaitan dengan kebahasaan, pengajaran bahasa, dan
sastra berdasarkan teori-teori penulisan artikel ilmiah
dan mengkomunikasikannya dalam bentuk presentasi
dan project paper.

Secara pengetahuan: mata kuliah ini bertujuan
memperdalam pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai
penulisan artikel ilmiah kebahasaan dan pengajaran
bahasa serta mempertajam kemampuan analisis
mahasiswa terhadap konsep-konsep penulisan artikel
ilmiah. Topik-topik perkuliahan mencakup subject
matter, title, abstract, introduction, frame of theories,
methodology, results, discussion, and suggestion.

Perkuliahan ditekankan pada presentasi makalah dan
diskusi, dan tugas mandiri berupa ulasan-ulasan
artikel ilmiah (reviewing article) yang diterbitkan dalam
jurnal.
Secara sikap: mata kuliah ini bertujuan mempertajam
keperdulian mahasiswa terhadap penulisan artikel
ilmiah dan mengembangkan komitmen mahasiswa
untuk mengaplikasikan teori-teori dalam penulisan
artikel ilmiah.
