What is intruction?
Instruction is a message describing how
something is to be done.
Example the dialogue use expression of
intruction
Mr. Andra: “Everybody, don’t forget we’re
going to camp tomorrow. Bring the mosquito
repellent. Don’t forget to bring your jacket.”
Students: “Alright, Sir.”

You can also create a dialog like the example by your self. If you
want to give instruction and respond it, you can use the following
expressions

What is Invitation?
Invitation is a request (spoken or written) to
participate or be present or take part in something.
Example the dialogue use expression of
invitation
Shania : Hi, Vera. How are you?
Vera : Hi, Shania. I’m fine.
Shania : I would like to invite you to my birthday
party on Sunday.
Vera : Oh, okay. I’d love to come. What time?
Shania : At 4 p.m. I invited Ola and Joana, too.
Vera : Alright. I’ll come over with them.
Shania : Great! See you, Vera!
Vera : See you, Shania!

You can also create a dialog like the example by your self. If you want
to give instruction and respond it,you can use the following expressions

Inviting someone Accepting an invitation Declining an invitation

Shall we...? Yes, I will I'm terribly sorry. I don't think I

can.

Can you come to.... Yes, certainly I will come. I'm very sorry, I can't.

Would you like to come? Absolutely, count me in. Thank you very much, but....

I'd very much like you to come. I would, very much. I'm very sorry, I don't think I can.

Would you like to.... Yes, I'd like nothing better. I'd like to, but....
Expression of Permission
What is permission?
Permission is approval to do something.
Example the dialogue use expression of permission
Aleya: Mom, my friends will go to the cinema this
afternoon and they asked me to join. May I go with them
mom?
Mom: You can go if you have finished your homework
Aleya: Really, mom?
Mom: Of course. By the way, what kind of movie do you
plan to watch?
Aleya: It’s a comedy, mom. My other friends said that it
was so funny
Mom: Ok then, but don’t come home late
 Expression of Permission
You can also create a dialog like the example by your self. If you want
to ask for, give and refuse permission, you can use the following
expressions
Asking for Permission Giving Permission Refusing Permission

Can I ....., please? Yes, Please do. No, please don’t.

May I …… please? It is okay with me. I am sorry, but that’s not

possible
Please, can I …….? No problem. I’m afraid, but you can’t

Please, may I……? Please feel free. Sorry, but

Do you mind if I….? Sure, go head. You couldn’t do that

Would you mind if I…? Certainly. No, that’s not allowed
