“Katakanlah kepada hamba-hambaKu yang telah beriman :
Hendaklah mereka mendirikan shalat, menafkahkan seba-
gian dari rezeki yang Kami berikan kepada mereka secara
sembunyi atau pun terang-terangan sebelum datang hari
(Kiamat) yang pada hari itu tidak ada jual beli dan persaha-
batan.” (QS. Ibrahim (14) : 31)

Ayat tersebut dapat dipahami bahwa orang-orang beriman

diperintahkan untuk membelanjakan dan
mengembangkan serta menggunakan harta benda di jalan
Allah sebagai bekal menghadap Tuhan sebelum datang
kematian dan datangnya hari kiamat

Kedua, al-bai’u dalam
pengertian jual beli yang ha-
lal dan larangan untuk mem-
peroleh dan mengembangkan
harta benda dengan jalan
riba. Seperti firman Allah
dalam Al-Qur’an yang
artinya :
“Orang-orang yang makan (mengambil) riba
1 tidak dapat berdiri melainkan seperti
berdirinya orang yang melainkan seperti
berdirinya orang yang kemasukan setan lan-
taran penyakit gila. Keadaan mereka yang
demikian itu, disebabkan karena mereka
berkata (berpendapat) bahwa sesungguhnya
jual beli itu sama dengan riba, padahal Allah
telah menghalakan jual beli dan meng-
haramkan riba.” (QS. AlBaqarah (2) : 275)
“Laki-laki tidak dilalaikan oleh perniagaan
2 dan tidak (pula) oleh jual beli dari mengingat
Allah dan (dari) mendirikan shalat dan mem-
bayar zakat.” (QS.An-Nur (24) : 37)
“Hai orang-orang yang beriman apabila
3 diseru untuk menunaikan shalat Jum’at maka
bersegeralah kamu mengingat Allah dan
tinggalkanlah jual beli.” (QS. Al-Jum’at (62) :
9)
Ayat-ayat tersebut di atas menunjukkan bahwa jual beli digunakan dalam kon-
teks bisnis atau perniagaan sebagai sarana mencari rizki atau penghidupan. Den-
gan demikian yang dimaksud jual beli tersebut tidak hanya jual beli sebagai
kegiatan bisnis di antara manusia, tetapi juga jual beli sebagai bisnis antara manu-
sia dengan Allah.

Yaitu ketika orang-orang beriman melakukan jihad di jalan Allah,

membelanjakan harta benda di jalan Allah, menetapi perjanjian dengan
Allah, maka Allah membeli diri dan harta orang beriman dengan
surga.
