Sediaaan Parenteral
Parenteral Injection
Injeksi/parenteral adalah sediaan steril berupa larutan,

emulsi, suspensi, atau serbuk yg harus dilarutkan atau
disuspensikan terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan yg
disuntikkan ke dalam kulit, melalui kulit, atau selaput lendir.
Parenteral Injection
Pada umunya injeksi diberikan dg tujuan untuk

mempercepat proses absorbsi obat sehingga efeknya
dapat menghaslkan efek terapi lebih cepat.
Penggunaan Injeksi
Injeksi biasanya diberikan pd pasien tdk sadarkan diri atau

pasien yg tidak dapat bekerja sama sehingga tdk dapat
mengkonsumsi sediaan oral.
Pasien yg tidak sadar tidak mampu menelan ataupun

mempertahankan obat dibawah lidah.
Teknik pemberian pada:

- diabsorbsi  cepat
- tak dapat ditarik/diurungkan bila sdh diinjeksikan  hati-hati
Perlengkapan
Syringe : - plastik (disposible)
- kaca (re-use)
- Jenis (hypodermia, insulin & tuberkulin)
Jarum : - disposible/re-use harus tajam

- ukuran/nomer ssi dgn kebutuhan (1 ml : IC, SC)
Ampul/Vial : Kemasan obat parenteral steril

Teknik Penyuntikan
a. Intra Cutan (IC)
Memasukkan obat pada lapisan dalam kulit. Biasanya untuk
test alergi karena suplai darah lebih sedikit dan absorbsi
lambat.
 Skin test alergi

 Mantoux tes
 Vaksinasi
 Melalui kapiler diarea penyuntikan
 Tdk boleh di masase
 Diabsorbsi secara lambat

b. Sub cutan (SC) 45 o

Memasukkan obat dibawah kulit.
Hanya untuk obat yg tdk merangsang atau melarut baik dlm
air/minyak. Efek lebih lambat dr IM dan IV.
 Vaksin
 Pre surgery medication
 Insulin/heparin
Teknik Penyuntikan
b. Intra Muscular (IM)

Memasukkan obat ke jaringan otot dibawah kulit.
Memungkinkan absorbsi yg lebih cepat dr SC krn prmbuluh
darah di jaringan muskular lebih banyak. Terdapat resiko
memasukkan obat langsung ke pembuluh darah
Teknik Penyuntikan
d. Intra Vena (IV)
Waktu tercepat efek dihasilkan dlm 18 detik yaitu waktu distribusi darah. Tetapi efek
sangat singkat.
• bila diperlukan efek yg cepat pada emergency

• bila obat dapat mengiritasi jaringan
• lokasi : Vena, Cephalic, Vena-Vena Accessory Cephalic, Vena radial, Vena Medial
Antebrachial, basilic vein, Vena Medican cubital, Vena Basilic, Vena Cephalic, vena
dorsal metacarpal.
Karena efeknya cepat :

- berikan secara perlahan
- amati reaksi pasien selama pemberian obat
- stop segera bila tumbuh reaksi yang tdk diinginkan
Jenis: -Continus infusion

- Additional container
- Intravenaus push/bolus
Teknik Penyuntikan
d. Intra Arteri (IA)
Ada kalanya penyuntikan intra arteri dibutuhkan untuk membanjiri
suatu organ, contohnya hati. Dengan obat yg sangat cepat
diinaktifkan atau terikat pada jaringan.
Ex: obat kanker nitrogen mustard

Peralatan yg dibutuhkan

Adapun tipe-tipe spuit yakni:
Tabung silinder bertuliskan takaran volume terbuat da • Spuit luer-lok yg ditandai dg 0,1 (persepuluh)
ri kaca ataupun plastik yg berpasangan dg alat penye
dot (plunger) dan juga ujungnya di desain khusus unt • Spuit tuberkulin – 0.01 (perseratus) utk dosis
uk bisa dipasang dg jarum hipodermis. <1ml
Ada dua jenis spuit: Luer-lok dan Nonluer-lok • Spuit insulin yg ditandai dg unit (100) dan
