Berdasarkan kedalaman impaksi M3 dibanding M2 Menurut
Pell and Gregory (1933)
Berdasarkan kedalaman relatif gigi molar :
Kelas A : Cusp tertinggi dari M3 sejajar dengan oklusal gigi M2.
Kelas B : Cusp tertinggi dari M3
berada diantara bidang oklusal dan garis servikal M2.
Kelas C : Cusp tertinggi dari M3
berada di bawah garis servikal M2.
• Berdasarkan ruang yang tersedia
antara ramus mandibula dengan distal
M2 menurut Pell and Gregory (1933)
• Kelas I : jarak antara distal gigi M2
dengan ramus mandibula sama atau
lebih besar dari mesiodistal gigi M3
(Cukup ruang)
• Kelas II : jarak antara distal gigi M2
dengan ramus mandibula lebih kecil
dari mesiodistal gigi M3 (Kurang
ruang)
• Kelas III : Seluruh mesiodistal gigi M3
berada di dalam ramus mandibula
(tidak ada ruang)

• Kelas A : Cusp tertinggi dari M3

garis servikal M2.
• Kelas C : Cusp tertinggi dari M3
• berada di bawah garis servikal M2.
