4. Ujian ini bersifat tulis diikuti tes lisan melalui interview perseorangan.
5. Note : AB diisikan sesuai dengan NIM, 2 digit paling belakang, misal NIM ..0015, AB = 15 sehingga
flowrate menjadi 1500 lb/jam
Soal Ujian :
Solve the problem below for each case:
1. Design the dimension of the reactor include the bottom and the roof. Design also for the
nozzel.

2. Sketch the vessel include the dimension.
(Point 30)
a. (Soal untuk NIM gasal)
Acid liquid as an input of reactor has flowrate of AB00 lb/hour and density of 65 lb/ft 3. It can fill
the vessel as much as 80%. The reactor will be operated at 350 oF and 10,7 psia. The bottom
and the roof of the reactor are standard dished-head type. The manhole will be added into the
vessel.
b. (Soal untuk NIM genap)
The vessel will be used to heat base liquid at 400 oF and 0,2 psig. The liquid has mass of AB00
lb in the vessel and its density is 75 lb/ft 3. The roof of the vessel is standard dished-head type
and the bottom part is conical.
