C. Tujuan Pembelajaran

Setelah menyelesaikan serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan

saintifik (5 M), ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan unjuk kerja siswa dapat mengidentifikasi,

menguraikan struktur teks, unsur kebahasaan, fungsi sosial, menggunakan, membuat dan

mendemonstrasikan percakapan singkat ungkapan selamat dan memuji bersayap serta responnya pada

teks lisan dan tulis yang tersedia dengan benar, lancar dan penuh percaya diri sesuai konteks.

Pertemuan I (2 JP)

A. Kegiatan Pendahuluan (10 menit)

 Guru memberi salam dan berdoa bersama;

 Guru mengecek kehadiran siswa

 Guru menyiapkan peserta didik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran;

 Guru menanyakan pelajaran sebelumnya untuk mereview pengetahuan siswa dan

mengaitkan dengan materi yang akan diajarkan dengan menunjukan sebuah gambar.

Mengamati (2 menit)

 Peserta didik mengamati sebuah video terkait ungkapan memberi ucapan

selamat. (Bahan ajar: Activity 1)

Menanya (15 menit)

 Guru menanyakan tentang pemahaman siswa terhadap video yang ditampilkan.

 Guru menanyakan ungkapan memberikan ucapan selamat yang digunakan

didalam video dan menanyakan ungkapan selamat beserta responnya yang

pernah mereka gunakan .

 Guru menanyakan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan terkait

ungkapan memberi ucapan selamat yang terdapat dalam video.

 Guru menyampaikan materi konseptual mengenai ungkapan selamat. (Bahan

Ajar: Activity 2)

Mengeksplorasi (15 menit)

 Siswa dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok, dimana 1 kelompok terdiri dari 4

orang siswa.

 Siswa diberikan 2 percakapan yang menggunakan ungkapan selamat. (bahan

Ajar: Activity 3)

 Siswa secara berpasangan membaca dengan keras percakapan yang diberikan

Mengasosiasi (30 menit)

 Didalam kelompok peserta didik berdiskusi menjawab pertanyaan yang

diberikan dan melengkapi tabel dengan menggunakan ungkapan selamat dan

responnya yang didapat dari percakapan yang dibaca. (Bahan Ajar: TASK I,II,

III )

 Guru bersama siswa membahas jawaban dari pertanyaan yang diberikan.

 Secara berkelompok, siswa membuat percakapan pendek tentang ungkapan

selamat berdasarkan situasi yang diberikan. (Bahan Ajar: TASK IV)

Mengkomunikasikan (13 menit)

 Guru menyuruh beberapa perwakilan kelompok siswa untuk

mendemonstrasikan hasil pekerjaannya di depan kelas.

 Guru memberikan umpan balik terhadap proses pembelajaran

 Guru menanyakan tentang pemahaman atau pendapat siswa terhadap video

yang ditampilkan.

 Guru menanyakan ungkapan memuji bersayap yang terdapat didalam video.

 Guru bertanya tentang ungkapan selamat yang pernah mereka gunakan dan

respon dari ungkapan tersebut lalu guru menulis ungkapan beserta responnya.

 Guru menanyakan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan terkait

ungkapan memuji bersayap dalam video.

 Guru menyampaikan materi konseptual mengenai ungkapan memuji bersayap.

Mengeksplorasi (20 menit)

 Siswa dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok dimana satu kelompok berjumlah 4

orang.

 Peserta didik membaca teks yang terdapat dalam gambar. (Bahan Ajar:

Activity 3)

 Siswa berdiskusi untuk menganalisis situasi yang ada pada gambar serta

mengidentifikasi ungkapan memuji bersayap dan responnya dengan

memasukkannya kedalam tabel. (Bahan Ajar: Task I)

 Siswa diberikan percakapan tentang ungkapan memuji bersayap. (Bahan Ajar:

Activity 4)

 Secara berpasangan siswa membaca dengan suara keras percakapan tentang

ungkapan memuji bersayap.

Mengasosiasi (25)

 Di dalam kelompok siswa berdiskusi untuk mengerjakan soal yang berkaitan

dengan percakapan. (Bahan Ajar: TASK II)

 Dengan bantuan guru, siswa bersama-sama membahas jawaban dari soal yang

diberikan.

 Secara berkelompok, siswa diminta untuk membuat dialog singkat tentang

 Beberapa perwakilan kelompok siswa diminta untuk membacakan dan

memperagakan percakapan yang telah disusun didepan kelas.

B. Pembelajaran Remediasi dan Pengayaan

 Pembelajaran remediasi dilakukan segera setelah kegiatan penilaian:

 Pembelajaran remidiasi diberikan kepada siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (besaran

angka hasil remediasi disepakati dengan adanya “penanda” yaitu angka sama dengan

KKM sekolah yaitu 70).

 Materi remedial yaitu fungsi sosial teks tentang ungkapan memberikan selamat dan

memuji bersayap (extended) dan memberikan contoh percakapan tentang ungkapan

selamat dan memuji bersayap.

 Pengayaan diberikan kepada siswa yang telah mencapai nilai KKM dalam bentuk

Membuat teks tertulis sederhana berbentuk dialog dan membuat kartu ucapan selamat

dan memuji bersayap.

By congratulating someone we are telling them that we are pleased to hear about good

luck or achievements.

In congratulating, people may make more than one move, for example, “Congratulations!

You deserved it, Man.” Similarly, in responding to congratulating expressions, people do

not only make one move, like “Thank you very much.” Usually they also say something

else such as “This is because you always help me”.

Social function of congratulating someone

- To develop interaction and communication with others.

- To express our happiness or positive feelings about their success, and also to maintain

good relationship among friends, classmate, fellow workers, collages, etc.

- To respond someone’s achievement or success.

Structure of congratulations

When we give congratulations, we may say more than one word or one sentence. Look at

the following example!

 Congratulations! You are great.

The following are some expressions of congratulations.

We can use the following responses.

Please note that never say ‘Congratulation!’ without ‘s’ when you congratulate others, you have

After a long struggle and hard work, Alif is finally appointed as the director of a national

company where he works. Many of his friends who work at the same company congratulate him.

Samuel : Alif, congratulations. You deserved it, man.

Sinta : I am very happy for you, Alif. Now, that you are the director of the company, I

believe the company will develop even faster.

COMPLIMENTING

Compliment is an expression to appreciate or praise other people. Compliment is useful

to give encouragement so that people will keep on doing their best and even improve

their performance.

When to express compliment:

- On daily basis,

- When someone has done his/her best,

- When you visit someone’s house for the first time,

- If you notice something new about someone’s appearance.

Can you think of other situation when you need to compliment?

Complimenting others

 Social function

o Compliments express approval and are aimed at showing that you like some

aspects of the other person’s appearance, belonging or work. It is also to

appreciate other people.

o Whom to Compliment:

 Anyone you have occasion to talk with (friends, family, colleagues, and

even strangers)

 On someone’s appearance: new car, new haircut, a piece of jewelry,

etc.

 On a person of his or her achievement/good deed: ‘You’ve done a great

job’

 On someone’s possession: ‘What a beautiful house you have.’
