B. Tujuan Pembelajaran
1. Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis
yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait niat melakukan suatu tindakan/kegiatan,
sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya. (Perhatikan unsur kebahasaan be going to, will).
2. Menyusun teks interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis pendek dan sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait niat melakukan suatu tindakan/kegiatan, dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai kontek serta mampu mempraktekan.

Slamet : What are you going to do after graduate?


Diana : Actually, I haven’t thought about that yet, but I think I’m going to try finding a
job because I really need money. What are you going to do?
Slamet : I’m going to continue studying for a master’s degree. At the same time, I’m
also planning to find a part-time job.
Diana : That’s cool! What major are you going to take?
Slamet : I’m going to take business administration major. I even already enrolled for the
entrance test.
Diana : Wow, you are so fast! When will the test be held?
Slamet : It will be held next month, but I don’t remember the exact date.
Diana : No wonder you’ve been studying very hard lately even though we’re going to
have graduation ceremony this Friday.

How to express our intentions:

- Sentence structure to express intentions using “will”

Good morning, our honorable teacher, Anita and my classmates.


First of all, I would like to thank God who has bestowed us for health and chance so we
can gather in this class. I also would like to thank Mrs. Anita and all of you who have given
me a chance to be the candidate of your class captain.
My name is Dewi Permata Sari and you can call me Dewi. I would like to say that
I would be extremely honored to be your class captain. I believe that I suit for the position
because I have leadership and communication skills as the basic skill for a leader. I
experienced as a class captain and a leader of organization and also attended scouts,
basketball and dance extracurricular activities at junior high school. I would like to involve
in organization and extracurricular activities in the school too.

My friends if I am elected as your class captain ,I will make the best commitment
to our class. I would like to lead and assist you to make our class be the best. we will make
a good friendship and keep togetherness Which will make our class great. I will encourage
