A. Expressing Hope and wish


We use hope and wish to express our desire or to pray for someone’s success, achievement,
and good fortune. (Kita gunakan hope dan wish untuk mengekspresikan harapan atau
mendoakan kesuksesan, pencapaian dan nasib baik seseorang)

Hope  to express a desire that possible or likely to happen (Harapan yang mungkin atau
dapat terjadi)

Kata Hope digunakan untuk menyatakan harapan yang bisa dan sangat mungkin
terjadi. Nah di sinilah letak perbedaan Wish dan Hope . Misalnya seperti ini, ketika

kamu sangat ingin atau berharap bisa membeli handphone baru tapi belum punya
tabungan sama sekali ya jatuhnya sih masih di “Wish”. Tapi jika kamu sudah
memiliki tabungan dan hanya kurang sedikit lagi kamu sudah bisa menggunakan
“Hope”.

e.g. I hope I can buy new smartphone this month. (Saya harap saya bisa membeli
smartphone baru bulan ini) -》 Karena sudah memiliki tabungan yang
jumlahnya kurang sedikit jadi ya tentu akaj segera terwujud dengan usaha lebih
giat menabung.
I hope you will get the good score (Saya harap kamu mendapat nilai yang
bagus) Mungkin bagi kamu mendapatkan nilai bagus
I hope COVID-19 disappears from the world. (Saya harap COVID-19 hilang
dari dunia ini) Mungkin virus corona hilang dari muka bumi ini.

Wish  to express a desire that impossible or unlikely to happen (Harapan yang tidak
mungkin terjadi)

Kata Wish dalam bahasa inggris digunakan untuk menyatakan harapan yang tidak
mudah atau mustahil untuk diwujudkan. Kata Wish juga sering kali digunakan untuk
mengekspresikan pengandaian, mengungkapkan doa, dan mengucapkan keinginan
dengan lebih sopan.

e.g. I wish he would tell me the secret. (Saya harap dia menceritakan rahasia itu)
Tidak mungkin bagi dia memberitahu tentang rahasia itu.
I wish I were there when the accident happened. (Aku harap ada di sana
saat kecelakaan itu terjadi) Aku tidak ada di sana saat kecelakaan berlangsung
jadi tidak mungkin terjadi.
I wish I could fly. (Aku harap aku bisa terbang) Rasanya tidak
mungkin manusia bias terbang

Banana Nugget

1. 7 ripened bananas
2. 4 tbsp sugar (optional)

4. 10 tbsp flour
5. 1 egg
6. 3 tbsp condensed milk
7. 100 gram bread crumbs/paneer panko
Steps
1. Blend bananas with blender or food processor or stone or whatever tool you have
2. Mix flour, egg, sugar, salt, condensed milk then pour it in a cake mold

3. Steam it for 35 minutes. After 35 minutes then rest the cake for about 10 minutes.

4. Cut the cake into bite shape (square) 4cm×4cm or shape u like.
5. Prepare flour and water. Then coat the cake in it.

6. Then coat it with panko or bread crumb.

7. Put in fridge for 20 minutes


8. Fry it then serve it
