KETUA PANITIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LINGUISTICS
AND CUTURE (ICLC-II)

Syukur alhamdulillah kita panjatkan ke hadirat Allah SWT. atas


rahmat dan hidayah-Nya yang dilimpahkan kepada kita sekalian sehingga
perhelatan International Conference on Linguistics and Culture II ini dapat
terlaksana dengan baik dan sukses walaupun di tengah wabah Covid-19.
Saya selaku ketua panitia mengucapkan banyak terima kasih
atas partisipasi berbagai pihak terutama pihak Universitas Hasanuddin dan
Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unhas yang telah memberikan dukungan yang sangat
berarti dalam menyukseskan acara ICLC-II ini.
Penerbitan kumpulan abstrak dari makalah ICLC-II merupakan
upaya panitia untuk menyusun abstrak makalah ICLC-II sebagai tanda
bahwa kegiatan ICLC-II telah dilaksanakan dengan sukses. Kumpulan
abstrak juga dapat menjadi bukti bahwa ICLC-II telah menghasilkan
sejumlah artikel dengan berbagai topik dengan tema “Isu-isu Terkini dalam
Bahasa, Sastra, Budaya” yang akan diselenggarakan pada tahun 2021.
Selanjunya, artikel yang dihasilkan dalam ICLC-II akan dipublikasi di
Atlantis Press. Dalam kumpulan abstrak ini, beberapa abstrak disertakan
bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar pembaca dapat lebih

I would like to express my gratitude to Allah SWT for the successful


implementation of the 2nd International Conference on Linguistics and
Culture (ICLC–2) which was held by the Faculty of Cultural Studies,
Hasanuddin University on November 4, 2021 in the Professor Mattulada
Hall. This international conference is held to explore the language, literature,
culture, and teaching which growing at present. The essence of all the
articles is summarized in this abstract collection book which enriches
scientific insight on the language, literature, culture, and teaching.
On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to the
committee, presenters, moderators, and the highest appreciation to the key
note speakers from France, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. I

Besse Of Toalean Human And Its Culture

Abstract. For about a century, scientists have searched for prehistoric (pre-
Neolithic) cultures that lived in caves in Sulawesi, called the Toalean.
Research results since 2015 can be reported on the first ancient human
genome from Wallace, the oceanic island zone between the Sunda Shelf
(consisting of mainland Southeast Asia and the continental islands of
western Indonesia) and Pleistocene Sahul (Australia–New Guinea). DNA
extracted from the petrous bone of a young female hunter-gatherer (named
Besse) buried 7300-7200 BP in the limestone cave Leang Panninge Maros
(South Sulawesi) Indonesia. Genetic analysis shows that these pre-Neolithic
explorers associated with the Toalean techno-complex, share the most
genetic drift and morphological similarities with today's Papuan and
Indigenous Australian groups, but represent a previously unknown distinct
human lineage that branched off around the time of separation between
these populations about 37,000 years ago. At Bess's skeleton, Denisovan
DNA has never been identified in pre-Neolithic human skeleton finds in
Southeast Asia. Thus, the ancestors of the Indonesian people not only came
from the Austromelanesoid and Mongolian races, but there were also other
races, namely the Denisovan race. Besse is clear evidence of Toalean
humans in Sulawesi.

Abstrak. Sekitar satu abad para ahli mencari tentang siap pendukung
budaya prasejarah (pre-Neolitik) yang hidup di gua-gua di Sulawesi, yang
disebut Toalean. Hasil penelitian sejak tahun 2015 dapat dilaporkan tentang
genom manusia purba pertama dari Wallacea, zona pulau samudera antara
Paparan Sunda (terdiri dari daratan Asia Tenggara dan pulau-pulau
kontinental di Indonesia bagian barat) dan Pleistosen Sahul (Australia–New
Guinea). Hasil ekstrak DNA dari tulang petrous seorang pemburu-
pengumpul wanita muda (diberi nama Besse) yang terkubur 7300 – 7200
BP di gua batu kapur Leang Panninge Maros (Sulawesi Selatan) Indonesia.
Analisis genetik menunjukkan bahwa penjelajah pra-Neolitikum ini yang
dikaitkan dengan teknokompleks Toalean, berbagi penyimpangan genetik
dan kesamaan morfologis paling banyak dengan kelompok Papua dan
Pribumi Australia saat ini, namun mewakili garis keturunan manusia berbeda
yang sebelumnya tidak diketahui yang bercabang sekitar waktu pemisahan
antara populasi ini sekitar 37.000 tahun yang lalu. Pada rangka Besse
ditemukan DNA Denisovan yang selama ini belum pernah teridentifikasi
pada temuan rangka manusia pra-Neolitik di Asia Tenggara. Dengan
demikian, nenek moyang banggsa Indonesia tidak hanya berasal dari ras
Austromelanesoid dan Mongoliod, tetapi ada juga ras lain, yaitu ras
Denisovan. Besse adalah bukti yang nyata tentang manusia Toalean di
Sulawesi.

History of Malay Writing Traditions in Japan

Abstract. Books on Indonesian/Malay language published in Japan have


more than a century of history. The number of books published before 1945
alone is more than a hundred. And for writing Indonesian/Malay, the
influence of the syllabic script used for Japanese is very large. The Kana
script which consists of Hiragana and Katakana is actually not suitable for
writing Indonesian/Malay. However, before the end of the Second World
War, the Japanese were not as familiar with the Latin script. The tradition of
writing Malay with Kana still has its influence in Indonesian/Malay language
textbooks in Japan until now, even though Japanese people are now
accustomed to using Latin script.

Abstrak. Buku tentang bahasa Indonesia/Melayu yang diterbitkan di Jepang


bersejarah lebih dari satu abad. Jumlah buku yang diterbitkan sebelum
tahun 1945 saja lebih dari seratus buah. Dan untuk menulis bahasa
Indonesia/Melayu, pengaruh aksara silabis yang digunakan untuk bahasa
Jepang sangat besar. Aksara Kana yang terdiri atas Hiragana dan Katakana
sebetulnya tidak sesuai untuk menulis bahasa Indonesia/Melayu. Akan
tetapi, sebelum selesai Perang Dunia Kedua, orang Jepang belum begitu
lazim terhadap aksara Latin. Tradisi penulisan bahasa Melayu dengan Kana
itu masih terdapat pengaruhnya dalam buku pelajaran bahasa
Indonesia/Melayu di Jepang sampai sekarang walaupun orang Jepang
sekarang ini sudah biasa menggunakan aksara Latin.

Abstrak. Kebanyakan khalayak sering mempersoalkan pentingnya


mempelarari kesusasteraan Melayu. Sejauhmanakah nilai yang diperolehi
apabila mengikuti pengajian kesusasteraan Melayu? Justeru dengan
adanya anggapan tidak pentingnya mempelajari kesusasteraan Melayu dan
tidak ada nilai mengikuti pengajian kesusasteraan Melayu, maka pengajian
kesusasteraan Melayu dipinggirkan. Dalam kehidupan kini, timbul anggapan
kebanyakan khalayak bahawa pengajian sains dan teknologi itu lebih
penting dan bernilai jika dibandingkan dengan pengajian kesusateraan
Melayu.

Abstrak. Penyelidikan pengaruh masyarakat Melayu Malaysia terhadap


masyarakat Melayu Patani, thailand. Khusus kepada penyelidikan di
perbatasan Negeri Kelantan-Patani. Negeri Kelantan (Malaysia) dan Patani
(Thailand Selatan) berkongsi sejarah, agama, bahasa, kebudayaan, dan
sebagai. Perjanjian Anglo-Siamese 1909 menyebabkan Negeri Kelantan
dan Patani terpisah secara geopolitik. Walaupun begitu pengaruh dikedua-
dua pihak masing masing mengalir diantara satu sama lain. Di sini akan
fokus kepada pengaruh masyarakat Melayu Kelantan dalam bidang
pendidikan agama Islam terhadap masyarakat Melayu Patani. Pengaruh
tersebut telah memberi dampak yang besar kepada masyarakat Melayu
Patani. Pengaruh di bidang pendidikan Islam dapat memajukan pendidikan
Melayu Patani. Dan juga pengaruh makanan masyarakat Melayu Kelantan
kepada masyarakat Melayu Patani. Terdapat lagi dampak terhadap
masyarakat Melayu Patani seperti makanan, pakaian dan lagu Melayu.
Dampak berkaitan makanan seperti makanan barat ialah mayarakat Melayu
Patani dapat melahirkan pembisnis makanan juga sesetengah bisa
membina kilang prosesnya sehingga dapat menjadi wirausaha mandiri.

The Similarity Of Indonesian And British Women's Views On Marriage


In The Novels Alisjahbana’s Layar Terkembang And Austen’s Pride
And Prejudice

Abstract. This article discusses the views of women related to marriage and
household from two different nations, namely Indonesia and Britain. Tuti is
an Indonesian woman in the novel Layar Terkembang by Sutan Takdir
Alisjahbana and Elizabeth Bennet is a typical British woman in the novel
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The writer in this article emphasizes
the similarity of two fictional characters’ views between Tuti and Elizabeth
about marriage and household. The data of this study were collected from
the novel Layar Terkembang and Pride and Prejudice. Structuralism
approach is used in processing data that emphasizes the intrinsic aspects of
literature, including characterizations. Data that has been processed then
analyzed through feminist literary criticism and explained descriptively which
describe the results of characterization analysis in the two literatures. Based
on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the similarity of Tuti and
Elizabeth's views of marriage are women should not deny marriage as part
of the journey of life, married by women should be based on common sense
not because of feelings; women are married because of consciousness not
because of men's appeal. Then, the similarity of their views of marriage are
women should be given the freedom to empower themselves so they do not
always rely on her husband and ignore them, women should be placed as
male partners in households not as rivals or slaves, wife-husband should
love each other and seek living together with realizing hope.

Abstrak. Makalah ini membahas pandangan perempuan terkait perkawinan


dan rumah tangga dari dua bangsa berbeda, yakni Indonesia dan Inggris.
Tuti adalah sosok perempuan Indonesia dalam novel Layar Terkembang
karya Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana dan Elizabeth Bennet adalah tipikal
perempuan Inggris dalam novel Pride and Prejudice karya Jane Austen.
Penulis dalam artikel ini menekankan persamaan pandangan kedua tokoh
fiksi Tuti dan Elizabeth tentang perkawinan dan rumah tangga. Data
penelitian ini dikumpulkan dari studi pustaka novel Layar Terkembang dan
Pride and Prejudice. Pendekatan Strukturalisme digunakan dalam mengolah
data yang menekankan pada aspek-aspek intrinsik karya sastra,
diantaranya penokohan. Data yang telah diolah, kemudian dianalisis melalui
kritik sastra feminis dan dijelaskan secara deskriptif yang menggambarkan
hasil analisis penokohan pada kedua sastra tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil
analisis disimpulkan bahwa kesamaan pandangan Tuti dan Elizabeth
tentang perkawinan adalah perempuan tidak boleh mengingkari pernikahan
sebagai bagian dari perjalanan hidup, perempuan menikah harus
berdasarkan akal sehat bukan karena memperturutkan perasaan,
perempuan menikah karena kesadaran bukan karena rayuan laki-laki.
Kemudian, kesamaan pandangan mereka tentang berumah tangga adalah
perempuan harus diberi kebebasan memberdayakan dirinya agar tidak
selamanya bergantung kepada suaminya dan tidak direndahkan,
perempuan harus ditempatkan sebagai mitra laki-laki dalam rumah tangga

bukan sebagai saingan atau hamba, Suami-istri harus saling mencintai dan
mencari nafkah bersama mewujudkan harapan.

literal and interpretative level of comprehension. The research design was a
quasi-experimental study using a sample of 60 students in the eleventh
grade at SMAN 22 Makassar. A pre-test and post-test were conducted to
measure students’ reading comprehension. The findings indicated that
students taught using blended learning model, in the form of face-to-face
driver model supported by Schoology platform, had significantly greater
improvement on the overall pre- to post-test than those who attended
traditional instruction. The findings contribute to pedagogical implication
where teachers need to be made aware of such model especially during the
pandemic era of Covid-19.

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to explain Minangkabau’s women in


Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih seen from ragam orang in Minangkabau culture.
Ragam orang is a personal human judgment that departs from the teachings
of Minangkabau philosophy. There are four categories of ragam orang which
are orang, takah orang, angkuh orang, and orang-orang. The results of this
study concluded that Minangkabau’s women in kaba Sabai Nan Aluih belong
to ragam orang with categories of orang. Orang are normal people who feel
the bad and good, the high and low, the dark and light just like everyone
else. Then feel ashamed if you can't be the same as other people.

Makassar Language Empowerment On The Use Of Indonesian


Language In Non-Formal Communication

Abstract. Ethnic Makassar includes multilingualism, namely using Makassar


language as an intra-ethnic language and Indonesian as an inter-ethnic
language. As a local language, Makassar language functions as a local
identity integrates with Indonesian in non-formal communication.
Furthermore, Indonesian was born from the embryo of the Malay language
which was raised to its status as a national language. As the national
language, Indonesian is used as the state language. In carrying out its
function as the state language, the government makes efforts to standardize
the Indonesian language so that it can be used in an orderly manner in
formal communication. This discussion focuses on the function of the
Makassar language as a local language and Makassar City government
policies related to the empowerment of the Makassar language in the
context of preserving the nation's culture.The source of the data is the
utterances of respondents who are domiciled in Makassar City and Gowa
Regency as many as twenty people who were selected purposively. They
have status as employees, teachers, junior and senior high school students,
and students. Data collection uses interview, recording, note-taking, and
document review techniques. The data is formulated descriptively according
to the facts of the language that has been used by the supporting
community. The results of this research showed that the Makassar language
had an effect on Indonesian, especially on the morphological aspects,
namely the presence of clitics and time markers. The Makassar City
Government always preserves and empowers the Makassar language such
as regular meetings related to local culture, re-activating cultural inheritance

Abstrak. Etnik Makassar dikenal sebagai suku Makassar yang mendiami


wilayah pesisir barat semenanjung Sulawesi Selatan, termasuk di dalamnya
wilayah Kabupaten Gowa. Etnik Makassar termasuk dwibahasawan, yaitu
menggunakan bahasa Makassar sebagai bahasa intraetnik dan bahasa
Indonesia sebagai bahasa antaretnik. Sebagai bahasa lokal, bahasa
Makassar berfungsi sebagai identitas lokal dan berintegrasi dengan bahasa
Indonesia dalam komunikasi nonformal. Selanjutnya, Bahasa Indonesia lahir
dari embrio bahasa Melayu yang telah diangkat statusnya menjadi bahasa
nasional. Sebagai bahasa nasional, bahasa Indonesia digunakan pula
sebagai bahasa negara. Dalam menjalankan fungsinya sebagai bahasa
negara, pemerintah Indonesia melakukan upaya standardisasi bahasa
Indonesia agar dapat digunakan secara tertib dalam komunikasi formal.
Pembahasan ini berfokus padapengaruh bahasa Makassar terhadap
bahasa Indonesia dan kebijakan pemerintah Kota Makassar berkaitan
dengan pemberdayaan bahasa Makassar dalam rangka pelestarian budaya
bangsa. Sumber data adalah tuturan responden yang berdomisili di Kota
Makassar dan Kabupaten Gowa sebanyak dua puluh orang pada saat
berinteraksi dalam situasi nonformal. Responden dipilih yang dipilih secara
purposif. Mereka berstatus sebagai pegawai, guru, siswa SLTP dan SLTA,
serta mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara,
rekam, catat, dan revieu dokumen. Data diformulasikan secara deskriptif
sesuai dengan fakta-fakta bahasa yang telah digunakan oleh masyarakat
pendukungnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa Makassar
berpengaruh terhadap bahasa Indonesia terutama pada aspek morfologi
yaitu: kehadiran klitika dan penanda waktu/kala.Pemerintah Kota Makassar

Abstract. Fairy tale was the literary works that entertained children and
provided positive benefits for them. Almost every child was very happy to
listen the parents or teachers who were telling stories. However, very few
students were ready to tell a story when they asked with the excuse of being
embarrassed and inability. The research was conducted to find a solution to
the difficulties of AL-YA'LU Superior Elementary School students in learning
storytelling, and to increase students' interest in participating in storytelling
activities as a fun activity by using BAHARI DONG method. The research
used a qualitative approach, in the form of Classroom Action Research. The
research encompassed several procedures: planning, implementation,
observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 20 students of third
grade of AL-YA'LU Superior Elementary School. The research data were
analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research was conducted in two
cycles with the completion at second cycle, which provided five simpler
fairytales, and students chose their own fairytales to be told. The ability
improvement of students' storytelling abilities from the initial conditions, first
cycle, and second cycle were (a) Improving interest in storytelling, 25%,
75%, and 90%; (b) The fluency of storytelling with grade average 65, 78, 92
(scale value 10-100) (c) Intonation and articulation with grade average 70,
82, became 88; The achievement of fairytale content reached grade average

76, 86, and 94; (e) Expressions with grade averages 65, 74, and 90. The
results of the research showed that The BAHARI DONG method is a good
solution to improve the storytelling ability of AL-YA'LU Superior Elementary

storytelling activities as a fun activity.

Abstract. The purpose of this research was to describe the intrinsic


elements contained in Gelong Sangpulo Dua. This study applies a
qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are the intrinsic
elements of Gelong Tallang, Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, and Gelong
Tedong, while the data source is the entire content of Gelong Tallang,
Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, and Gelong Tedong contained in the
Gelong Sangpulo two literary text compiled by Sande et al. in 1986. The
research data were collected using documentation techniques, interview
techniques, and text analysis techniques. The research data were analyzed
using qualitative data analysis techniques using an objective approach. The
results showed that there were relatively large/high similarities between
Gelong Tallang, Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, and Gelong Tedong.
Based on the results of data analysis in this study, it can be concluded that
(1) the themes of the four gelongs are praise to the gods performed by
humans as an expression of their gratitude for the gifts they have given; (2)
the four beams contain almost the same message, namely that humans
must be grateful for the gifts given to gods; (3) those used as symbols in the
four gelongs tend to be objects that are attached and considered sacred in
the life of the Toraja people; (4) the rhymes contained in the four loops
consist of initial rhyme, middle rhyme, and final rhyme with variations of
vowel and consonant repetitions; (5) the four gelongs are sung with
relatively the same rhythm, tone, and tempo, which are generally loud and
high at the beginning and end of the line, while in the middle of the line the
rhythm is moderate; (6) the style of language contained in the four groups

simile and personification.

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur


instrinsik yang terdapat dalam Gelong Sampulo Dua. Peneitian ini
menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini adalah
unsur intrinsik Gelong Tallang, Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, dan
Gelong Tedong, sedangkan sumber datanya adalah keseluruhan isi
Gelong Tallang, Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, dan Gelong Tedong
yang terdapat dalam teks sastra Gelong Sampulo Dua yang disusun oleh
Sande dkk. Pada tahun 1986. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan
dengan teknik dokumentasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik analisis teks.
Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data
kulaitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan objektif. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan adanya persamaan yang relatif besar/ tinggi antara Gelong
Tallang, Gelong Tabang, Gelong Tondok, dan Gelong Tedong.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan
bahwa (1) tema keempat Gelong tersebut adalah pengujian kepada
dewa-dewa yang dilakukan oleh manusia sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur
mereka atas karunia yang diberikannya; (2) keempat Gelong tersebut
mengandung amanat yang hampir sama, yaitu manusia harus
mensyukuri karunia yang diberikan oleh dewa; (3) yang dijadikan simbol
keempat Gelong itu cenderung berupa benda yang lekat dan dianggap
sakral dalam kehidupan orang Toraja; (4) rima yang terdapat pada
keempat Gelong tersebut terdiri atas rima awal, rima tengah, dan rima
akhir dengan variasi perulangan bunyi vokal dan konsonan; (5) keempat
Gelong tersebut dinyanyikan dengan irama, nada, dan tempo yang realitf
sama, yaitu umumnya keras dan tinggi pada awal dan akhir baris,
sedangkan pada pertengahan baris berirama sedang; (6) gaya bahasa

Javanese Nick Name System

Abstract. This paper aims at describing nick names used in Javanese


community. The research is focused on types of relation between the nick
names and the real names or the physical, mental, and behavioral
characteristics of the person they refer to, various referents and their
possible relations with the owners of the nick name. By analyzing data of
nick names found in Yogyakarta state and its environs, it is found that there
are at least four types of relation that hold between the nick names and the
real names or the characteristics of the owner’s nick names. Those are
arbitrary, formal, semantic, and similarity relation type. The nick names has
various referents (trade tool, house utensil, and others; shadow puppet and
traditional performance art characters; artists and film characters; animal, its
state, and excrement; supranatural creature; profession; food; plant and its
seed; Arabian names; traditional play and country) which are related or
ironically related with physical, mental, and behavioral characteristics and
conditions of the person to whom the nick names are intended to.

Abstrak. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendesripsikan nama-nama paraban


yang terdapat dalam komunitas bahasa Jawa. Penelitian difokuskan pada
relasi antara nama paraban dan nama formal, atau ciri mental dan perilaku
orang yang diacu oleh nama-nama paraban itu, referen serta berbagai
kemungkinan hubungan dengan pemilik nama paraban itu. Dengan
menganalisis nama-nama paraban yang ditemukan di Daerah Istimewa
Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya, ditemukan ada sekurang-kurangnya 4 tipe
hubungan antara paraban dengan nama formal atau karakteristik orang
yang memiliki paraban itu. Adapun keempat hubungan itu adalah hubungan
arbitrer, formal, semantik, dan keserupaan. Nama-nama paraban memiliki
berbagai referen, seperti peralatan, perabotan rumah tangga, wayang, tokoh
pertunjukan tradisional, artis dan tokoh film, binatang (keadaan, dan
kotorannya), mahluk supranatural, profesi, tanaman dan bijinya, nama arab,
permainan tradisional, dan negara. Nama-nama paraban itu berhubungan
atau secara ironis berhubungan dengan ciri fisik, mental dan perilaku orang
yang memilikinya.

-Tte as an End of Sentences Particle in Expressing Speaker’s Intention


on Japanese Natural Conversations

Abstract. Japanese is known as one of the languages in the world that has
a unique also complex informal forms at the same time. One of them is the
change of the particles form which presence on informal conversations and
may confuse most of Japanese advanced learners to use it
comprehensively. The particles that tend to experience changes on informal
conversational discourse are to iu and to omou which are commonly used in
expressing speaker’s explanation and personal thoughts or opinions. These
expressions will change into the same form in Japanese informal which is
known as –tte. The purpose of the research is to examine thoroughly the
meaning of -tte particles which is used Japanese informal conversations in
expressing speaker intentions in way to convey information, explain
conditions and deliver personal thoughts and request. So that the Japanese
advanced learners can understand the function of the meaning behind “-tte”
particles to support understanding the context of conversational discourse
comprehensively based on semantic theory of Djajasudarma (2016) and “-
tte” studies of Moritoki (1994), Hui (1999) also Maruyama (2002). This
research uses descriptive method with the object of study in the form of a
conversational sentences containing -tte particles taken from the Corpus of
Spontaneous Japanese, BTSJ-Japanese Natural Conversation Corpus and
Corpus of Everyday Japanese Conversation. From the results of data
analysis, it was identified that the meaning of the -tte particle in the end of
the sentences can be functioned as a hearsay, quotation, and interjection in
way to emphasizing speaker’s strong opinion, conveying a minus emotions,
and stating indirective request.

Abstract. Sapta Tirta Pablengan folklore found in Karanganyar Regency,


Central Java, is one of identities Javanese community which is full of local
values and wisdom. This study aims to describe and explain the value of
religious education in Sapta Tirta Pablengan folklore. This type of research
is descriptive qualitative with content analysis method. Methods of collecting
data consist of literature study, structured and in-depth interviews, and field
observations. The data analysis technique uses independent techniques and
flow analysis techniques. The theory used is the religious education value of
Glock and Stark, Mangunwidjaja, and Zuriah. The results of the study show
that it contains the value of religious education which is grouped into three
dimensions and the accompanying indicators. First, the dimension of belief
with indicators: (1) believing in God, (2) believing in God's destiny, (3)
surrendering to God, (4) sincere, and (5) practicing worship. Second, the
experience dimension with indicators: (1) helpful, (2) honest, (3) forgiving,
(4) keeping the mandate, (5) being responsible, and (6) hard work. Third, the
natural dimension with indicators of managing and conserving natural
affluence. Thus, Sapta Tirta Pablengan folklore can be recommended as
literature learning material in schools because it is full of religious character
education.

Abstrak. Cerita rakyat merupakan salah satu hasil budaya masyarakat


Indonesia yang syarat dengan nilai pendidikan moral sehingga diyakini
dapat memperkuat nilai kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah
mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan moral dalam cerita rakyat sebagai media
penguatan nilai kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif
dengan metode analisis isi. Metode pengumpulan data dengan studi
pustaka, wawancara terstruktur dan mendalam, serta observasi lapangan.
Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik mandiri dan teknik analisis
mengalir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan cerita rakyat mengandung nilai
pendidikan moral, yaitu: (1) nilai pendidikan moral individu meliputi nilai jujur,
pekerja keras, serta santun dan tahu balas budi;(2) nilai pendidikan moral
sosial meliputi nilai suka menolong dan bekerja sama; 3) nilai pendidikan
religi meliputi nilai percaya adanya Tuhan dan berserah diri pada Tuhan
atau tawakal. Nilai pendidikan moral yang terkandung dalam ceriat rakyat
dapat memperkuat nilai inti kearifan lokal, yaitu nilai kemakmuran atau
kesejahteraan dan nilai kedamaian atau kebaikan.

Abstract. This research discussed the rights of children and the cause of
unfulfilled children rights in the songs Heal the world by Michael Jackson,
Love will prevail by Maher Zein and Atouna El toefoule by Remi Bandali.
The aim of this research is to find out the actual rights of children and the
cause of unfulfilled children rights. This research based on psychological
approach based on Maslow (Hierarchy of Needs) and using the second
approach by Marxism theory by Karl Marx. The researchers applied
descriptive qualitative method. The researchers used note taking as the
instrument to find out valid data. The researchers found 25 data that
describing children's lives in the three song lyrics. 5 data in Physiological
needs, 10 data in safety needs, 4 data in social needs, 2 data in esteem
needs and 4 data in self-Actualization needs. And also, there are 20 data
that describe the reasons why children's rights are unfulfilled based on the
theory of Marxism by Karl Marx.

Utilization of Cultural Heritage Complex of the Tomb of the Kings of

Abstract. The Tomb Complex of the Kings of Hadat Banggae (hereinafter


will be written KM Raja-raja Hadat Banggae) is believed to be a burial
complex for kings and members of the Hadat council of the kingdom of
Banggae. The Hadat Banggae Council emerged during the reign of Daeng
Tamilanto (Mara'dia Banggae II or the 2nd king). The figure of Daeng
Tamilanto is said to have developed the kingdom's territory by embracing
traditional leaders (Tomakaka) around him. Utilization of open space by
people who engage in open area activities. this activity is often uncontrolled
and can damage the Cultural Heritage objects in the Tomb Complex of the
Kings of Hadat Banggae. The qualitative approach carried out in this study
was combined with a search of historical data literature and those related to
KM Raja-raja Hadat Banggae as well as interviews with community leaders,
visitors, local residents, KM Site maintainers.

Umpungeng Megalith Complex, Proto-Historic Settlement


in the Highlands of South Sulawesi, Indonesia

Abstract. This research discusses the Umpungeng megalith complex, a


historical proto-settlement in the highlands of Soppeng Regency, South
Sulawesi. The importance of this megalith complex is the authenticity and
completeness of its monuments, and still the use of a number of ritual
mediums for the spiritual purposes of the community. The method used is
the archaeological method as the main method, while textual analysis of
ancient manuscripts becomes a secondary method. Similarly, interviews are
also conducted to confirm artifactual information and ancient manuscript
information. The results showed that Umpungeng is an important toponym of
the Kingdom of Soppeng. The structure and pattern of Umpungeng
settlements follow a topography whose location is uneven. Megaliths that
serve as a cult medium are positioned in the middle while residential areas
are scattered far apart, following the topography of the mountains. The
contribution of this research is to provide an overview of the pattern of 14th-
century settlement in the highlands of South Sulawesi.

The Influence of Students' Perceptions about Reading Gardens and


Reading Interest on Reading Habits of Elementary School Students

Abstract. Reading habits that had a close relationship with reading interest
and the existence of a reading garden were very important things to be
developed in students. This study aimed to determine the effect of students'
perceptions about reading gardens and reading interest on reading habits in
Elementary School. This research type was an ex post facto. Data collection
techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The research
population was all students of Elementary School of Inpres PAI 2 in
academic year of 2020/2021. A sample of 127 students were selected by
using multistage random sampling technique. The data analysis technique
used were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis
were analysis of the mean, standard deviation, maximum score, minimum
score and total of frequency. Meanwhile, for inferential analysis to test the
hypothesis, multiple regression analysis was used which was preceded by
normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The results showed
that students' perceptions about reading gardens, students' reading interest,
and students' reading habits were in the medium category. In addition, it was
proven that students' perceptions about reading gardens and reading
interest had a significant effect on reading habits in Elementary School of
Inpres PAI 2.

Abstrak. Pengaruh Persepsi Siswa Tentang Taman Baca dan Minat


Baca terhadap, Kebiasaan Membaca di SD Inpres PAI 2. Penelitian ini
bertujuan (i) mengetahui gambaran persepsi siswa tentang taman baca di
SD Inpres PAI 2; (ii) mengetahui gambaran minat baca siswa di SD
Inpres PAI 2; (iii) mengetahui gambaran kebiasaan membaca siswa di SD
Inpres PAI 2; (iv) mendeskripsikan pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang
taman baca terhadap kebiasaan membaca di SD Inpres PAI 2; dan (v)
mendeskripsikan pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang taman baca dan minat
baca terhadap kebiasaan membaca di SD Inpres PAI 2. Metode
Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentaasi. Populasinya
adalah seluruh siswa SD Inpres PAI 2 tahun ajaran 2019-2020.Teknik
penyampelan yang digunakan adalah Multistage random sampling
sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 127 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data yang
digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang taman baca di SD
Inpres PAI 2 berada pada kategori sedang, secara umum siswa siswa
menyatakan taman baca yang ada di SD Inpres PAI 2 memenuhi
kebutuhan siswa dalam membaca. Minat baca di SD Inpres PAI 2 berada
pada kategori sedang, siswa hanya membaca semaunya dan seperlunya
saja. Persepsi siswa tentang taman baca berpengaruh signifikan
terhadap kebiasaan membaca di SD Inpres PAI 2. Minat baca. Persepsi
siswa tentang taman baca dan minat baca berpengaruh signifikan secara
bersama-sama terhadap kebiasaan membaca di SD Inpres PAI 2.

Abstract.This study aims to describe: The form of the main character's inner
conflict in the novel Athirah by Albertiene Endah and the attitude of the main
character in dealing with his inner conflict. The data source of this research
is the novel Athirah by Albertiene Endah with a number of 404 pages, which
was published by PT Mirzan Publica, South Jakarta in 2013. The method of
data collection was carried out by reading techniques, note.novel Athirah's
and the main character's attitude in dealing with his inner conflict. The
results of this study are as follows: - The form of the main character's inner
conflict includes anxiety about the nature and behavior of her husband, the
presence of people third in the household, become the subject of gossip
from the community, face his bitter life in polygamy, defending his love and
family, crisis family economy due to the presence of a second wife, accused
of destroying the family honey, a woman lives in the realm of no family
planning, despair and cover up heartache until the end of his life. The main
character's attitude in dealing with his inner conflict includes being patient in
dealing with all accusations in his honey's household, sincerity, namely
letting his husband go to polygamy, trusting in accepting the trials he
experiences, and the struggle of a Bone woman in a polygamous life.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: Wujud konflik


batin tokoh utama dalam novel athirah karya albertiene endah dan sikap
tokoh utama dalam menghadapi konflik batinnya. Sumber data penelitian ini
adalah novel Athirah karya Albertiene Endah dengan jumlah halaman 404,
yang diterbitkan oleh PT Mirzan Publika Jakarta selatan pada tahun
2013.Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca,
catat.Penelitian yang dilakukan berupa wujud konflik tekanan batin yang
dialami tokoh utama dalam novel Athirah dan sikap tokoh utama dalam
menghadapi konflik batinnya.Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut : - Wujud
konflik batin tokoh utama meliputi kegelisahan tentang sifat dan tingkahlaku
suaminya,hadirnya orang ketiga dalam rumah tangga, menjadi bahan
pergunjingan masyarakat,menghadapi kehidupan pahitnya di poligami,
mempertahankan cinta dan keluarganya, krisis ekonomi keluarga karena
hadirnya istri kedua, dituduh merusak keluarga madunya, seorang wanita
hidup dalam ranah tanpa KB, putus asa dan mentupi luka hatinya hingga
akhir hayatnya. -Sikap tokoh utama dalam menghadapi konflik batinnya
meliputi sikap sabar dalam menghadapi segala tuduhan dalam masalah
rumah tangga madunya, ikhlas yakni mengiklaskan suaminya
untun berpoligami, tawakal dalam menerima cobaan yang dialaminya, dan
perjuangan seoramg wanita bone dalam kehidupan dipoligami.

The Hyponymy Of Word Containing Palakependhem Concept In


Javanese

Abstract. This research is important because it refers to food substitutes for


(traditional) Javanese. However, the name and concept of palakependhem
is almost forgotten by its speakers. In fact, the term palakependhem is not
yet included in the Javanese Dictionary (Bausastra Jawa). The aim of this
study is to describe a set of leksem that is covered in palakependhem, its
shared meaning and diagnostics, and its hierarchical structure. The
approach used is intentional with the contextual method and meaning
component analysis. The theory used is the hyponymy relationship. The
result shows that a set of leksem covered in palakependhem totaled, at
least, fourteen. Its existence builds a branched and unbranched hierarchy
structure on the basis of shared meaning and its disgnostic meaning. The
result is beneficial to the development of lemma and refinement of
explanations of lemma in the dictionary. Theoretically, the result of this study
can be used as material for developing linguistic theory, especially
semantics of languages in the archipelago.

Abstract. The 2013 curriculum affirms that formal learning must be student-
centered, conducted with a scientific approach, and apply authentic
assessment using the principle of assessment of learning that can assess
the readiness, process, and learning outcomes of learners as a whole.
Authentic assessment as an assessment model is believed to be able to
measure the learning success of learners from the affective, cognitive, and
psychomotor realms. The problem in this study is 1) how to apply authentic
assessment in the learning of language skills; 2) what are the forms of
authentic assessment used in learning language skills?; and 3) how is the
effectiveness of authentic assessments in improving learners' language
skills?. The research method used is library research (literature study) from
25 journals and proceedings on authentic assessment in language learning
from 2009-2021. The results in this study are 1) in general teachers do not
understand and apply authentic assessment in language learning, 2) the
most dominant form of authentic assessment used by teachers is
performance assessment and portofolio assessment, 3) effective authentic
assessment in language learning.

Abstract. Biak is a Papuan tribe inhabiting the Biak Island, in the


Cenderawasih Bay, to the north of the mainland Papua. This tribe has a
type of traditional folk songs called wor, understood both as an ancestral
religious ritual and folk songs. This type of folk songs has a kadwor or tip
and a fuar or root. It is sung for various social functions and occasions
such as welcoming community leaders; telling the experience of an
individual or somebody else’s, expressing gratitude to Manseren Nanggi,
comforting those who are sad, etc., accompanied by a traditional musical
instrument called tandip. There is quite a number of different wor but this
study found 10 general types: Kankarem, Byeuser, Erisam, Kayoub,
Mamun, Wonggei, Arbur, Kansyaru, Randan, and Morinkin. This article
aims at analyzing metaphorical expressions found in lyrics of the ten
types of wor. Supported by Zoltan’s 13 common sources of metaphors
(2010), this article explores the metaphorical expressions using Haley’s
hierarchy of human perceptions to see how wide the human perceptions
found in the metaphors are through the hierarchy: being, cosmos, energy,
substance, terrestrial, object, living, animate, human. The descriptions will
explain the symbolic object in the metaphorical expressions to determine
what level of the hierarchy the symbolic

Abstrak. Biak adalah suku Papua yang mendiami Pulau Biak, di Teluk
Cenderawasih, di sebelah utara daratan Papua. Suku ini memiliki jenis lagu
daerah tradisional yang disebut wor, dipahami baik sebagai ritual
keagamaan leluhur maupun lagu daerah. Jenis lagu daerah ini memiliki
kadwor atau ujung dan fuar atau akar. Lagu ini dinyanyikan untuk berbagai
acara dan acara sosial seperti penyambutan tokoh masyarakat;
menceritakan pengalaman seseorang atau orang lain, mengungkapkan rasa
terima kasih kepada Manseren Nanggi, menghibur mereka yang sedih, dll,
dengan diiringi alat musik tradisional yang disebut tandip. Ada cukup banyak
jenis pekerjaan yang berbeda tetapi penelitian ini menemukan 10 jenis
umum: Kankarem, Byeuser, Erisam, Kayoub, Mamun, Wonggei, Arbur,
Kansyaru, Randan, dan Morinkin. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis
ekspresi metafora yang ditemukan dalam lirik sepuluh jenis kata. Didukung
oleh 13 sumber umum metafora Zoltan (2010), artikel ini mengeksplorasi
ekspresi metafora menggunakan hierarki persepsi manusia Haley untuk
melihat seberapa luas persepsi manusia yang ditemukan dalam metafora
melalui hierarki: makhluk, kosmos, energi, substansi, terestrial, objek, hidup,
bernyawa, manusia. Uraian tersebut akan menjelaskan objek simbolik
dalam ekspresi metaforis untuk menentukan tingkat hierarki simbolik

Abstract. The title of this article is Inflectional Morphology in Uab Meto


Language: Generative Morphological Approach. The aim of this research is
to find out the types of inflectional morphology in Uab Meto language, the
distribution of inflectional morphology in Uab Meto language and the
grammatical meaning of inflectional morphology in Uab Meto language. As
the object in this research is Uab Meto language, that used in Bijaepunu
Village, North Molo District, South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa
Tenggara Province. Theoretical approach is used to analyze the research
problems is morphology generative by Aronoff, namely ‘Word Base
Morphology or Lexeme Base’. The research method used is descriptive
qualitative method in which the data are described by written statements and
not statistical formations. The research data is obtained used the
observation and interlocution method. The data collected are interviewing
and recording from informants as the native speaker of Uab Meto Uab Meto
language that lives in Bijaepunu language. The researcher find out three
types of inflectional morphology in Uab Meto language, namely affix /n/, /in/
and /sin/, they are using in noun and verb. The using of affix /n/, /in/, and
/sin/ that follows with deletion and displacement of phoneme. Affix /n/, /in/
and /sin/ have a function as suffix and they are categorized into bound
morpheme.The result analysis of the third inflectional morphology /-n/, /-in/
and /-sin/ in Uab Meto language shows that, the grammatical meaning of
these affixes display of plural meaning when they are added to lexeme base
and it is to describe the object and the action is doing more then one and
more then times.

Abstrak. Muhammad Haji Salleh merupakan seorang Sasterawan Negara


Malaysia dan seorang penyair yang sangat peka terhadap persekitaran
yang melingkari hidupnya. Beliau telah mentranformasikan kembara
hidupnya di seluruh pelusuk dunia ke dalam bait-bait puisi yang indah.
Unsur kemanusiaan seringkali diangkat sebagai objek utama yang
sekaligus sebagai azimat kepada khalayak. Kajian yang mengaplikasikan
Pendekatan Moral ini, bertujuan meneroka pelukisan watak manusia
Nusantara dan elemen nilai tempatan yang digarap oleh Muhammad Haji
Salleh menerusi puisi-puisi beliau. Sebanyak 50 karya puisi terpilih SN
Muhammad Hj Salleh telah dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.
Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa puisi-puisi SN Muhammad Haji Salleh
banyak memperlihatkan jiwa bangsa Nusantara seperti Indonesia, Brunei
Darussalam, Malaysia, Singapura dan sebagainya. Lanjutan dari itu, hasil
kajian juga turut mendapati bahawa puisi-puisi beliau sarat nilai seperti
ketabahan, kerajinan, bertanggungjawab dan mempercayai tuhan yang
menjadi tunjang kepada jati diri bangsa Nusantara.

Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the education system in


the world, one of which requires schools to implement an emergency
curriculum in learning. This has both positive and negative impacts on
students, teachers and schools. In addition, it can also affect the creativity
of students during the teaching and learning process. This study aims to
describe the impact of implementing an emergency curriculum on student
creativity in learning in vocational schools during the Covid-19 pandemic.
There are two different findings, namely the positive impact and negative
impact in the world of education. This research is presented in a
descriptive form with a qualitative research domain that analyzes the
impact of implementing an emergency curriculum on students' creativity in
learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sources of research data were
taken from interviews, documentation and direct observation. The
collected data was then analyzed using interactive analytical techniques
which were validated using triangulation of data, theories, methods and
researchers. The findings in this study are to reveal the impact of
implementing the emergency curriculum on student creativity in learning
during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is evidenced by the document data of
student assignments and the realities that emerged during the research.
In practice, this study produces new knowledge about the difference in
reality between the positive and negative impacts of implementing the
emergency curriculum on student creativity in learning in vocational
schools during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstrak. Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah sistem pendidikan di seluruh


dunia salah satunya menuntut sekolah untuk menerapkan kurikulum darurat
dalam pembelajaran secara daring. Menurut hasil survei cepat
pembelajaran dari rumah yang dilakukan di 34 provinsi di Indonesia, ada
97,6% sekolah yang telah menerapkan pembelajaran secara daring dengan
total responden 988 kepala sekolah pada setiap jenjang pendidikan dari
sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas/kejuruan. Perubahan sistem
pendidikan yang mendadak ini menimbulkan dampak positif dan negatif bagi
siswa, guru dan sekolah. Selain itu juga dapat mempengaruhi kreativitas
siswa selama proses belajar-mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mendeskripsikan dampak implementasi kurikulum darurat terhadap
kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran apresiasi drama di SMK pada masa
pandemi Covid-19. Selain ada dua temuan berbeda yaitu dampak positif
dan dampak negatif kurikulum darurat dalam dunia pendidikan, penelitian ini
juga memperlihatkan bagaimana kreativitas siswa selama pembelajaran
daring dilakukan. Penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif dengan
ranah penelitian kualitatif yang menganalisis dampak implementasi
kurikulum darurat terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pada
masa pandemi Covid-19. Sumber data primer penelitian diambil dari
wawancara secara langsung maupun dengan menggunakan media sosial,
dokumentasi dan pengamatan langsung, sedangkan sumber data sekunder
diperoleh dari data nilai keterampilan menulis naskah drama. Data yang
terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang
divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi data, teori, metode dan peneliti. Temuan

dalam penelitian ini adalah mengungkap dampak implementasi kurikulum


darurat terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran pada masa pandemi
Covid-19. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan data dokumen hasil tugas siswa serta
realita yang muncul saat dilakukan penelitian. Pada pelaksanaannya, kajian
ini menghasilkan pengetahuan baru tentang perbedaan realita antara
dampak positif dan dampak negatif implementasi kurikulum darurat terhadap
kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran di SMK pada masa pandemi Covid-
19.

Increasing Speaking Skills Through the Drama Method In Class V

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research that aims to


improve speaking skills through the drama method in fifth-grade students
of SD Unggulan Putra Kaili Permata Bangsa. The subjects of this study
were class V students in the 2021/2022 academic year as many as 16
students consisting of 9 boys and 7 girls. Preliminary observation results
show that 77% of fifth-grade students at SD Unggulan Putra Kaili Permata
Bangsa do not yet have good speaking skills. The average score of
student learning outcomes after the action in the first cycle was 71.15.
The number of students who have completed the first cycle is 9 people or
56.25% and 7 people who have not completed or 43.75%. After being
continued in cycle II, the average score of student learning outcomes on
speaking subject matter was 79.85%. With the number of students who
have passed in this cycle, there are 14 people or 87.50% and 2 people
who have not passed or 12.50%. Based on the results of the assessment
of speaking skills in the first cycle of action, the pronunciation aspect
averages 61.50, the intonation aspect averages 61.50, the fluency aspect
averages 67.75, and the expression aspect averages 66.00. Of the four
aspects assessed, 2 of them did not reach the KKM (65) two aspects had
reached the KKM but were not satisfactory. The factor causing the first
cycle is that the students' activity in learning has not been maximized so
that it affects their speaking ability. Efforts are made in the next action is
to improve the detailed learning scenario and maximize student potential
by motivating students. The results of the second cycle of action, the
pronunciation aspect is 82.70, the intonation aspect is 78.75, the fluency

aspect is 80.30, and the expression aspect is 73.75. Overall, it has


reached the KKM so that the learning is declared successful.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan


untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode drama pada
siswa kelas V SD Unggulan Putra Kaili Permata Bangsa. Subjek
penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 sebanyak
16 orang siswa yang terdiri atas 9 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Hasil
observasi awal menunjukkan 77% siswa kelas V SD Unggulan Putra Kaili
Permata Bangsa belum memiliki kemampuan berbicara yang baik. Skor
rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I
adalah 71,15. Dengan banyaknya siswa yang telah tutnas pada siklus I
adalah 9 orang atau 56,25% dan yang belum tuntas ada 7 orang atau
43,75%. Setelah dilanjutkan pada siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil
belajar siswa terhadap materi pelajaran berbicara adalah 79,85%.
Dengan banyaknya siswa yang telah lulus pada siklus ini ada 14 orang
atau 87,50% dan yang belum lulus ada 2 orang atau 12,50%.
Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kemampuan berbicara pada tindakan siklus
1, aspek pelafalan rata-rata 61,50, aspek intonasi rata-rata 61,50, aspek
kelancaran rata-rata 67,75 dan aspek ekspresi rata-rata 66,00. Dari
empat aspek yang dinilai 2 di antaranya tidak mencapai KKM (65) dua
aspek sudah mencapai KKM namun belum memuaskan. Faktor penyebab
siklus I adalah belum maksimalnya aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran
sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan berbicaranya. Upaya yang
dilakukan pada tindakan selanjutnya adalah memperbaiki skenario
pembelajaran secara terperinci dan memaksimalkan potensi siswa
dengan memotivasi siswa. Hasil tindakan siklus 2, aspek pelafalan rata -

rata 82,70 aspek intonasi rata-rata 78,75, aspek kelancaran rata-rata


80,30 dan aspek ekspresi rata-rata 73,75. Secara keseluruhan sudah
mencapai KKM sehingga pembelajaran dinyatakan berhasil.

Lecturer’s Nonverbal Communication in Teaching to English Education

Abstract. This study aimed at identifying nonverbal communication in


teaching English education Undergraduate students. This research
employed a descriptive qualitative research design. The instrument of this
study involved interview, passive participant observation, and
documentation. The subject of this research is the lecturers who teaches at
English education undergraduate students in Universitas Sulawesi Barat.
The data analysis as employed based on procedure of data analysis
suggested by Miles and Huberman (1994) that consisted of step data
collection, reduction, display, and conclusion/veriyfying. The result of this
study showed that the lecturer’s nonverbal commuinication are by starting
and ending the lesson on time, being enthusiastic in teaching, looking at the
class while teaching, using gesture while talking to the class, using vocal
variety, smiling at the class while talking, dressing neatly, having a relaxed
body posture while talking to the class, having eye contact when calling on a
students’ name, nodding along students’ responses, coming closer to the
students when lecturing, walking from back to the front and side-to-side
between rows when teaching (moving around the class when teaching),
looking very little at board or notes while talking to the class, and shaking
hands with students.

Abstrak. Penyampaian pesan di era informasi dewasa ini marak terjadi di


masyarakat, khususnya di Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) yang dimediasi telefon
genggam dengan cara sms(short message service). Kosakatanya disingkat
secara arbitrer sehingga terkadang merusak tatanan bahasa sekaligus
membingungkan penerimanya. Sejatinya, adanya pesan ‘sms’ dari budaya
lokal yang bernilai melalui lagu-lagu daerah (LLD) mengalami kepesatan
dalam struktur dan isi seni musik, khusus vokal etnis. Dalam perkembangan
sejarah lagu-lagu daerah, khusus di Sulut, sudah dikenal sejak pertengahan
abad kesembilan besar. Yang dikenang dari LLD itu diistilahkan dengan
‘lagu dolu-dolu’ yang merupakan nyanyian-nyanyian menggunakan bahasa
Melayu yang dikenalkan oleh Residen Manado Albert Jacques Frederik
Jansen, pada 28 Agustus 1859, sebagai nyanyian khayak dibawakan 48
orang mayor, hukumbesar, hukum kedua, yang menerima paying
penghargaan oleh Belanda kepada pribumi, yaitu Brij khormat
(Tambayong,2007:142-3). Sejak itu, LLD mengalami transformasi sebagai
lagu-lagu rakyat(volksong) atau popsong yang sangat populer untuk
dinyanyikan. Menurut etnolmusikolog, Prof.Dr. Perry Rumengan M.Sn dalam
Hubungan Fungsional: Struktur Musikal - Aspek Ekstramusikal Musik Vokal
Etnik Minahasa (2010:29): ‘’Bahasa musik vokal telah menunjukkan satu
langkah yang lebih tinggi dan lebih dalam dibanding bahasa yang lain dalam
mengungkapkan ekspresi jiwa. Jiwa di sini bukan hanya jiwa komposer,
tetapi juga jiwa serta kondisi alam semesta berserta segenap isinya. Isi yang
dimaksudkan dalam LLD yang dikaji ini, antara lain memuat pesan berupa
peringatan, kerinduan, kegamangan, kesedihan, kebahagiaan dan
kedamaian. Pesan dalam LLD, meskipun telah lama tercipta, namun hingga
kini masih terpelihara dan kuat menginspirasi sendi-sendi kehidupan sosial
kemasyarakatan, terutama pada struktur masyarakat Sulut yang memiliki
keragaman etnik dan budayanya.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini berjudul Interferensi Bahasa Makassar ke dalam


Bahasa Indonesia Pedagang sayur di Kota Makassar dengan kajian
sosiolinguistik. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk
interferensi bahasa Makassar ke dalam bahasa Indonesia pedagang sayur
keliling dan (2) faktor-faktor memegaruhi terjadinya interferensi bahasa
Makassar ke dalam bahasa Indonesia pedagang sayur keliling di Kota
Makassar. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode
simak dengan teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Metode simak adalah metode
yang digunakan dalam penelitian bahasa yakni dengan menyimak
penggunaan bahasa yang dituturkan penjual sayur keliling dan pembeli di
Kota Makassar. Adapun teknik catat yaitu mencatat fenomena penggunaan
bahasa dalam transaksi antara penjual sayur keliling dengan pembeli.

Abstract.This study aims to reveal the diversity of understanding of rituals in


Islam. Islam is a religion that has the main reference as a way of life and
guidelines for worship, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. In the socio-cultural
reality, there are differences in religious diversity between one group and
another. The approach used in understanding the diversity of rituals is a
multi-truth approach. This approach assumes that a truth is true according to
that truth, without blaming other underlying truths. NU as an Islamic religious
group carries out tahlilan and qunut rituals at Fajr prayers; it is the truth,
while the Muhammadiyah group does not perform that ritual; it is also a
truth. They all have their principles of truth. This research is descriptive
qualitative research. The research method used in data collection is
participatory observation and in-depth interviews as well as reading and
reviewing the references used by each Islamic group. The results show that
the occurrence of the phenomenon of ritual diversity is a multi-truth based
on different interpretations.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap keragaman pemahaman


beritual dalam agama Islam. Agama Islam merupakan suatu agama yang
memiliki rujukan utama sebagai pedoman hidup dan pedoman beribadah,
yaitu Al Quran dan Hadis. Dalam realitas sosial-budaya tampak perbedaan
keragaman beritual antara kelompok yang satu dengan kelompok yang lain.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam memahami keragaman beritual adalah
pendekatan multikebenaran. Pendekatan ini berasumsi bahwa suatu
kebenaran, benar menurut kebenaran itu, tanpa menyalahkan kebenaran
lain yang berasas. NU sebagai suatu kelompok keagamaan Islam
melaksanakan ritual tahlilan dan qunut pada salat Subuh; hal itu adalah
kebenaran, sedangkan kelompok Muhammadiyah tidak melakukan ritual
tersebut; hal tersebut juga suatu kebenaran. Semuanya memiliki asas
kebenaran masing-masing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif
deskriptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data
adalah partisipasi observasi dan wawancara mendalam serta membaca dan
mengkaji referensi yang digunakan oleh setiap kelompok keislaman. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya fenomena keragaman beritual
merupakan multikebenaran yang berasas melalui interpretasi yang berbeda.

Sikap Bahasa Masyarakat Gantarang terhadap Bahasa Konjo

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan sikap bahasa masyarakat


penutur bahasa Konjo di kecamatan Gantarang terhadap bahasa Konjo,
khususnya yang ada di desa Benteng Gantarang. Metode yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini, yakni metode survei, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 13,3% responden sangat tidak setuju (STS);
66,7% responden tidak setuju (TS); jika bahasa Konjo harus
diajarkan/diperoleh anak-anak di rumah; hanya 13,3% yang setuju dan
selebihnya memilih netral (N). Adapun pernyataan ke-2, yakni bahasa Konjo
harus dijadikan bahasa utama dalam komuniasi sehari-hari di rumah
ditanggapi TS sebanyak 66,7%; 26,7% responden S, dan sisanya STS.
Pernyatan ke-3, yakni bahasa Konjo harus digunakan di sekolah dasar
(khususnya kelas 1 sampai kelas 3), ditanggapi reponden TS sebanyak
86,7% dan sisanya menanggapi S. Kemudian, pernyataan ke-4, yakni
bahasa Konjo perlu diajarkan di sekolah, sebanyak 80% responden TS;
13,3% S; dan sisanya memilih N. Adapun pernyataan ke-5, yakni Bahasa
Konjo adalah kebanggaan orang Konjo ditanggapi S sebanyak 60%; 13,3%
SS; Selebihnya memilih sikap N. Pada pernyataan ke-6, yakni ketika
bertemu dengan sesama orang Konjo harus menggunakan bahasa Konjo
ditanggapi S sebanyak 73,3% oleh responden; bahkan ada 20% responden
yang menanggapi SS; dan sisanya bersikap N. Sebanyak 53,35 responden
memilih SS dan 40% S bahwa Bahasa Konjo melestarikan budaya daerah,
dan sisanya memilih bersikap N.

Application of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model in Improving


Indonesian Writing Skills in Covid 19 Pandemic Period

Abstract. The learning situation and conditions during the Covid-19


pandemic in the last two years have brought many changes in teaching
systems and activities. Teachers or lecturers respond with various
innovations and creativity. One form of the invention carried out by teachers
is by utilizing learning technology media. With technology media, the
learning process becomes active, and learners become motivated. This
classroom research study was conducted by applying the Flipped
Classroom learning model assisted by the Zoom meet and WhatsApp
applications. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the
Pliffed Classroom model in improving Indonesian language skills and
proficiency among students studying Indonesian courses. The study used
the classroom research method with basically 35 students in the first
semester of the MKU Indonesian language course. The results showed that
applying the Flipped Classroom model could improve students' writing
interaction skills especially Indonesian language rules, in writing scientific
papers. Students have carried out intensive learning activities outside of
online classes, using the WhatsApp application to communicate between
students and teachers. Learning activities in online courses run modifiers
students can discuss and share modifying because students have
previously studied the teaching materials discussed in online classes. The
application of this model is considered effective in improving students'
scientific writing skills.

Abstrak. Situasi dan kondisi pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid 19 dua


tahun terakhir ini telah membawa banyak perubahan dalam sistem dan
aktivitas pengajaran. Guru ataupun dosen menyikapi dengan berbagai
inovasi dan kreativitas. Salah satu bentuk kreativitas yang dilakuakan oleh
pengajar yakni dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi pembelajaran.
Dengan media teknologi itulah proses pembelajaran menjadi aktif dan
pembelajar menjadi termotivasi. Penelitian classroom research ini dilakukan
dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Flipped Classroom berbantuan
aplikasi Zoom meet dan WhatsApp. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna
mengetahui keefektifan model Pliffed Classroom dalam meningkatkan
keterampilan dan kemahiran berbahasa Indonesia di kalangan mahasiswa
yang belajar mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan
metode classroom research dengan populasi mahasiswa semester 1 yang
berjumlah 35 orang pada mata kuliah MKU Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Flipped Classroom ini
dapat meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi mahasiswa dalam menulis
khususnya penerapan kaidah bahasa Indonesia dalam menulis karya tulis
ilmiah. Mahasiswa telah melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran intensif di luar
kelas online yakni memanfaatkan aplikasi WhatsApp dalam berkomunikasi
antarmahasiswa dan antarpengajar. Kegiatan belajar dalam kelas daring
berjalan lancar karena mahasiswa mampu berdiskusi dan berkomunikasi
dengan lancar disebabkan oleh mahasiswa telah mempelajari sebelumnya
materi-materi ajar yang akan dibahas dalam kelas daring. Penerapan model

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to try getting the message contained
in memes during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the descriptive
method, which describes the messages contained in memes during the
covid-19 pandemic. Data sources are taken from online sources such as
https://9gag.com/gag/amPbGrX. The results obtained are that during the
COVID-19 pandemic, the community must maintain the health protocol. The
impact of this research is that linguistic phenomena can occur with certain
conditions in society. The recommendation from this article is that the
community must be able adapting to the conditions that occur around it,
such as the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic case by looking at the
communication delivered through social media.

digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, yaitu mendeskripsikan pesan-pesan
yang terdapat dalam meme selama masa pandemi covid-19. Sumber data
diambil dari sumber online seperti https://9gag.com/gag/amPbGrX. Hasil
yang diperoleh adalah selama pandemi COVID-19, masyarakat harus
menjaga protokol kesehatan. Dampak dari penelitian ini adalah fenomena
kebahasaan dapat terjadi dengan kondisi tertentu di masyarakat.
Rekomendasi dari artikel ini adalah masyarakat harus mampu beradaptasi
dengan kondisi yang terjadi di sekitarnya, seperti munculnya kasus pandemi
COVID-19 dengan melihat komunikasi yang disampaikan melalui media
sosial.

Numeralia dalam Bahasa Sawai

Abstrak. Bahasa Sawai merupakan salah satu bahasa daerah di Maluku


Utara. Bahasa ini dituturkan oleh masyarakat Desa Lelilef dan Desa
Sagea di Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah. Bahasa ini memiliki keunikan
dan keragaman dalam sistem numeralia. Penelitian ini bertujuan
mendeskripsikan bentuk dan jenis numeralia pokok serta posisi numeralia
pokok bahasa Sawai dalam frasa. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan
metode deskriptif dalam analisis data. Bentuk numeralia pokok dalam
bahasa Sawai adalah monomorfemis dan polimorfemis. Numeralia satu
sampai dengan sepuluh dan kelipatan puluhan, seratus, dan seribu
merupakan numeralia yang monomorfemis, sedangkan bilangan sesudah
sepuluh dan kelipatan puluhan, seratus, dan seribu merupakan numeralia
yang polimorfemis. Numeralia pokok dalam bahasa Sawai terbagi
menjadi empat jenis yaitu numeralia untuk buah-buahan, numeralia untuk
ikan dan manusia, numeralia untuk tumbuhan, dan numeralia yang
menyertai kata penggolong benda (gulungan/ikat/lembar). Letak
numeralia bahasa Sawai dalam frasa adalah sesudah nomina yang
diterangkannya.

ABSTRACT
This research is entitled Dialogic Speech in Marriage Proposal of
Konjonese. The objectives of this researchare: 1). To describe the
procedureof marriage proposal of Konjonese. 2).To disclose the features of
the dialogic speech in marriage proposal.Qualitative method used in
obtaining the data of marriage proposal. In addition, the researcher herself
had a role as a key instrument which has to master the field being
researched and the preparation to come to the object of the
research.Ammatoa, the head of communityis the main important sources of
information in variety of aspects such as customary ritual, kinship, religious
belives and family organization, and marriage proposal as well.
The data of marriage proposal were gained through some techniques:
observation, recording, interview, and note taking. Whereas the result of the
research shows that marriage proposal of Konjoneseis usually performedin
the form of dialogic speech by three important people.

Abstract. This research discusses the Umpungeng megalith


complex, a historical proto-settlement in the highlands of Soppeng
Regency, South Sulawesi. The importance of this megalith complex
is the authenticity and completeness of its monuments, and still the
use of a number of ritual mediums for the spiritual purposes of the
community. The method used is the archaeological method as the
main method, while textual analysis of ancient manuscripts becomes
a secondary method. Similarly, interviews are also conducted to
confirm artifactual information and ancient manuscript information.
The results showed that Umpungeng is an important toponym of the
Kingdom of Soppeng. The structure and pattern of Umpungeng
settlements follow a topography whose location is uneven. Megaliths
that serve as a cult medium are positioned in the middle while
residential areas are scattered far apart, following the topography of
the mountains. The contribution of this research is to provide an
overview of the pattern of 14th-century settlement in the highlands of
South Sulawesi.

Abstract. The Tomb Complex of the Kings of Hadat Banggae (hereinafter


will be written KM Raja-raja Hadat Banggae) is believed to be a burial
complex for kings and members of the Hadat council of the kingdom of
Banggae. The Hadat Banggae Council emerged during the reign of Daeng
Tamilanto (Mara'dia Banggae II or the 2nd king). The figure of Daeng
Tamilanto is said to have developed the kingdom's territory by embracing
traditional leaders (Tomakaka) around him. Utilization of open space by
people who engage in open area activities. this activity is often uncontrolled
and can damage the Cultural Heritage objects in the Tomb Complex of the
Kings of Hadat Banggae. The qualitative approach carried out in this study
was combined with a search of historical data literature and those related to
KM Raja-raja Hadat Banggae as well as interviews with community leaders,
visitors, local residents, KM Site maintainers.
