The teaching module or lesson plan follows formal assessment principles with a
structured approach. This plan is considered formal assessment as it sticks to validated
standards. Using a formal assessment framework ensures an organized teaching
approach and aligns with educational benchmarks, improving the overall quality of
instruction.

The method that was used is Formative assessment because the activities and materials
are focusing on providing support ongoing assessment of learning and academic
achievements, ensuring a full understanding of educational progress. This thoughtful
use of formative assessment adds depth to the assessment framework in education.

3. Function of the assessment (Constructors or ways of constructing the test, Time of


administration, Form of Responses, and Test orientation)
: The assessment presented a functional text. There are advertisements, invitations, and
announcements. Students can analyze and identify the text from reading and viewing.
Besides that, students can write and present their results from the assessment.

Authenticity)
- The validity of this assessment is quite good, because several sources have been
included which are used in this assessment.
- This assessment is quite reliable, it can be seen from the topic and context that
was learned related to the assessment.
- The assessment activities provided are quite easy to understand and carried out
by students both individually and in groups. The material provided is quite
authentic with several types of functional text and their functions.

: Yes, students are asked to make presentations related to the material being studied in
accordance with social functions, text structure and linguistic elements.

6. Which level of cognitive dimension is used, is it low order thinking skills, medium order
thinking skill or higher order thinking skills?
: The cognitive level assessment includes a medium level because it focuses on the
activities presented, namely analyzing text, capturing meaning, evaluating social
functions, text structure, linguistic elements of spoken and written texts and designing
and presenting spoken and written texts.
