STOCKPILING
1.0 LINGKUP
1.1 Spesifikasi ini mencakup persyaratan
minimum untuk stockpiling dan handling
pipa.
2.0 UMUM
2.1 Kontraktor harus menyediakan tenaga kerja,
material, perlengkapan dan peralatan kerja
serta melaksanakan semua keperluan operasi
yang tercakup dalam lingkup kerja ini.
Tenaga kerja harus mempunyai kualifikasi
yang baik untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan ini.
Perlengkapan dan peralatan kerja harus selalu
dalam kondisi optimal dan siap dioperasikan.
Operator dan alat angkat harus mempunyai
sertifikat yang masih berlaku.
2.2 Pipa yang akan di-stockpile penanganannya
harus hati- hati sehingga tidak merusak pipa
atau coating pipa, untuk itu pada saat
pengangkatan/transfer harus memperhatikan
menganai:
2.2.1 Metode Pengakatan.
2.2.2 Peralatan Untuk Transportasi.
2.2.3 Tinggi dan lebar susunan pipa serta cara
pengaman pipa.
2.2.4 Cara inspeksi dan perbaikan pipa yang
rusak.
2.2.5 Pengamanan bevel pada ujung pipa.
2.3 Jika ada pipa atau material yang rusak pada
saat proses penanganan stockpiling, maka
kontraktor wajib untuk memperbaiki atau
mengganti dengan yang baru. Perbaikan
atau penggantian material, spesifikasinya
harus sesuai dengan yang telah ditentukan
oleh Spesifikasi Proyek.
3.0 COATED PIPA
3.1 Menaikkan dan menurunkan pipa dari dan ke
stockpile, tanah, truck, kapal dll. harus
menggunakan crane dengan perantara belt
yang sesuai dengan berat pipa dan diletakkan
di kedua ujung pipa, kemudian dibawa
dengan menggunakan ‘spreader bar’ diantara
belt pengangkatnya. Pada saat memindahkan
pipa, penangannya tidak dibenarkan untuk
menggeser atau digelindingkan.
3.2 Pipa harus disusun menumpuk diatas kayu
atau bantalan yang diisi dengan pasir, sekam

1.0 COVERAGE
1.1 Specification covers the minimal requirements
for stockpiling and handling of pipes.
2.0 GENERAL
2.1 The Contractor shall supply labor, materials,
work equipment and tools and does all
operational requirement included in this work
scope. The labor shall have a good
qualification to perform this work. Work
equipment and tools must always be in
optimal conditions and ready to use. The
operator and lifting devices must posses valid
certificate.
2.2 Handling of pipes to be stockpiled by the
contractor must be performed carefully so it
does not damage the pipe or its coating. For it
at the time of the appointment /transfer must
be attention to:
2.2.1 Lifting Method
2.2.2 Transportation Equipment.
2.2.3 Height and width of pipe stockpile and
securing of the pipe.
2.2.4 Inspection and repair methods of damaged
pipes.
2.2.5 Bevel protection on pipe ends.
2.3 If any pipe or material is damaged during
stockpiling handling, the Contractor must
perform repair or replace it with a new one.
Specifications of repair or replacement of
material must conform to Project
Specification.
3.0 COATED PIPE
3.1 Lifting and lowering of pipes to and from
the stockpile, ground, truck, ship, etc. must
use cranes with belt holders adequate for
pipe weight and are tied on pipe ends. The
pipes are later carried using a ‘spreader bar’
between lifting belts. For moving pipes,
sliding or rolling the pipes is not allowed.
3.2 The pipes must be piled up upon wood or
beds that are filled with sand, husk or wood

dengan pas. Pipa harus berada diatas
permukaan tanah yang kering dan tidak ada
genangan air atau lembab (ketinggian
minimal 20 cm dari permukaan tanah ).
Tidak dibenarkan untuk mengganjal pipa
dengan batu atau benda tajam lainnya yang
dapat merusak pipa atau coating pipa.
3.3 Pipa dengan marking yang sama harus
disusun pada daerah dan sisi yang sama,
disusun secara hati- hati untuk menghindari
benturan yang akan mengakibatkan
kerusakan, jumlah susunan maksimum 4
(empat) lapis.
3.4 Sebelum diangkut, pipa yang telah di-
coating harus diberi pengaman dengan
menggunakan tali polypropylene atau yang
sejenis yang disetujui oleh Pemilik Proyek.
Pemberian tali tersebut minimum di 3 (tiga)
tiga tempat terpisah. Transportasi pipa dari
pabrik coating ke pelabuhan, dari pelabuhan
ke stockpiling dan dari stockpiling ke lokasi
untuk diecer harus menggunakan built pipe
trailer agar semua permukaan yang
bersinggungan terjaga dan tidak rusak.
3.5 Lokasi stockpilling harus di tempat yang
tinggi, rata, dikeraskan (dilapisi campuran
pasir dan batu) dan mempunyai drainase
yang baik sehingga air dapat mengalir lancar
dan tidak mengenang.
3.6 Stockpilling dibuat setiap jarak 5 km, untuk
memudahkan penanganan pada saat
pekerjaan konstruksi.
4.0 BEND.
4.1 Menaikkan dan menurunkan pipe bend
menggunakan crane yang dilengkapi belt
sesuai pada paragraph 3.1.
4.2 Pipe bend harus disimpan di dalam tempat
yang kering atau diatas bantalan pasir dan
diatas permukaan tanah yang bebas dari
kemungkinan terjadinya cipratan Lumpur
atau air ( ketinggian minimal 20 cm dari
permukaan tanah).

particles so it seats properly. The pipes must
be on a dry ground surface with no puddle
or dampness (with minimal height of 20 cm
above ground). The pipes may not be
supported with rocks or other sharp objects
that may damage the pipe or its coating.
3.3 Pipes having similar markings must be piled
on the same area and side, piled carefully
that will cause jolts that will cause damage.
Maximum piling is 4 (four) layer.
3.4 Prior to shipment, the pipes that have been
coated must be protected using
polyprolypene or similar ropes approved by
the Owner’s. The ropes are attached at
3(three) separate places. Pipe. transportation
from the coating manufacturer to the harbor,
from the harbor to the stockpiling and from
the stockpiling to the location to be stringed
must use a built pipe trailer so all touching
surfaces are maintained and kept from
damage.
3.5 The stockpiling must be located on a high,
flat, hardened place (lined with sand and
stone mix) and has a good drainage so water
could flow smoothly and does not form a
puddle.
3.6 Stockpiling is made at an interval of 5 km,
to ease handling during construction works.
4.0 BEND.
4.1 Lifting and lowering of pipe bends must use
cranes equipped with belts conforming to
paragraph 3.1.
4.2 Pipe bends must be stored in a dry place or
on sand bed or on a ground surface that is
free from possibilities of water or mud
splashes (minimum height is 20 cm from
ground surface)

5.0 PENGAPALAN.
5.1 Pengapalan pipa harus mengacu kepada
ketentuan API RP 5L1 atau API RP 5LW
tergantung mana yang sesuai.
5.2 Jika pipa dilengkapi dengan bevel protector,
maka kontraktor harus menjamin bahwa
bevel protector tersebut tetap terpasang
sampai pipa tersebut tiba di tempat
stockpile.

5.0 SHIPMENT.
5.1 Pipe shipment must refer to the provisions
in API RP 5L1 or API RP 5LW, whichever
is appropriate.
5.2 If the pipe is equipped with a bevel
protector, the Contractor must guarantee
that the bevel protector stays installed until
the pipe arrives at the stockpile location.
