SUDAH MENINGGAL
 1. Bersungguh-sungguh dalam
Beramal
Allah ta’ala berfirman,

“Dan bahwa manusia hanya memperoleh apa yang telah diusahakannya.” (QS. An-Najm: 39)

Seorang anak adalah bagian dari usaha ayahnya.

Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam bersabda,

‫ب َما َأكَلْتُ ْم ِم ْن ك َْس ِبك ُْم َوِإ ّ َن َأ ْول ََادك ُْم ِم ْن ك َْس ِبك ُْم‬ ‫َأ‬
َ َ‫ِإ ّ َن ْطي‬
“Sesungguhnya sebaik-baik makanan yang kalian makan adalah makan dari hasil yang kalian usahakan.
Sesungguhnya anak-anak merupakan bagian dari yang kalian usahakan” (HR. At-Tirmidzi, Ibnu Majah dan
Ahmad)
2. Mendoakannya
Salah satu cara berbakti ketika orang tua
sudah meninggal adalah mendoakannya
dan memohonkan ampunan untuknya
kepada Allah.

Allah ta’ala berfirman,

‫ب ْار َح ْم ُه َما ك ََما َربَّيَا ِني َص ِغ ًيرا‬

ّ ِ ‫َوق ُْل َر‬

“Berdoalah, Ya Allah, berilah rahmat kepada

mereka (kedua orang tua), sebagaimana
mereka merawatku ketika kecil.” (QS. Al-
Isra: 24)
Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam bersabda,

‫ َأ ْو َول َدٍ َصال ِ ٍح يَ ْد ُعو ل َُه‬،‫ َأ ْو ِعل ٍْم يُنْتَفَ ُع ِب ِه‬،‫ ِإلَّا ِم ْن َص َدق ٍَة َجا ِريَ ٍة‬:‫عن ْ ُه َع َمل ُُه ِإلَّا ِم ْن ثَل َاث ٍَة‬
َ ‫ان انْقَط ََع‬
ُ ‫ات الِْإن ْ َس‬
َ ‫ِإذَا َم‬

“Apabila seseorang mati, seluruh amalnya akan terputus kecuali 3 hal: sedekah jariyah, ilmu yang manfaat, dan
anak shalih yang mendoakannya.” (HR. Muslim, Nasai dan yang lainnya).

Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam juga bersabda,

‫ار َول َ ِد َك ل ََك‬

ِ َ‫اس ِت ْغف‬ ُ َ‫ُول َأن َّى ل ِ ْي َهذَا فَيُق‬
ْ ‫ال ِب‬ ُ ‫الر ُج َل لَت ُْرف َُع َد َر َجت ُُه ِفي ال َْجن ّ َِة فَيَق‬
َ ّ ‫ِإ ّ َن‬

Sesungguhnya ada seseorang yang diangkat kedudukannya di Surga kelak. Ia pun bertanya, “Bagaimana hal ini?”
Maka dijawab: “Lantaran istighfar anakmu untukmu. (HR. Ibnu Majah)
3. Menyambung Silaturahim
Termasuk berbakti ketika sudah meninggal adalah menyambung
silaturahim dengan saudara-saudara orang tua dan memuliakan
teman orang tua semasa hidup.

Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam bersabda,

ِ ‫ِإ َّن َأبَ َّر ال ْ ِب ِ ّر ِصل َ ُة ال َْول َ ِد َأ ْه َل ُو ِ ّد َأ ِب‬

‫يه‬

“Sesungguhnya sebaik-baik bentuk berbakti adalah seseorang

menyambung hubungan dengan keluarga dari kenalan baik
ayahnya.” (HR. Muslim)

DariBersedekah
Aisyah radhiallahu ‘anha, atas Nama
bahwa ada Orang
seorang lelaki yang Tua
berkata kepada Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,

‫عن ْ َها؟‬ َ ‫ْت‬ ُ ‫ ِإ ْن تَ َص َّدق‬،‫ َأ َفل ََها َأ ْج ٌر‬،‫َت‬ ْ ‫ َوَأ ُظن َُّها ل َْو تَكَل َّ َم‬،‫وص‬
ْ ‫ت تَ َص َّدق‬ ْ ‫ِإ َّن ُأ ِّم َي ا ْفتُلِ َت‬
ِ ُ‫ت ن َ ْف َس َها َول َْم ت‬
‫ ن َ َع ْم تَ َص َّد ْق َعن ْ َها‬:‫َال‬
َ ‫ق‬

● “Ibuku mati mendadak, sementara beliau belum berwasiat.

Saya yakin, andaikan beliau sempat berbicara, beliau akan
bersedekah. Apakah beliau akan mendapat aliran pahala, jika
saya bersedekah atas nama beliau?” Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi
wa sallam menjawab, “Ya. Bersedekahlah atas nama ibumu.”
(HR. Al-Bukhari dan Muslim)
5. MELUNASI UTANG ATAU JANJI
ORANG TUA
Jika semasa hidup orangtua masih memiliki utang
atau tanggungan yang belum terbayarkan hingga
mereka telah tiada, maka sudah menjadi
kewajiban sebagai anak untuk melunasinya.
Apabila kamu tidak mengetahui utang atau janji
apa saja, kamu dapat menanyakannya kepada
orang terdekat kalian atau orang yang merasa
memberi utang atau diberi janji. Jangan sampai
hal ini memberatkan orangtua yang telah
meninggal dunia.
 Sebagaimana hadits dari Ibnu ‘Umar
Radhiyallahu anhuma, ia berkata “Rasulullah
SAW bersabda: “Barangsiapa yang mati dan
memiliki utang satu dinar atau satu dirham,
maka akan dilunasi dari kebaikannya 9karena)
di sana (akhirat) tidak ada dinar tidak pula
dirham.” (HR. Ibnu Majah).
6. Meneruskan kebaikan yang dirintis atau
dirutinkan orang tua.
Rasulullah bersabda:

Barang siapa merintis atau memulai

perbuatan kebaikan dalam agama, maka
baginya pahala dari perbuatannya tersebut,
dan pahala dari orang yang mengikutinya
setelahnya, tanpa berkurang sedikitpun dari
pahala mereka.
(HR. Muslim no 1016)
7. MENGHAJIKAN ORANG
“Ayah saya sudah meninggal TUA
dunia dan ia
mempunyai kewajiban haji, apakah aku
menghajikannya?" Nabi SAW menjawab,
"Bagaimana pendapatmu apabila ayahmu
meninggalkan utang. Apakah engkau wajib
membayarnya?" Orang itu menjawab, "Ya,"
Nabi SAW berkata, "Berhajilah engkau
untuk ayahmu itu," (HR Ahmad dan An
Nasa'i).
 8. ZIARAH KE MAKAM
ORANG TUA
Nabi SAW berziarah ke makam ibunda beliau. Beliau menangis dan
membuat para hadirin di sekitar beliau juga menangis. Beliau
bersabda:

“Aku minta izin kepada Rabb-ku untuk memohonkan ampunan

baginya namun aku tidak diizinkan. Kemudian aku meminta izin
kepadanya untuk berziarah ke makamnya dan aku diizinkan.
Berziarah ke makam sebab itu dapat mengingatkan akan kematian.”
(HR Muslim dari Abu Hurairah).
