Makna syahadat
• Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya aku ini hanya seorang manusia
seperti kamu, yang diwahyukan kepadaku.” (QS.Al-Kahfi; 110).

ayat di atas Allah memerintahkan NabiNya untuk
mengumumkan kepada manusia bahwa saya hanyalah seorang
hamba sama dengan kalian, bukan Rabb (Tuhan).

• Hadirin rohimakumulloh
• Puji syukur marilah kita panjatkan ke hadirat Illahi Rabbi bahwa Karena qudrat dan iradat-Nya pada kesempatan ini kita dapat bertemu dalam keadaan sehat wal afiat tak kurang suatu apapun dalam rangka menuntut ilmu sebagaimana telah diwajibkan kepada kita untuk menuntutnya.
Shalawat serta salam semoga tetap terlimpahcurahkan kepada Nabiana Rasulullah Muhammad saw. kepada keluarganya, para sahabatnya, dan juga kepada para pengikutnya yang setia dari awal hingga akhir zaman. Aamiin ya Rabbal Alaamiin.
• Hadirin rohimakumulloh
• Setiap muslim pasti bersaksi, mengakui bahwa Muhammad adalah hamba dan Rasulullah, tapi tidak semua muslim memahami hakikat yang benar dari makna syahadat Muhammad Rasulullah, dan juga tidak semua muslim memahami tuntutan dan konsekuensi dari syahadat tersebut.
Fenomena inilah yang mendorong khatib untuk menjelaskan makna yang benar dari syahadat Muhammad Rasulullah dan konsekuensinya.
• Makna dari syahadat Muhammad Rasulullah adalah pengakuan lahir batin dari seorang muslim bahwa Muhammad adalah hamba dan utusan Allah, Abdullah wa Rasuluhu yang diutus untuk semua manusia sebagai penutup rasul-rasul sebelumnya.
• Dari makna di atas bisa dipetik bahwa yang terpenting dari syahadat Muhammad Rasulullah adalah dua hal yaitu: Bahwa Muhammad itu adalah abdullah (hamba Allah) dan Muhammad itu rasulullah. Dua hal ini merupakan rukun syahadat Muhammad Rasulullah.

• Syaikh Muhammad bin Shalih Al-Utsaimin menjelaskan: Dalam ayat di atas Allah memerintahkan NabiNya untuk mengumumkan kepada manusia bahwa saya hanyalah seorang hamba sama dengan kalian, bukan Rabb (Tuhan).

• ‫الله َو َر ُس ْول ُُه‬ َ ‫عبْ ٌد َف ُق ْول ُْوا‬ َ ‫ِإنّ ََما َأنَا‬
• “Saya hanya seorang hamba, maka katakanlah hamba Allah dan RasulNya”. (HR. Al-Bukhari dan Muslim).
• Syaikh Al-Utsaimin berkata: Saya hanyalah hamba yakni saya tidak punya hak dalam rububiyah dan juga dalam hal-hal yang menjadi keistimewaan Allah.
• Keyakinan bahwa Muhammad adalah hamba Allah menuntut kepada kita untuk mendudukkan beliau di tempat yang semestinya, tidak melebih-lebihkan beliau dari derajat yang seharusnya sebab beliau hanyalah seorang hamba yang tidak mungkin naik derajatnya menjadi Rabb. Dari sini
termasuk kesesatan jika ada yang ber-isti’anah1, ber-istighatsah memohon kepada Nabi untuk mendatangkan manfaat dan menolak mudharat sebab hal itu adalah hak mutlak Allah sebagai Rabb. "Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya aku tidak kuasa mendatangkan sesuatu kemudharatanpun
kepadamu dan tidak (pula) sesuatu kemanfaatan". (QS.Al-Jin; 21).
 ِ ‫ِإ ن ّ ََما َأنَا َعبْدٌ َف ُق ْول ُْوا َعبْ ُد‬
• ‫الله َو َر ُس ْول ُُه‬
• “Saya hanya seorang hamba, maka katakanlah hamba Allah
dan RasulNya”. (HR. Al-Bukhari dan Muslim).
• Syaikh Al-Utsaimin berkata: Saya hanyalah hamba yakni saya
tidak punya hak dalam rububiyah dan juga dalam hal-hal yang
menjadi keistimewaan Allah.
• Keyakinan bahwa Muhammad adalah hamba Allah menuntut
kepada kita untuk mendudukkan beliau di tempat yang
semestinya, tidak melebih-lebihkan beliau dari derajat yang
seharusnya sebab beliau hanyalah seorang hamba yang tidak
mungkin naik derajatnya menjadi Rabb. Dari sini termasuk
kesesatan jika ada yang ber-isti’anah1, ber-istighatsah
memohon kepada Nabi untuk mendatangkan manfaat dan
menolak mudharat sebab hal itu adalah hak mutlak Allah
sebagai Rabb. "Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya aku tidak kuasa
mendatangkan sesuatu kemudharatanpun kepadamu dan tidak
(pula) sesuatu kemanfaatan". (QS.Al-Jin; 21).
• Kemudian syahadat “Muhammad Rasulullah” menuntut kita
untuk mengimani risalah yang beliau sampaikan, beribadah
dengan syariat yang beliau bawa, tidak mendustakan, tidak
menolak apa yang beliau ucapkan maupun yang beliau
lakukan.
• Seorang Muslim yang beriman bahwa Muhammad adalah
hamba dan Rasul Allah, dituntut untuk mewujudkan beberapa
hal sebagai bukti kebenaran keimanannya.
