UGD / IGD adalah ruangan utama di RS yang memberi pelayanan 24 JAM, dimana kasus-kasus
kegawat daruratan selama 24 JAM di tangani di ruangan tsb (misal kecelakaan, serangan jantung
mendadak, atau orang yg kesadarannya menurun. Petugas yang berjaga di UGD : Dokter Umum,
Perawat bersertifikat ATLS / ACLS (Advance Trauma Life Support dan Advance Cardiac Life
Support).UGD / IGD terbagi atas Triase Observasi, Resusitasi, Bedah kecil (misalnya :
pengangkatan beling di anggota tubuh pasien yang lukanya dalam).

The Internal Clinic The core of the clinic is a comprehensive medical and preventive care in
internal medicine focusing especially on sub-fields of cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatology,
diabetology and metabolism, nephrology and general internal medicine. Our main activites
involve specialized diagnostic and medical care, pre-graduate and post-graduate education and
applied research. All of our activities are managed by the outpatient departments of internal
medicine, including field offices in the Department of Cardiology and Department of
Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Metabolism. In every department there are standard and
specialized beds. The department also provides specialized units.
The Neurosurgery and Neuroonkology Clinic is the leading center in the Czech Republic in areas
of brain tumor operations and vascular diseases.
The Surgery Clinic specializes in surgery of the digestive tract, liver and pancreas.
The Eye Clinic provides all the external and intraocular surgery at a very high level, with special
focus on cataract, glaucoma and transplant performances and all assortments of laser treatments.
The Infectious Disease Department provides ambulatory and hospital care for adult and teenage
patients with infectious diseases in close cooperation with other departments of the hospital.
Specialists also provide infectious disease consultations for all surgical and medical departments
of the UVN Hospital, recommend antibiotic therapy as well as provide antibiotic stewardship
and hospital acquired infections prevention and infection control guidance. They serve as
members of the so-called ‘antibiotic center’ whose task is to approve administration of certain
broad-spectrum antibiotics in our hospital.
Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care unit currently provides (except to children
under 15 years old) the whole spectrum of activities pertaining to the field - anesthesia care,
resuscitation and intensive care. This department currently has 24 inpatient beds at three stations
from which resuscitation is one of the boxing systems. An integral part of the department is to
provide CPR and intensive consultancy services throughout the hospital premises and in
particular at the emergency department.
The ENT Clinic provides screening and treatments in specialized centres (otology, otoneurology,
rhino-logy, endocrinology and oncology) and has the most advanced technology and equipment
throughout the country.
Gynecology Clinic
Modern Gynecological Clinic, equipped with cutting edge technology, with excellent facilities.
Provides curative and preventive care in the field of gynecology, and in the mode of an inpatient
and an outpatient. Performs the complete range of gynecological operations, including
onkogynekological operation.
Since 2005, as the first in the Czech Republic and central Europe, using the fields of surgery,
urology and gynecology robotic system da Vinci. In 2013 it was acquired more modern type of
robotic operating system da Vinci Si HD. To the present was carried out over two and a half
thousand robotic operations.
This department (sometimes called Casualty) is where you're likely to be taken if you've called
an ambulance in an emergency.
It's also where you should come if you've had an accident, but can make your own way to
hospital.
These departments operate 24 hours a day, every day and are staffed and equipped to deal with
all emergencies.
Patients are assessed and seen in order of need, usually with a separate minor injuries area
supported by nurses.

Critical care

It has a relatively small number of beds and is manned by specialist doctors and nurses, as well
as by consultant anaesthetists, physiotherapists and dietitians.
Patients requiring intensive care are often transferred from other hospitals or from other
departments in the same hospital.

Discharge lounge
Many hospitals now have discharge lounges to help your final day in hospital go smoothly.
Patients who don't need to stay on the ward are transferred to the lounge on the day of discharge.
Staff will inform the pharmacy, transport and relatives of your transfer.
To help pass the time, there are usually facilities such as a TV, radio, magazines, puzzles, books
and newspapers.
If someone feels unwell while waiting, nurses contact a doctor to come and see you before
discharge.
The ENT department provides care for patients with a variety of problems, including:

wide range of problems associated with the elderly. This includes:

department often has close links with other community services for the elderly.
Gastroenterology
Endoscopy
This is guided down the throat to investigate problems in your oesophagus and digestive system.
Small surgical instruments can be guided down in the same way, meaning it can be used for
diagnosis and treatment.
There are often endoscopy nurse specialists linked to a gastroenterology unit who are able to
perform a wide range of bowel investigations.
General surgery
The general surgery ward covers a wide range of surgery and includes:
day surgery
thyroid surgery
kidney transplants
colon surgery
laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)
endoscopy
breast surgery.
Day surgery units have a high turnover of patients who attend for minor surgical procedures such
as hernia repairs.
Gynaecology
These departments investigate and treat problems of the female urinary tract and reproductive
organs, such as endometritis, infertility and incontinence.
They also provide a range of care for cervical smear screening and post-menopausal bleeding
checks.
Haematology
Haematology services work closely with the hospital laboratory. These doctors treat blood
diseases and malignancies linked to the blood, with both new referrals and emergency
admissions being seen.
Maternity departments
Women now have a choice of who leads their maternity care and where they give birth. Care can
be led by a consultant, a GP or a midwife.
Maternity wards provide antenatal care, care during childbirth and postnatal support.
Antenatal clinics provide monitoring for both routine and complicated pregnancies.
High-dependency units can offer one-to-one care for women who need close monitoring when
there are complications in pregnancy or childbirth.
Microbiology
The microbiology department looks at all aspects of microbiology, such as bacterial and viral
infections.
They have become increasingly high profile following the rise of hospital-acquired infections,
such as MRSA and C. difficile.
A head microbiology consultant and team of microbiologists test patient samples sent to them by
medical staff from the hospital and from doctors' surgeries.
Neonatal unit
Neonatal units have a number of cots that are used for intensive, high-dependency and special
care for newborn babies.
It always maintains close links with the hospital maternity department, in the interest of babies
and their families.
Neonatal units have the philosophy that, whenever possible, mother and baby should be together.
Nephrology
This department monitors and assesses patients with kidney (renal) problems.
Nephrologists (kidney specialists) will liaise with the transplant team in cases of kidney
transplants.
They also supervise the dialysis day unit for people who are waiting for a kidney transplant or
who are unable to have a transplant for any reason.
Neurology
This unit deals with disorders of the nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord. It's run
by doctors who specialise in this area (neurologists) and their staff.
There are also paediatric neurologists who treat children. Neurologists may also be involved in
clinical research and clinical trials.
Specialist nurses (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis) liaise with patients, consultants and GPs to help
with any problems that may occur between outpatient appointments.
Trained dieticians and nutritionists provide specialist advice on diet for hospital wards and
outpatient clinics, forming part of a multidisciplinary team.

The aim of occupational therapy is to restore physical and mental functioning to help people
participate in life to the fullest.
Occupational therapy assessments often guide hospital discharge planning, with the majority of
patients given a home assessment to understand their support needs.
Staff also arrange provision of essential equipment and adaptations that are essential for
discharge from hospital.
Oncology
This department provides radiotherapy and a full range of chemotherapy treatments for
cancerous tumours and blood disorders.
Staffed by specialist doctors and nurses trained in oncology (cancer care), it has close links with
surgical and medical teams in other departments.
Ophthalmology
Eye departments provide a range of ophthalmic services for adults and children, including:
Orthopaedic departments treat problems that affect your musculoskeletal system. That's your
muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, tendons and nerves.
The doctors and nurses who run this department deal with everything from setting bone fractures
to carrying out surgery to correct problems such as torn ligaments and hip replacements.
Orthopaedic trauma includes fractures and dislocations as well as musculoskeletal injuries to soft
tissues.
Usually run by consultant anaesthetists, these clinics aim to help treat patients with severe long-
term pain that appears resistant to normal treatments.
Depending on the hospital, a wide range of options are available, such as acupuncture, nerve
blocks and drug treatment.
Pharmacy
The hospital pharmacy is run by pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and attached staff.
A pharmacy will provide a drug formulary for hospital doctors to use as a guide. It will also help
supervise any clinical trial management and ward drug-use review.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists promote body healing, for example after surgery, through therapies such as
exercise and manipulation.
This means they assess, treat and advise patients with a wide range of medical conditions. They
also provide health education to patients and staff on how to do things more easily.
Their services are provided to patients on the wards, in the physiotherapy department itself and
in rehabilitation units.
Physiotherapists often work closely with orthopaedic teams.
Radiotherapy
Run by a combination of consultant doctors and specially trained radiotherapists, this department
provides radiotherapy (X-ray) treatment for conditions such as malignant tumours and cancer.
Renal unit
Closely linked with nephrology teams at hospitals, these units provide haemodialysis treatment
for patients with kidney failure. Many of these patients are on waiting lists for a kidney
transplant.
They also provide facilities for peritoneal dialysis and help facilitate home haemodialysis.
Rheumatology
Specialist doctors called rheumatologists run the unit and are experts in the field of
musculoskeletal disorders (bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves).
Their role is to diagnose conditions and recommend appropriate treatment, if necessary from the
orthopaedic department.
The rheumatologist may need to review you regularly, either in person or via one of the
rheumatology team.
Alternatively, your condition may be one your GP can manage in the community. Many
conditions are managed jointly between the GP and the hospital care team.

Accident and emergency (A&E) - Also called Casualty Department, where you're likely to be
taken if you have arrived in an ambulance or emergency situation.
Admissions - At the Admitting Department, the patient will be required to provide personal
information and sign consent forms before being taken to the hospital unit or ward. If the
individual is critically ill, then, this information is usually obtained from a family member.
Anesthetics - Doctors in this department give anesthetic for operations and procedures. An
anesthetic is a drug or agent that produces a complete or partial loss of feeling. There are three
kinds of anesthetic: general, regional and local.
Breast Screening - Screens women for breast cancer and is usually linked to the X-ray or
radiology department.
Burn Center (Burn Unit or Burns Unit) - A hospital specializing in the treatment of burns. Burn
centers are often used for the treatment and recovery of patients with more severe burns.
Cardiology - Provides medical care to patients who have problems with their heart or circulation.
Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) - (Sterile Processing Department (SPD) - Sterile
Processing - Central Supply Department (CSD) - Central Supply) - A place in hospitals and other
health care facilities that performs sterilization and other actions on medical equipment, devices,
and consumables.

maintenance and purchases. In addition, it makes available all amounts of money required for
procurement of all materials and equipment.
Gastroenterology - This department investigates and treats digestive and upper and lower
gastrointestinal diseases.
General Services - Support Services include services provided by Departments such as Portering,
Catering, Housekeeping, Security, Health & Safety, Switch, Laundry and the management of
facilities such as parking, baby tagging, access control, CCTV etc.
General Surgery - Covers a wide range of types of surgery and procedures on patients.
Gynecology - Investigates and treats problems relating to the female urinary tract and
reproductive organs, such as Endometriosis, infertility and incontinence.
Haematology - These hospital services work with the laboratory. In addition doctors treat blood
diseases and malignancies related to the blood.
Health & Safety - The role of the occupational health and safety department is to promote and
maintain the highest possible degree of health and safety for all employees, physicians,
volunteers, students and contractors, and actively participates in quality, safety and risk
initiatives. Numerous health and safety issues associated with healthcare facilities include blood-
borne pathogens and biological hazards, potential chemical and drug exposures, waste anesthetic
gas exposures, respiratory hazards, ergonomic hazards from lifting and repetitive tasks, laser
hazards, hazards associated with laboratories, and radioactive material and x-ray hazards. In
addition to the medical staff, large healthcare facilities employ a wide variety of trades that have
health and safety hazards associated with them. These include mechanical maintenance, medical
equipment maintenance, housekeeping, food service, building and grounds maintenance,
laundry, and administrative staff.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - (Intensive Therapy Unit, Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU), Critical
Care Unit (CCU) - A special department of a hospital or health care facility that provides
intensive treatment medicine and caters to patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses and
injuries, which require constant, close monitoring and support from specialist equipment and
medications.
Human Resources - Role is to provide a professional, efficient and customer focused service to
managers and staff and in turn facilitate the delivery of a professional, efficient and customer
focused service to patients.
Infection Control - Primarily responsible for conducting surveillance of hospital-acquired
infections and investigating and controlling outbreaks or infection clusters among patients and
health care personnel. The department calculates rates of hospital-acquired infections, collates
antibiotic susceptibility data, performs analysis of aggregated infection data and provides
comparative data to national benchmarks over time.
Information Management - Meaningful information can be used in quality management,
continuous quality improvement and peer review. By improving the quality of information, core
data can be provided for randomized clinical trials, outcomes research and many studies.
Maternity - Maternity wards provide antenatal care, delivery of babies and care during childbirth,
and postnatal support.
Medical Records - Includes a variety of types of "notes" entered over time by health care
professionals, recording observations and administration of drugs and therapies, orders for the
administration of drugs and therapies, test results, x-rays, reports, etc.
Microbiology - The microbiology department provides an extensive clinical service, including
mycology, parasitology, mycobacteriology, a high security pathology unit, and a healthcare
associated infection investigation unit, as well as routine bacteriology and an expanding
molecular diagnostic repertoire.
Neonatal - Closely linked with the hospital maternity department, provides care and support for
babies and their families.
Nephrology - Monitors and assesses patients with various kidney (renal) problems and
conditions.
Neurology - A medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Specifically, it
deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of disease involving the central,
peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels, and all
effector tissue, such as muscle. Includes the brain, spinal cord, and spinal cord injuries (SCI).
Nutrition and Dietetics - Dietitians and nutritionists provide specialist advice on diet for hospital
wards and outpatient clinics.
Obstetrics/Gynecology - Specialist nurses, midwives and imaging technicians provide maternity
services such as: antenatal and postnatal care, maternal and foetal surveillance, and prenatal
diagnosis.
Occupational Therapy - Helps physically or mentally impaired people, including temporary
disability, practices in the fields of both healthcare as well as social care. Often abbreviated as
"OT", Occupational Therapy promotes health by enabling people to perform meaningful and
purposeful occupations. These include (but are not limited to) work, leisure, self care, domestic
and community activities. Occupational therapists work with individuals, families, groups and
communities to facilitate health and well-being through engagement or re-engagement in
occupation.
Oncology - A branch of medicine that deals with cancer and tumors. A medical professional who
practices oncology is an oncologist. The Oncology department provides treatments, including
radiotherapy and chemotherapy, for cancerous tumors and blood disorders.
Ophthalmology - Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine which deals with the diseases and
surgery of the visual pathways, including the eye, hairs, and areas surrounding the eye, such as
the lacrimal system and eyelids. The term ophthalmologist is an eye specialist for medical and
surgical problems. The Ophthalmology department provides a range of ophthalmic eye related
services for both in and outpatients.
Orthopaedics - Treats conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, including joints,
ligaments, bones, muscles, tendons and nerves.
Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) - The ENT Department provide comprehensive and
specialized care covering both Medical and Surgical conditions related not just specifically to the
Ear, Nose and Throat, but also other areas within the Head and Neck region. It is often divided
into sub-specialties dealing with only one part of the traditional specialty (ontology, rhinology
and laryngology).
Pain Management - Helps treat patients with severe long-term pain. Alternative pain relief
treatments such as acupuncture, nerve blocks and drug treatment, are also catered for.
Patient Accounts - The Patient Accounts Department answers all billing questions and concerns,
requests for itemized bills, and account balance inquiries. The patient accounts department also
assists patients in their insurance benefits for services rendered.

Sexual Health - Also known as genitourinary medicine - Provides advice, testing and treatment
for sexually transmitted infections, family planning care, pregnancy testing and advice, care and
support for sexual and genital problems.
Social Work - Clinical social workers help patients and their families deal with the broad range
of psychosocial issues and stresses related to coping with illness and maintaining health. Social
workers, resource specialists and advocates form a network that addresses the challenges
families face, increases accessibility to health care and other human services, and serves as a
bridge between the hospital setting and a patient's family life, home and community.
Urology - The urology department is run by consultant urology surgeons and investigates areas
linked to kidney and bladder conditions.

Pada kesempatan kali ini, Alatkesehatan.Info ingin berbagi macam nama alat kesehatan yang ada
di rumah sakit, berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI Nomor 118 tentang Kompendium
Alat Kesehatan Rumah Sakit dengan menyebutkan 100 contoh alat kesehatan lengkap dengan
penjelasan dan fungsinya. Selamat Menyimak.
Seperti biasa, sebelum kita masuk apda pembahasan intinya, sudah tahukah anda, apa yang
dimaksud dengan alat kesehatan ? Alat kesehatan adalah Instrumet, apparatus, mesin, implant
yang tidak mengandung obat yang berfungsi untuk mencegah dan mendiagnosa penyakit,
menyembuhkan dan merawat orang sakit, memulihkan kesehatan pada manusia dan untuk
membentuk struktur dan memperbaiki fungsi jaringan tubuh.
Sebagaimana yang sudah kita singgung sedikit diatas, bahwa setidaknya ada tiga macam alat
kesehatan yang harus ada di sebuah pusat layanan kesehatan baik itu Rumah Sakit, Klinik,
Puskesmas dan yang sejenisnya yaitu Alat Elektromedik, Alat Non Elektromedik dan Alat
Diagnostic In Vitro. Untuk menyelesaikan misi kita membahas dan memberikan contoh alat
kesehatan tersebut, kita akan membaginya menjadi 3 kategori tersebut.
Mari kita mulai pembahasan kita tentang contoh – contoh alat kesehatan di Rumah Sakit dimulai
dari golongan alat – alat Elektromedik.
1. Mesin Anestesi
Jenis alat kesehatan yang pertama ini termasuk ke dalam alat – alat operasi. Atau alat yang
digunakan dalam proses operasi. Mesin Anestesi yaitu alat yang berfungsi untuk menghilangkan
kesadaran pasien sesaat sebelum menjalani operasi. Mesin anestesi terdiri dari berbagai macam
komponen utama dan pendukung yang semuanya bekerja dengan saling terkait satu sama
lainnya.
2. Apnea Monitor
Alat Apnea Monitor merupakan nama alat kesehatan yang cukup asing di telinga kita. Gambar
alat alat kesehatan tersebut bisa anda lihat berikut ini :
Apnea Monitor merupakan salah satu alat yang digunakan pada penanganan kasus gagal respirasi
atau gangguan pernapasan yang akut. Dimana monitor ini berfungsi untuk memberikan
peringatan ketika terjadi kondisi yang berbahaya pada pasien tersebut. Dengan adanya monitor
tersebut, petugas medis dapat segera mengambil tindakan ketika ada hal – hal yang mengancam
keselamatan pasien.
Seperti Mesin Anestesi, alat ini juga termasuk alat yang digunakan dalam proses operasi.
Surgical dalam bahasa Indonesia berarti “pisau”. Secara etimologi bahasa kita bisa
mendefinisikan bahwa laser surgical merupakan pisau elektrik (laser) yang berfungsi untuk
pembedahan atau pemotongan jaringan tubuh pasa saat proses operasi berlangsung. Ada banyak
jenis laser surgical dan salah satunya menggunakan energi dari emisi unsur Argon
5. Audiometer
Mari kita lanjutkan pembahasan alat kesehatan beserta fungsinya dengan membahas alat yang
ke-5 yaitu Audiometer. Ada yang tau fungsi alat ini ?Audiometer merupakan alat diagnostic
gangguan pendengaran.Fungsinya adalah untuk menentukan respon telinga terhadap frekuensi
bunyi pada intentsitas tertentu.Dari pemeriksaan ini diperoleh kesimpulan ada tidaknya
gangguan pendengaran, seberapa parah dan jenisnya, serta terjadi pada telinga kanan atau kiri.
6. Automatic Sphygmomanometer
Saya yakin anda akan asing mendengar nama alat itu, namun sebenarnya apabila anda
melihatgambar alat kesehatan tersebut saya juga yakin anda akan bisa menyebutkan namanya.
Sphygmomanometer tidak lain adalah tensimeter atau alat pengukur tekanan darah. Berkat
kemajuan teknologi sekarang alat ini terdapat dalam jenis digital, oleh sebab itu dalam
pembahasan ini kita masukkan ke dalam golongan alat – alat elektromedik.
7. Blood Warmer
Sebelum darah diinfuskan pada pasien yang membutuhkan, maka perlu dihangatkan karena pad
dasarnya darah di simpan dalam almari pendingin agar terjaga dan tidak rusak. Untuk membuat
suhu darah tersebut sama dengan darah yang ada di dalam tubuh manusia, maka perlu
dihangatkan. Alat yang digunakan untuk menghangatkan darah yaitu bloog warmer.
Alat ini sekategori dengan Apne Monitor yaitu berhubungan dengan gangguan pernapasan.
Capnometer merupakana alat monitor konsentrasi gas CO2 atau karnon dioksida dalam gas yang
digunakan untuk membantu proses ventilasi gas masuk ke dalam sistem pernapasan pasien. Alat
ini juga digunakan untuk pemantauan laju pernapasan dan adekuasi.
9. Defibrillator
Defibrillator merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi dalam tindakan emergency pasien serangan
jantung atau yang mengalami detak jantung berhenti.Dibarengi dengan tindakan CPR diharapkan
penggunaan alat defibrillator dapat membuat jantung kembali berdetak normal. Defibrillator
bekerja dengan cara memberikan stimulus energi listrik dengan menggunakan bantalan elektroda
yang ditempelkan pada dada pasien. Defibrillator terdiri dari dua macam atau jenis yaitu
defibrillator manual dan otomatis (AED).
EKG/ECG atau Electrocardiograph merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi untuk pemeriksaan
kesehatan jantung.Beberapa gangguan jantung dapat dideteksi atau diindikasi dengan
pemeriksaan ini. EKG disebut juga dengan alat rekam jantung. Cara kerjanya adalah dengan
merekam kelistrikan otot jantung melalui elektroda yang kemudian akan menghasilkan nilai
dalam bentuk grafik. Jantung yang sehat akan memberikan gambar grafik yang khas pada
pemeriksaan tersebut.
Seperti halnya alat tensimeter, Hospital Bed atau ranjang pasien rumah sakit juga memiliki
beberapa jenis dan salah satu jenisnya bisa kita kelompokkan pada golongan alat elektromedik
karena menggunakan sistem hidraulik yang digerakan dengan energi listrik. Bed pasien elektrik
ini digerakkan dengan cara menekan remot yang ada di salah satu sisi bagian bed. Seperti bed
manual, bed elektrik ini juga memiliki beberapa crank atau partisi untuk bisa digerakkan.
15. Infusion Pump
Membahas alat kesehatan dan fungsinya tidak lengkap apabila kita tidak memasukkan alat ini ke
dalam pembahasannya.Infusion Pump merupakan satu alat medis yang berfungsi sebagai pompa
otomatis untuk mengatur laju aliran infus. Alat infus biasa dilewatkan pada alat ini agar bisa
dikontrol dosisnya, laju alirannya dan berbagai macam pengaturan lainnya.Alat ini bekerja
dengan prinsip elektromegnetik sehingga bisa kita kategorikan sebagai alat elektromedik.

17. Laparoscopy
Laparoscop merupakan satu alat yang digunakan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit – penyakit yang
ada di dalam perut atau panggul. Dengan alat ini dokter dapat melihat bagian dalam perut
sehingga proses diagnosa menjadi sangat mudah. Alat ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian
diantaranya tabung kecil, sumber cahaya dan juga kamera.
18. Mammography Unit
Fungsi alat kesehatan ini hampir sama dengan sinar rongsen (rontgen) yaitu menggunakan sinar
–x untuk mencitrakan bagian dalam organ tubuh manusia, namun alat ini secara khusus di bagian
payudara. Lebih tepatnya alat ini berfungsi untuk mengecek dan mendiagnosa ada tidaknya
kanker payudara dan memberikan informasi morfologi payudara manusia normal dan tidak
normal.
Anda tentu sangat kenal dengan unit alat medic yang satu ini.Orang kita sering menyebutnya
dengan pemeriksaan Rontgen.Yaitu sebuah alat yang menggunakan teknologi sinar- x yang bisa
mencitrakan struktur bagian tubuh manusia.Namun alat ini mengandung unsur radio aktif
sehingga terkadang tidak boleh dilakukan kecuali dalam kondisi yang mendesak.
Kalau melihat dari nama alat kesehatan ini kita dapat menyimpulkan bahwa alat ini berhubungan
dengan oksigen. Memang benar, alat ini merupakan alat yang berfungsi untuk mengukur
konsentrasi oksigen dalam proses respirasi dengan menggunakan teknik tertentu seperti
spektrometri. Alat ini tidak diperbolehkan dioperasikan di lingkungan yang terdapat gas mudah
terbakar.
Mendengar kata ventilator, anda tentu ingat dengan ventilasi rumah anda, fungsinya untuk
pertukaran udara dari dalam keluar dan sebaliknya.Sama juga fungsinya dengan ventilator alat
medis ini. Fungsinya yaitu membantu proses pernapasan menggantikan sebagian atau seluruh
fungsi paru – paru pasien. Biasanya pasien dengan kondisi gangguan pernapasan yang berat baru
menggunakan alat tersebut.
Kalau alat yang satu ini saya yakin anda sudah mengetahuinya, USG atau disebut juga
Ultrasonografi merupakan alat pencitraan bagian dalam tubuh dengan menggunakan prinsip
gelombang suara ultra (frekuensi tingi). Alat ini bisa memberikan kita gambar 2 dimensi hingga
4 dimensi bagian dalam tubuh secara realtime pada layar monitor. USG paling sering digunakan
untuk melihat perkembangan janin dalam kandungan.
29. Sterilizer
Sterilizer merupakan alat medis yang wajib ada di rumah sakit dan klinik, terlebih lagi yang
memiliki unit pemeriksaan dan bedah operasi. Sterilizer merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi
untuk melakukan sterilisasi terhadap semua peralatan – peralatan rumah sakit yang harus dalam
kondisi steril seperti alat medis dan alat – alat bedah operasi.Alat sterilisasi di rumah sakit
setidaknya ada tiga macam. Autoclave, sterilisator kering dan lampu UV sterilisasi ruangan.
Alat kesehatan yang satu ini biasanya digunakan oleh bidan dan dokter kandungan.Fetal Doppler
merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi detak jantung janin di dalam
kandungan.Alat ini juga digunakan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan dan pemantauan kondisi
kesehatan janin.Fetal Doppler juga bisa anda beli sendiri di toko alat kesehatan untuk
penggunaan pribadi.
Oksigen Concentrator merupakan satu alat medis penghasil oksigen dengan memanfaatkan udara
di sekitar kemudian memfilter hingga menghasilkan oksigen murni sampai 98%.Oksigen yang
dihasilkan dari alat ini dapat digunakan langsung pada orang sakit untuk membantu suplay
oksigen atau juga bisa anda gunakan sendiri untuk terapi penyembuhan dan relaksasi dirumah.
32. Diathermy
Alat ini termasuk dalam alat terapi menggunakan tenaga listrik, yaitu digunakan untuk
menghangatkan jaringan dengan lisrik frekuensi tinggi.Terapi ini digunakan pada pasien dengan
keluhan otot dan sendi serta peradangan yang mendalam.Ada cukup banyak alat portable
semacam ini dipasaran seperti alat terapi infra merah yang cukup terkenal dan sudah banyak
orang memilikinya.
33. Spirometer
Kalau kita anggap alat ini sebagai alat elektromedik maka kita bisa menempatkannya di bagian
atas pembahasan kita mengenai 100 alat kesehatan dan fungsinya ini. Namun tidak mengapa kita
taruh di bagian bawah, karena pada dasarnya alat ini juga berfungsi sebagai alat diagnostic.
Hanya saja bukan seperti alat – alat analyzer.
Spirometer merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi untuk pemeriksaan gangguan pernapasan, atau
untuk mendeteksi ada tidaknya penyakit paru obstruktif yang diderita oleh seseorang pasien.
Pasien meniupkan udara melalui mulutnya dengan keras pada sebuah pipia kecil yang dinamakan
mouthpiece. Dari pemeriksaan tersebut diperoleh data prosesntase yang merupakan kesimpulan
sementara.
Selanjutnya kita akan melanjutkan pembahasan mengenai alat kesehatan dan fungsinya dengan
menyebutkan berbagai macam alat medis yang kita golongkan ke dalam alat – alat Non
Elektromedik.
Infus Set sering disebut juga dengan seperangkat alat infus.Yaitu terdiri dari selang infus,
lengkap dengan jarum dan juga pengatur laju aliran cairan.Alat ini paling banyak digunakan di
rumah sakit dan klinik, sebab ketika seseorang dirawat dirumah sakit, alat ini pasti diberikan
pertama kali untuk menjaga agar tubuh tidak kekurangan cairan.
Alat kesehatan yang satu ini banyak sekali macam dan jenisnya, oleh karena itu disebut dengan
istilah instrument. Instrument bedah merupakan alat yang digunakan dalam proses operasi, baik
sekali pakai ataupun bisa digunakan berkali – kali. Ada banyak sekali jenis dan contohnya
seperti gunting operasi, pisau operasi, pinset, dan lain sebagainya.
40. IV Catheter
IV yang dimaksud di sini adalah intra vena, jadi cateter yang dipergunakan untuk pembuluh darh
vena. Berbentuk tabung yang ramping. Fungsi alat ini cukup banyak diantaranya yaitu untuk
kebutuhan pengambilan sample darah, monitor tekanan darah, dan juga mengelola ciran
intravena.
Siapa yang tidak tahu kapas ?Semua orang saya rasa mengetahuinya.Kapas juga termasuk alat –
alat kesehatan yang digunakan di rumah sakit dan klinik. Fungsi kapas ini yaitu untuk
mengaplikasikan obat dalam proses penyembuhan luka. Kapas juga berfungsi untuk penyerapan
cairan dari tubuh jika diperlukan.
Hampir sama dan mirip dengan kapas, hanya saja struktur dan bahannya berbeda. Fungsinya
juga hampir sama seperti kapas, hanya saja kasa tidak langsung untuk pengaplikasian obat,
namun berfungsi untuk menutup luka.
Pembalut Elastis juga sering disebut dengan elastic bandage.Yaitu sebuah perban terbuat dari
substansi bahan yang elastis yang berfungsi untuk menopang dan menekan bagian tubuh yang
membutuhkan.Biasanya alat ini digunakan pada penderita gangguan tulang dan sendi.
Ketemulagi dengan Bed Pasien, namun yang ini adalah seri manualnya.Karena tidak
menggunakan energi listrik jadi kita masukkan alat kesehatan ini pada golongan alat medis non
elektromedik. Beda pasien manual sama fungsinya dengan bed elektrik, perbedaanya hanya
terletak pada sistem penggerak crank.
47. Masker
Bila anda berkunjung ke rumah sakit, tentu anda akan melihat banyak petugas medis
mengenakan masker pada saat menangani pasien. Tujuannya adalah agar tidak terkontaminasi
atau meminimalisir penularan penyakit dari pasien yang satu ke orang yang ada disekitarnya
termasuk pada petugas medis.Masker juga tidak hanya digunakan untuk orang medis, kita juga
bisa menggunakannya secara bebas.
59. Plester
Alat yang satu ini termasuk alat-alat kesehatan keperawatan karena biasanya para perawat yang
menggunakan dan bekerja dengan peralatan seperti ini.Plester berfungsi untuk merekatkan
penutup luka seperti kapas dan kasa pembalut.Fungsinya agar penutup luka tidak terlepas dan
luka tidak terkontaminasi dengan bibit penyakit.
Alat kesehatan ini disebut juga dengan nama Ambubag. Yaitu sebuah alat emergency yang
berfungsi untuk memberikan pertolongan napas buatan dengan cara memompakan udara ke
dalam pernapasan pasien yang membutuhkan. Alat ini biasanya dilengkapi dengan masker untuk
memudahkan proses pemberian udara ke mulut pasien.
52. Stetoskop
Kita selalu melihat alat ini dikenakan oleh dokter ketika melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap
pasien.Stetoskop merupakan alat medis yang berfungsi untuk memeriksa detak jantung dan suara
tarikkan napas pasien untuk diagnosis sementara atau diagnosa awal.

Kalau diatas kita sudah membahas mengenai Bloog Bag sekarang kita ketemu dengan Urine
Bag.Yaitu alat medis yang digunakan untuk menampung Urine (air seni) pasien dengan
gangguan pertentu, biasanya alat ini terhubung dengan selang catether.
Tidak hanya termometer yang memiliki jenis manual, timbangan badan juga memiliki dua jenis
yaitu manual dan digital.Timbangan berfungsi untuk mengukur berat badan baik orang dewasa,
anak – anak ataupun bayi.Timbangan manual hasil pengukuran diketahui dari melihat posisi
angka pada skala jarum yang ditunjukkan oleh alat.
Alat ini menjadi bagian dari proses pemeriksaan dan perawatan gigi dan gusi. Dental cement
berfungsi untuk pengisi gigi yang bersifat sementara.Hal ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk
melindungi pulpa gigi.
65. Torniquet
Jika anda pernah diambil darahnya untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan, maka perawat akan mengikat
lengan anda dengan sebuah alat seperti kain elastik yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah mencari
dimana letak pembuluh darah. Alat non elektromedik ini dinamakan torniquet.
Saya sebenarnya tidak perlu memberitahu anda pengertian dan definisi kursi roda, karena hampir
semua orang mengetahuinya. Kursi Roda termasuk alat kesehatan yang berfungsi sebagai
walking aid, atau alat bantu jalan. Kursi roda digunakan untuk pasien yang mengalami kesulitan
berjalan. Kursi roda ini juga digunakan untuk lansia atau orang yang memiliki cacat sejak lahir.
Alat yang digunakan untuk memasang jarum kemudian memberikan tusukan pada jari saat
pengambilan sampel darah dengan alat cek portable yaitu lancing device. Bentuk alat ini
menyerupai ballpoint. Blood lancet dipasang pada bagian ujung depan.
Alat Kesehatan yang masih dalam kategori non elektromedik yaitu statur meter. Statur meter
tidak lain adalah alat pengukur tinggi badan. Statyr meter sendiri memiliki cukup banyak varian.
Dan salah satunya yang paling banyak digunakan adalah seperti yang terdapat pada gambar
diatas ini.
Hampir sama dengan celana khitan, namun desain dan model celana hernia tidak sama. Celana
ini didesain untuk penderita hernia untuk terapi dan mempertahankan posisinya agar tidak
kembali turun. Celana ini terbuat dari bahan kain dan ada juga yang dilengkapi dengan beberpa
jenis bahan lain untuk penyembuhan.
Ada yang ketinggalan pada saat kita membahas alat kesehatan elektromedik, yaitu satu alat yang
sangat penting di ruang operasi. Lampu Operasi, merupakan alat kesehatan elektromedik yang
menggunakan energi listrik cukup besar. Apalagi untuk lampu dengan kapasitas yang besar serta
pencahayaan yang tinggi.
Nah itulah pembahasan dua jenis alat kesehatan dan fungsinya, sekarang kita berlanjut dengan
membahas satu jenis lagi yaitu alat – alat diagnostic in vitro. Contoh alat medis yang ketiga yaitu
alat – alat kesehatan diagnostic in Vitro. Ada apa saja ? Langsung saja kita lanjutkan dengan
nama alat alat kesehatan diagnostic.
Apakah anda pernah mendengar istilah bayi kuning ? Yaitu sebuah penyakit yang membuat kulit
bayi berwarna kuning. Hal ini terjadi karena kelebihan kadar bilirubin pada bayi prematur. Hal
ini ditangani dengan alat Phototerapy Unit yang sudah kita bahas diatas.Namun untuk
menentukan berapa banyaknya bilirubin ini dilakukan analisa dengan menggunakan alat ini.Alat
uji bilirubin juga disebut dengan jaundice meter.
Perkembangan teknologi semakin maju hingga banyak alat – alat dibuat untuk kemudahan
manusia.Contohnya alat kesehatan yang satu ini.Alat cek darah portable terdiri dari tiga macam
tes darah yaitu glukosa, kolesterol dan asam urat.Alat ini dirancang untuk penggunaan klinik dan
pemakaian pribadi.
91. Reagen
Kalau alat portable yang tadi kita bicarakan menggunakan strip tes, sedangkan untuk alat
Chemistry Analyzer dan Hematology Analyzer menggunakan cairan yang dinamakan Reagen.
Reagen harus disimpan dalam tempat khusus dengan suhu tertentu, bila akan dibawa ke satu
tempat dibawa menggunakan alat yang telah dilengkapi dengan icebag untuk mempertahankan
suhunya tetap dingin.
94. Laryngoscope
Tidak cukup banyak orang mengetahui alat ini. Laryngoscope berasal dari kata laring dan scope.
Banyak alat – alat medis yang menggunakan kata “scope” yang berarti melihat. Laryngoscope
merupakan alat yang berfungsi secara khusus memeriksa atau melihat bagian laring. Dirancang
dengan desain yang sedemikian rupa sehingga mudah digunakan.
95. Otoscope
Seperti yang saya katakan tadi, selain laryngoscope ada juga alat medis yang disebut otoscope.
Yaitu satu alat diagnostic fisik yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah pemeriksaan dalam telinga.
Peran dan kegunaanya sama seperti laryngoscope.
96. Opthalmoscope
Tiga alat ini serupa namun tidak sama, kalau tadi kita sudah membahas Laryngoscope dan
Otoscope, sekarang ada Opthalmoscope. Yaitu alat yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah
pemeriksaan mata manusia. Ketiga alat ini biasanya tergabung menjadi satu set yang disebut
dengan diagnostic set.
Kembali lagi pada alat yang bersifat diagnostic in vitro. Koagulan analyzer yaitu sebuah alat
yang berfungsi untuk menganalisa pembekuan darah. Alat ini berhubungan dengan kondisi
pendarahan pada pasien yang tidak dapat diidentifikasi dengan pemeriksaan fisik.
Anda tentu mengetahui penyakit TBC, nah untuk mengetahui adanya Mycobacterium
Tuberculosis diperlukan satu alat tes yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi anti-TB-IgG dan juga
anti-TB-IgM. Alat ini dapat mendeteksi kedua macam antibody tersebut dengan menggunakan
prisnsip kerja pengujian screening.
